Zaine had ran off for a solid five minutes before returning. He had spooked, yes, but he returned like the loyal horse he was. The tall horse looked a little nervous but merely stood a ways away, prepared to alert them to any dangers. Ekon was hardly concious, his eyes fluttering open, then closing again. He was engulfed in the pain in his chest, and tears slipped out of his eyes, which were flashing between golds and browns richer and darker than anything they'd ever changed into before, blood slipped out around the arrow as well. Dakota looked distressed, his elf could not leave him just yet. Even the slight possibility of saving his companion snapped him out of his stupor and he looked dead into Anasuri's eyes and slowly nodded. His gaze moved over to Dava. "We must hurry, do you have any ideas on how to move him?" He was smart, but not when it came to being gentle.

Dava was a quick thinker, luckily, "Place your paws under his torso, but don't lift until I say so," Anasuri could hear Dava as well, and listen carefully, "Anasuri will keep his head and neck from being injured, and I will take his legs. Once we get to the horse... I will manuver his legs to straddle Melion, and Anasuri will sit being him. You just support him, Dakota." There was a rustling as Melion lowered himself down, his forlegs bending as his body went down with a graceful "Whomp!" The horse was ready, and wouldn't move.

Dakota got into position and waited, as he was a patient bear. Though he definitely was freaking out inside. Ekon was losing blood, fast, he supposed it would be worse if the blood was coming out slowly, because that would mean major blood loss. His elf was pale and his breathing shallow and quick. Dakota felt helpless, he was useless in this situation.

The three of them carefully loaded Ekon onto the horse, and Anasuri got up behind him. Melion, waiting until the two on his back seemed stable, then got up with a huff. It was a fast movement, but there wasn't another choice. Ansuri gripped onto the tall knight, "Okay, Dakota... can you go into the charm? If not, then try to run behind us as fast as you can." Dava whisked away into Anasuri's own charm. After recieving a reply from Dakota, Anasuri urged Melion on, telling him to go as fast as possible.

Ekon released a soft groan of pain but nothing more as Melion moved. He was hardly aware of what was happening, other than the energy it took to breathe in and out. It was all just painful and he felt like he truly could not get enough air. Black dots danced around his vision and his head felt as if it weighed 100 pounds. Dakota's comforting presence was soon inside the necklace he wore, his companion's life force saddened by Ekon's struggles.

They made it it to the castle surprisingly fast considering Melion was carrying two riders, one of which being a giant and lanky being. Anasuri knew she wouldn't be able to bring Ekon to her room, even if Dakota and Dava helped. There was one other choice. Anasuri directed Melion to the stables, and as the horse bent down, she called for the stablemaster. He would keep it a secret if she asked, and would help him bring the knight inside. The stablemaster was also a very tall and strong elf, so his assistance would be helpful.

During the ride back, Ekon's condition had only worsened, his breathing slowing and his breaths shallow and labored. Dakota was panicking inside his necklace prison, worry clouding his mind. If Ekon died, Dakota would probably die too.

The stablemaster reacted as Anasuri expected him to. The older man promised his silence, and helped bring Ekon up to Anasuri's room. From there, she had him leave, as this next part was an even bigger secret. Once Dakota was out, she had the bear and her companion move Ekon into the secret room that was located behind a heavy wooden door, hidden by a tapestry. There, her real witchy brews were being made. The knight was laid down on the stiff bed that was here for just this purpose, and Anasuri went to work. - It would be a difficult surgery and process, but it was possible.

Ekon groaned as he was moved from place to place, his eyes shutting and not opening again as he finally was allowed the peace of unconsciousness. Dakota appeared as soon as they left the stables, concern coating his gaze as he followed them to Anasuri's room. He gladly helped move Ekon to the hidden room, hoping beyond hope that Anasuri could help heal his Ekon.

Anasuri pulled away the clothes that were wet with blood to get a better view of the injury. She would have to get the arrow out, and find out how deep the puncture in Ekon's lung was. Hopefully it wouldn't be all of the way through, and have just grazed it. But there wasn't enough time for hopefullys and maybes. Anasuri had to act - and fast.
