Addilyn didn't know what to do. She wanted to text him, ask him if her suspicions were correct, or at least ask him if he was okay after the fight. Though she was quite confident in his skills, at the same time she was still worried, she didn't want him getting hurt because of her. That would make her feel absolutely horrible. She just really hoped he hadn't gotten himself hurt. Edited at November 3, 2019 07:15 PM by Soaring Free

Jason waved an absent hand, "Nah, Zero. I had in under control. You know there's no way I'd allow myself to get caught. That's what happens to fool, and while I'm reckless, I'm not an idiot." Zero, the head man, growled another string of curses under his breath, then spoke louder, "R, one day your damn luck is going to run out, and you are going to be dead."

Addilyn was worried, there was no denying it. She stared at her phone on the coffee table in front of her as she sat on the couch. Internally, she was debating on whether or not she should text Jason. She needed to know if he was okay. What if he'd gotten hurt? She grabbed her phone and quickly shot over a text. 'Jason, are you okay?" She sent it within a second, immediately regretting her decision but she could undo what she'd done. Addilyn hoped he had his phone on him. Otherwise it would be forever till she got an answer.

As Jason talked with Zero, and some other thug that wandered in, he didn't realize Addilyn had sent a message. Whenever he was going out as a villain, he never brought it with him. One, because if it made a sound his cover would be blown, and if he was captured, they would immediately have access to his information, and who he contacted. Then, there was also that fact that while his energy draining skill was nearly perfected, it would still drain the charge of his phone and suddenly recharge it again since it was in contact with him, which killed the battery. He knew from experience.

Addilyn paced around for awhile, finally realizing that she probably wouldn't get a reply any time soon. She dragged her hands down her face, the worry was strong. Addilyn stared at her phone, she didn't have anyone to talk to... unless Lewis was willing to talk to her again. She snatched up her phone and called her friend. Anxious to see if he would reply or not.

"Yo," Zero suddenly stiffened, "Someone's upstairs - poking around the entrance. R - get your ass up there and draw them away. We can't be discovered." Jason mock saluted with a grin, standing up, "Aye-aye, Captain. Will do." Moments later, Jason was gone, and on the run again.

At around 4 am, Jason had finally shaken the police of his trail, and arrived at home. He took his time showering and getting changed, and decided to put on a pot of coffee. While it was brewing, Jason grabbed his phone, not expecting much. When he read Addilyn's text, the color drained from his face. There was no way she knew, right? The police would be banging on his door - no, he'd be in jail by now. She couldn't know, right? Jason sent off a reply, typing of a, "All good - what's up?" in an attempted to be casual.., at 4:30 am.
