As she accepted his hand and defeat he kept smiling. He helped her down from her hiding spot before jumping down himself and landing quietly without a sound. "Of course I did, I always get what I'm after." He gave a small laugh as her

elbowed her playfully. When she ruffled his hair he could feel his ears getting warm, but he didn't mind. He still couldn't believe all that had happened today. From when they originally met to him being in a cage to now this. He tilted his head back, letting the sun illuminate his every future. "Hmm." He paused for a fake dramatic effect as he looked back at her. He could hear the nervousness in her little giggle. "I think you did splendid." He let his hand creep over to hers as he took a step closer to her. Her long hair looking like molten gold, flowing in the gentle breeze, the sun reflecting light ever so slightly, giving it an extra shine like a polished diamond.

Babum. Babum. Babum. Steady, simple. Babumbabumbabum. There it is. Nothing stays simple for long. From the smallest drop of rain to the Zueses loudest thunder bolt. Hand in hand his heart was beating out of his chest and into his throat. Overwhelmed by her simple yet jaw dropping all stopping beauty. She she turned to him, gripping his ha.d with hers he saw her cheeks redden. He couldn't blame her. He knew his ears and cheeks where probably hot to the touch. Burning even. He felt the pace of his breath quicken with his heart as he searched her ocean eyes for an obvious treasure. One of hope. Finally letting go of her hand and feelingvery awkward, he gave a new smile. Not one of mischief or messing around. But instead one that opened him up. Made him vulnerable and soft. Like a baby cat. Keeping his voice to such a gentle tone you wouldn't think it would be him he offered some words. "Not just trouble. That's far to simple." He slowly lifted his hand to her face and moved some of her silky gold locks from her face. He decided to take another step forward. "If your brave enough, you'll find you can gain or loose so, so, so much more then a bit of trouble." Even though he was slightly taller then her, in this moment he felt like they were seeing eye to eye. Intertwined in some way unfathomable for anyone else to understand.

She removed Caligo's blood stained shirt shirt from her side as the flesh had healed itself, now it was all internal. Part of her felt like decaying and the other part like flying. She threw it over to the side and leaned into his hand a bit.more then she would have liked to admit as she watched both of their faces. She swore she saw horror. Shock. Pain... What did I expect, that's the normal reaction to being told someone breaks fingers and causes pain as a job. Hades ,I'm such a screw up. She sat silently cursing herself as she wanted someone to strike her dead now. Then she remembered the voice. Not yet. Far to much to do. She felt a large gentle hand on her shoulder and turned to face them once more. I deserve whatever he is about to say to me. She waited as she closed her eyes expecting the worse."Hey, so what. Your one of us now." And then she felt him grab and hold her hand. This. This is not what I should get. She met his pale moon gaze like a child who had broken something and told their parents, or a dog who destroyed the home while the family was away. Guilty. The next words hit even harder. "No matter what, I've got your back." A tear formed in her eyes as she was not accustomed to forgiveness. She tightened her hand and hoped he understood how much blood was on her conscious. Even though she felt the burning of her side she didn't care as she cried softly, the tears now free from their crimson prisons. She looked over at Mystica. "I don't deserve this mercy or forgiveness." She let her hand go and looked him dead in the eyes as she wiped her own tears this time. "You know I can't stop. Not till I'm threw with Rqgmar, the bread man. He's my last target." As she spoke his ne her jaw clenched. "He deserves worse then me." She reached for the sand and went to stand up. Knowing she had to get up to collect some things at the sight of the fight.

He went silent and held his breath wjen she rested her soft hand under his chin. "I've never felt this before. Whatever it is... I want to keep it forever" The words repeated in his mind over and over. Gentle, kind, flawless. He tried to keep his breath steady even though he wanted to scream and collapse out of joy. Just sort of flop over. Then she kissed his cheek. I- wh- ahh. His mind drew a complete blank as she grabbed and hugged him tightly. Not knowing what else to do he placed a hand over her head and rubbed it softly as the other arm hugged her in return. This is- what do I say. As he panicked his heart rate increased slowly. "Your not alone in that feeling." He held her closely as he heard a small cry in the distance. And he returns. He didn't bother letting her go. He simply didn't want to. His mind was busy yet calm. Like a flat surface on the ocean with currents just under the surface.

Thalia

She had gained her balance slowly as the pain was going away now. Almost completely healed. Almost. She wiped the last of her tears. Both of pain and guilt. She bit her tongue to hold herself back. She didn't want him to make an obligation or a promise he simply couldn't keep. Spilling blood was her job. That's how she could afford to move from place to place. She turned to Mystica and kept baited breath. "Without hesitation. Then for his sake I better not have another incident." She paused before continuing. "On another note though, I've heard dragon scales have healing abilities. I didn't want to go back and collect and use them without your permission. But at the same time if they are mixed with some other things they could cause death. Do you wante to collect and use or neutralize them?" She was so focused on Mystica that when she turned to Caligo she was slightly surprised to see him at her side in case she fell. She gave a slight giggle and nod as she wrapped an arm around him for a but more support. "I can't afford to hault everything and move on quiet yet." In all honesty she knew what she did for a living was cruel and wrong. But at the age time when she carried out a job and got the money, information, blood... she felt satisfied. And she didn't know if that made her position worse. "Caligo. Your nice, sweet even. I don't want you to feel obligated to watch me do what I have to do." God's why. Why do you make these perfect people and pair them with people like me. Its cruel. She turned to the ocean and gave a sigh as she could feel her insides feeling better. She looked to see just some slight bruising and removed her arm from Caligo's shoulder amd went to sit on the bolder she was on before it all went south and smiled at him softly. "Besides, don't you have your own jobs to do, hunting and all?" Her voice went up an octave as she realized he did have better things to be doing besides babysitting her sorry self.
