Gus laughed, seeing Apollow struggle with the light, but the way it reflected in Apollow's hair made Gus giddy. It was a beautiful scene, Apollow lying on his stomach in the bed while the light glared directly on him. "Morning, Apollow," Gus whispered back, lying down again and staring at the ceiling. "Did you sleep well?" He asked, trying to make easy conversation so the silence didn't feel too strange.

Apollow finished his 'kitty stretches' and looked over at Gus. "Once I finally fell asleep I only woke up once, so I'd say pretty good," he moved around the blankets and peered over the pillow wall. "What about you? Were you comfortable?" He attempted to tame his wild bedhead with his hand when he heard a very familiar meowing growing louder, until Kiki ran Into the room and jumped on the bed. She walked around in the bed until she came to right in the dip of Apollows back. "Well thanks Kiki" he said.

Gus began to respond to Apollow before he was interrupted by Kiki's demanding meowing. He laughed as she sat on Apollow's back, practically pinning him in place. "I slept fine," he managed to say in between chuckles. "Woke up a couple of times, but I managed to sleep well. Thank you." He reached over the pillow wall to pet Kiki, letting her smell him again before he did. After petting her for a moment, he laced his fingers into Apollow's again.

Apollow was stuck under Kiki, but it was tolerable, at least we wasn't scratching him. When Gus reached over to grab his hand he felt a slight blush erupt into his cheeks, but pretended like he didn't notice. "That's good" he smiled towards Gus and squeezed his hand a few times. "What time are your buddies going to be expecting you, or are they?" He asked, remembering why he Offered for him to stay over in the first place.

Gus groaned and rolled his eyes, closing them. He ran his free hand down his face, sighing. "I don't know. Honestly, I don't really care, as long as you're here." Going from Apollow to his team was going to be torturous and painful, but he had to do it at some point. "This is going to suck." He looked over at Apollow again, smiling when he noticed that Apollow's hair was still a bit messy from sleeping.

"Well, you'll have to face them one time or another" he said looking over at Gus. Apollow wondered how it was going to go down. "If it doesn't go well I'm here, if you wanted to" he trailed off "talk I guess" he felt silly saying it, but it was true, he'd be here, even if he just wanted to hang out for no reason at all. "That reminds me, you don't have my number" he reached for his phone and pulled up his profile and set it on the pillow wall between them.

Gus nodded. "Yeah. I still dont know." As he entered Apollow's number into his own phone, he kept talking. "Theyre going to find out that I wasn't out with one of the cheerleaders at some point. And then they're going to tease me and call me gay. They are terrible people with no feelings, I swear." Gus handed Apollow his phone back, then texted him real quick, saying Hi :) and sending it. "Like, cant they just lay off?"

"That's rather vulgar, there's nothing wrong with gay people. I mean, I'm Bi, but lean towards guys, if they have grounds to pick on you then they might as well pick on me too then" he felt his face growing warm as he remembered the night before, he grabbed the pillow wall and push it off to the bottom of the bed, "don't need that anymore" his phone buzzed, he picked it up and smiled when he saw the text, making sure to save the number in his phone, he put a cute little '<3' next to his name.

Gus laid back on his back, arms sprawled out at his sides. "They'd make fun of you anyway. I hope you know that. You're the band kid type, which they hate. I wish they didn't though. There's nothing wrong with you, other than the fact that you are way too kind," He added at the end, winking over at Apollow quickly before looking back at the ceiling and blushing just slightly. "Do you got any food for breakfast? Im absolutely starving right now."

Apollow smiled at Gus's comment, glancing at their hands. "Well, too bad for them then. I'm only nice to those who deserve it" he stared at his ceiling, a slight pink raising to his cheeks. He felt absolutely stupid when Gus mentioned food. "Damn sorry, I usually don't eat until I get home so food didn't cross my mind," he took his free hand and attempted to tame his hair "yeah, There's leftovers in the fridge, I can get up and make them real fast" he sat up, but didn't let go of Gus's hand.
