I weaved through the Military Raptors, occasionally getting greeted because this was a common thing to them. All of them were armored up like they were preparing to go on a mission. Vehicles went through occasionally, There were even some humans following them. A few spooked me, seeing a raptor without armor normally means it's wild or one that would kill you on sight. My mother and father trained me out of that habit when they introduced us to a human named Jack. I came around to the front and saw a group of humans and one vehicle that wasn't as big, it was more shiny. There were a lot more humans and raptors gathered around it too, then I saw Jack amongst the bunch. He seemed to be waiting but I didn't care, I quickly ran over to him, greeting him with a clicking sound and bumping my head into his chest, and nuzzling him as he hugged me quickly.

"Rose!? What are you doing out here you should be in an enclosure!!!" He said startled

"One day she approached the gate as her father would, and someone unknowingly let her out without realizing it. She wasn't hostile, if anything she was curious and respectful to the Military Raptors. We noticed her parents also seemed to teach her not to attack humans, something we have failed to do. After the incident we just kept letting her out, she didn't cause any harm and she doesn't get in the way since she's a loner," The head scientist said walking up to him. "She truly is gorgeous," He said.

I ran back off and continued on my way, there were a few human screams but I ignored them.

As i ran into the cave i turned around to see that i had gotten third. I jumped up and down. "Yes!! Thats the best ive done all week!" Clay, who had gotten last came up to me with a smile. "Good-job. I just wished i was there to see your win!" I laughed, "i didnt win but thanks brother." "Wanna go again?!," i heard Jade say in the background. Most of us sighed before walking out of the den but some nodded. I for one just walked out, along with Sky, Snowfall, Clay, Miracle, and our younger siblings except for Flower. As the next race contestants made a line everyone eles went to do their own thing. I for one went down to our nest to sit with Mom. She greeted me with a click and nuzzled me as i sat down. I nuzzled her back happily before resting my head on her. Ever since we turned 6 months old they started to take dad out on missions again. This worries mom but i dont see what the big deal is. Maybe if she would explain it to us though, we would be worried too. Then again why would she want to worry us? Either way we all miss dad while hes away but im just glad i still have mom to be with while hes gone.

Ill be changing to my different characters just for fun and keep to interesting, by the way. Oh and i decided the names of Forests and Azuls real children. Summer, Winter, Autumn, and Flower. They are all girls. ^^

"Rose," I stopped running and turned to see my father and ran to greet him

"DAD!" I said excitedly.

"Mind if I run with you?" He said coming up right next to me, I was between his and mom's height but still the smallest of my siblings.

"Yeah!" I said happily that he want to run with me,

"Great follow me," He said with a grin and I get even more excited, my eyes lit up and he chuckled. We took off heading for the front gate to the facility. I heard not many have been outside the facility, not even my mother has, except for missions, but not on her own. We ran through the gates, heading straight into the timber. He took me through the trees and we came to a slow stop. Slowly moving forward, until I saw deer ahead, I looked at him excitedly. He smiled and then signaled to circle them. I did so and watched where he was, he motioned for me to pick one out. He was letting me hunt medium-sized prey on my own, a lesson my siblings haven't gotten yet. I picked out a large 8-pointer buck, then jumped out. I ended up having to chase them a bit but still caught him. My dad came out of the Timber with a big smile,

"Enjoy your kill!" He said and I happily started eating "Tomorrow I will take you with me and I will teach you how to hunt bigger prey when it's just you," I raised my head in amazement

"Really!?" I said with a large smile and he chuckled again, unlike my siblings I liked it when my parents taught me things. They always liked to figure it out on their own and only go to our parents when they mess up.

"yes really," he said then got closer "Don't tell your siblings about any of this, you are the only one who asks for help so you are given it," He said with a whisper and then a large grin. I nodded excitedly.

I said goodbye to my father after talking with him inside the walls of the facility. I trotted back off to the gate and greeted my mother who was getting a drink and smiled at me. I trotted over to her and got a drink,

"I'm guessing your father took you out?" she said with a smile and i looked astonished

"Don't worry, we discussed it before he took you. I'm guessing you got a big one by how happy you are," She said with another smile and I nodded quickly.

"Where are my siblings?" I asked

"getting examined in cages," she said "They aren't as friendly with humans other than Jack still, so they have to get their heads put into the headlock to be examined." She said with a sad tone and a disappointed look.

"Hey, for us being your first clutch we came out pretty nicely," I said nuzzling my mother,

"I guess you guys did," She said

I lined up with my siblings before bolting as Jade said "GO!!" I ran as fast as i could and somehow i was catching up to Jade. As the adrenaline pushed me on we went around the pond. We then headed to the river. As everyone jumped i skidded to a stop. I slipped but managed not to get in the water. Pixel was last and saw me crash and burn so she laughed as i got up. I just ignored her and rolled my eyes as i shook myself off. I then walked over to where Rose and Nightmare was. "Hi Nightmare! Hi Rose!" I said with a big smile.

"Hello Amor," my mother greeted me as I got a drink. When I raised my head from the water a few droplets fell from my chin.

"Hello," I said stepping further into the water to wash the blood and fur off me.

"How are you all?" my mother asked, I could tell she missed the messing around. I should invite her to run with me again, I did get my stamina from her.

"Im good Nightmare but," My head turned towards Rose, i didnt want to be rude or anything but i was coming to talk to Rose but i was trying to be nice, "did you go on a hunt Rose?! Your so lucky you get to go out! What did you get? I bet is was the biggest and strongest thing ever!"

"No, I didn't go on a hunt. I just got to the food the moment they were bringing in fresh kills that still had skin, I had to clean it myself," I said covering up my lie.

"Oh, well atleast you still get to go out." I said with a smile. I then got a drink, not sure what eles to say. After getting a drink i spoke again, "So, do you want to race? Or ummm we can do whatever you want to. I dont mind what we do. Or i can just go if youd like."

"I'm not a big fan of racing, but I do enjoy running in general," I then turned to my mother "Speaking of running, would you like to run with me outside the enclosure mother?" I said getting excited again "I know I got my stamina from you, and I think you would enjoy it since you haven't been able to run long distances for a while!" I said

"I don't know if they would allow me outside the pen Rose," She said cautiously. "I still have the instinct to kill humans other than Jack," She said and my mood dropped. She didn't suggest I run with Amor since she knew I wasn't very social, and I was grateful. "To be honest I do miss the running and going on missions. But those days were over for me the moment I no longer had human alpha," She said sadly

"I want to talk with you and dad later alone, is that fine?" I asked

"Of course it is, just come and get us before we go to sleep,"

I sighed as Rose basically ignored me after telling me she didn't want to race. Not wanting to bother her anymore i decided to leave. I didn't bother saying bye as i went back to the pond. I sat down by the pond and put my tail in the water. How could i get Rose to like me? Just then Flower came up to me. Even though she was just a week younger than me and my siblings we thought of them as our younger siblings. "Whats wrong? You look sad." She said as she nuzzled me. I nuzzled her back before answering, "Oh, its just that Rose never wants to talk to me but i just really- it doesn't matter though." She looked sad since I was sad ss she rapped her tail around me. "Dont worry. Someday youll find love. Weather that be Rose or someone eles. Besides were young now. Dad or mom would want us to have fun while we can.

A big smile spread across my face as i turned to Flower. "Since we should have fun, you should help me escape." Flower gasped, "Not like that Amor!" "Fine, ill do it myself or find someone eles who wants to." Flower looked worried as she spoke, "Please dont Amor. I dont want to have to tell mom." I rolled my eyes, "Oh come on Flower!" She sighed, "Fine. But be back before dark, and dont get into trouble. Oh and im only not telling this one time!" I got up with a smile on my face as i ran away from the pond. I didn't know how i was going to escape but i was determined.
