Tristan glared at the ring for only a second, and shoved it in his back pocket. He looked over the demon's shoulder, and could see Adina crying on the other side of the room. His shoulders tensed, and he took a small step forward, not wanting her to be upset.

Echo saw the angels step forward, and put her hand out, shaking her head. "You can comfort her later." She said lowly. "Now is not the time." She herself looked over at Ajax, their eyes meeting. Regret. Hurt. Longing.

"Don't tell me what to do," Tristan hissed, shoving her hands away, and stepping back from her. The second the heads were done talking, he abandonded the domn, and hurried to Adina, who's pretty face was tearstained and tired looking.

Echo sighed, running her hand down her face. Ajax glared savagely at the male angel as he saw how he treated Echo. He stalked over, knocking shoulders with Tristan and sending another withering glare toward him as he grabbed Echo by the wrist and pulled her to the other side of the area, away from the angels and wrapped his arms around her, burying his face in her shoulder.

Tristan returned the male demon's ugly look, flipping him off as he walked away. "Asshole," he muttered, seething on the inside, and wrapped his arms around Adina's waist, letting himself be miserable.

Echo rested one of her hands on his back and the other on his hair, running her hands through it because she knows it calmed Ajax down. She felt him relax against her and closed her eyes, trying not to get any dangerous or violent thoughts.

Tristan took a deep breath. "I'm not staying here," he said softly, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I'll see you back at the Embassy or wherever the hell they're putting us." Shoving his way out, he left the hall, stepping out into the sun.

"We need to go." Ajax hissed into her shoulder. "Hmm?" Echo asked, confused. Ajax glanced up at her, fury raging in his beautiful indigo eyes. "We need to go. We can't stay here, or at the Complex, or with the angels or anywhere near the heads." He seethed.

Adina stood near the corner of the room, looking lost and irritated. Tristan had managed to get away from all the well wishers, and had gone back to his childhood home, burying his face in his pillow, and breathing in the familiar scents of home.

Echo looked at the ceiling, pondering their options. "The Blazing Forest." They both said at the same time. The one place where they would constantly hangout before all this shit happened before their lives went to hell. The one place where they felt they belonged, away from stereotypes and responsibilities and parents and angels. "Let's go." Ajax said, grabbing her hand again and they headed to the exit, dodging everyone.
