Addilyn
Addilyn's voice came out more sweetly and gently than it ever had before. "Love you too," her voice was a near whisper but her love for him had never been shown so much before. Her hands rested gently on his chest, she would probably never move all night, just to make sure he was still there with her.

Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn knocked quietly on the door to her patient's room. Not wanting to enter and see anything she wasn't supposed to. Her bag in hand, she needed to give the child round of fluids. Her rainbow colored hair fell in messy waves down her back and she wasn't wearing any makeup. Kaitlyn had never been a morning person unless she had coffee. Which she hadn't so she wasn't in the best of moods.

Rainbow answered almost immediately. They looked wide awake and ready to go. "Come in," they said quietly, opening the door. Ribs was asleep still, and the little girl had a blanket pulled over her."She was shivering last night." They explained.

Kaitlyn nodded, "of course she was. We don't have heaters and it's in the forecast that it's going to snow. It's even worse for her since all her body functions are messed up. At least she was shivering, that's a good sign that her body is still trying to keep her alive." Katie was being completely honest. Giving no false hope but some actual real hope. Looking over the person that opened the door, she realized something. "Okay, not trying to be rude but what do I call you? I'm gonna be here pretty often and I want to know everyone's names and stuff." Kaitlyn asked this as she walked over to the child. Beginning to take down the drip and replacing it with a new one.

"Uh, Rainbow." They scratched the back of their head, pink hair fluffing up. "I'll leave you to work." Rainbow sat on a chair and clasped their hands together, anxious.

Kaitlyn meerly nodded as she focused on her patient. Replacing the fluid bag with another one. Placing the used one in a pocket in her bag that she used only for trash. The child was rather cold. "I have a small portable heater that I don't use much. I'll bring it in here for Aloe." Kaitlyn said simply, throwing the bag over her shoulder. "I'll be back in a bit with some sort of broth to feed her. It should hold her off till she wakes up. She'll eventually have to go to the restroom too..." Katie trailed off, smoothing her rainbow hair back.

"I can try to find something?" They said hesitantly, fiddling with their fingers. This was all their fault. Rainbow felt the desperation creep into them. The girl HAD to get better. They wouldn't allow anything else. Edited at July 9, 2018 08:06 PM by Abibliophobia

"That would be kind of you. I don't have a lot of stuff for comas and the like. I normally just smack them till they wake up, that's only with people I don't like though." Kaitlyn remembered one of the times she had done that. It had been very funny. For her at least.

Rainbow bristled a bit, but took a deep breath. "Okay. I'll go look for that." They hurried out of the room, not finding her violent activities amusing. Yes, they were violent as well, but they never found it humorous, and in the majority felt horrible about it after.
