"Don't rush so much, Nightmare's and mine just finally finished hatching and started walking. That took a couple of hours, don't rush, I'm just now getting food for them. Plus they can last 2 days without food after hatching, and they can just eat their eggshells. There is a lot of protein in their shells that they didn't fully absorb while developing." I said to him, "11 out of our 15 eggs hatched, the 4 that didn't hatch weren't fertilized but still grew inside Nightmare for some reason." I said scrunching my face "We just fed them to the young since we didn't them to go to waste,"

"Your right. I need to slow down but i was just so excited and caught in the rush. How are you so calm all the time though? If you dont mind my asking. To me young are the most exciting thing, well almost but still." I said as we trotted, getting closer and closer to the food pile.

"I don't know, I guess fewer worries knowing I can handle most situations. The thing is if Nightmare weren't so calm and didn't act like she knew what she was doing I would probably be a lot more worried." I said with a smile, "But that's not the case, I guess when you are used to being a loner and going through the stuff me and her have gone through. It takes a lot to make us anything but calm," I said grabbing some food and trotting back.

I was kinda surprized i was having a normal conversation with Zier but i nodded at his words. I still didnt really understand it fully but that was fine, him and Nightmare are him and Nightmare and forest and me are forest and me. I then grabbed a big chunk of meat before turning around again. We went the rest of they way without talking. "Bye Zier, nice talking to you." I said as we entered the enclosure. I then trotted back to my our nests but when Zier was out of sight i let myself into a slow run.

I was surprized it took him so long the way he ran out but i was glad to see him. He put the food down beside me before sitting down. "Another has hatched while you were gone. They are both boys and i named that one," i said pointing to the greenish baby, "Tip and the other, Amor. He nodded but i could see the worry in his eye once he saw Tip's deformed arm. Luckily though another crack in an egg distracted him, making him put his face closer to the egg. I laughed before eating the meat Azul had brought.

Soon all the eggs had hatched and were all named. 9 out of the 10 hatched. Now the young were begging for food so i crunched the egg shells up so they could eat. They happily ate it and both me and Azul smiled a proud smile. I decided to save the meat in my stomach that Azul brought for the young for later since i doubted they would be hungry after eating the egg shells. After the young ate they all cuddled up to sleep. It was a very cute sight but i knew they needed my warmth to be fully warm so i carefully sat atop them. Azul sat beside me and the nest like always and the whole family fell asleep to take a nap.

Zier brought the meat and dropped it next to me, the hatchlings watched me tear into it eagerly. They already ate the eggshells but it wasn't enough for all of them. They also started tearing into the large chunk of food, eating with me and Zier. They picked up on it quickly, then after they all lay beside me. I wasn't going to sit on them, I would crush them, and I wasn't going to hover over them. Zier curled up o the other side so they were walled in. They fell asleep while we talked, Devil's Rose didn't fall asleep though. She looks up at Zier and me, I bent my nose down and she nuzzled it happily. She did the same to Zier when he bent his head down, she then went and cuddled next to Zier instead of me. I watched him melt and I quietly giggled a bit. I had a feeling she was going to be the perfect mix of the two of us, not because of her coloring, but because of her behavior.

In the future would you want to skip to the next Generation as a roleplay? We could call it raptor roleplay Gen 2! I would use Devil's Rose.

When i awoke i was eager to find Nightmare but the babies cried for food. I sighed before giving them the regurgitated meat. They all ate their meat happily as Azul and I watched them. We noticed how each one was a different size, shape and color. It amazed Azul and he took turns Nuzzling all of them. A little girl named Jade refused though. It made Azul a bit sad but he got over it as the babies rushed over to him. He though it was because they wanted him but i really think they wanted more food, so i decided to give them the last of the food. We noticed Jade wasnt as trying to get out of the nest so we gently nuzzled her back into the nest. "I think Jade is a loner," Azul said with a chuckle and a smile.

I woke up to Devil's rose putting her head on my nose or at least trying. The rest were playing while Zier watched over them.

“I think Rose is a loner like me,” I told Zier

“Her behavior would make sense then,” He added “She tends to stick to my side more than playing with the rest. Ghost has just been dramatic and plays the victim a lot when he gets snapped at. Raven likes to tussle with the boys, but the boys keep trying to get Rose involved since she is larger than Raven. They got her involved for a bit but then she got bored and sat next to me again. Anubis gets pretty aggressive at times, but he notices when he does and checks on the others. Lucifer and Lothair like to practice sparring a lot already. Leo and mary act like twins, doing everything together. Nightcrawler, Dawn, and Crewella seem to watch from a distance and observe, then join in, it looks like they are analyzing the situation first.” He explained

“Wow,” I said in amazement, “Now I’m glad we didn’t let the humans take them, they would probably be a powerful attack team,” I said getting up and stretching. “I’m going to go get a drink, think you can handle them?”

"Of course, they listen very well," he said and I smiled

"I will be right back Love," I said

"Goodbye love," he responded happily and I walked out trotting to get a drink.

I must've fell asleep because when i awoke Azul was watching the babies. "Did i fall asleep?" Azul nodded, "But its fine because i have been observing them and know their personalities somewhat already." I smiled before shifting my feet. "Mind telling me?" I asked playfully. He laughed before answering, "Tip is very Adventerous but dosent like to get rough when playing. Amor is just a goofball. Sky is lazy and likes to watch her siblings plat instead of joining them. Miracle is clumsy. Snowfall is smart and she thinks shes to good for her sibling. Clay is a social butterfly. Jade is a loner but loves to run. Ader is more reserved, he been sitting by you or me most of the time and Pixel is the one who starts the fights. I had to stop her from hurting the others multiple times. Even though shes smaller she mighty."

I laughed, "Like Nightmare." He smiled, "Yes. Speaking of her you should go try to find her and stretch your legs. I can take care of the babies. Ive been doing it since you fell asleep so i think i can handle them a bit more." "Are you sure?" I asked in a serious voice. He nodded and i smiled before getting up. "Thank you! Ill be back soon!" He smiled, "Your welcome, now go have fun." With that i walked out of the den for the first time in a month or more. It felt good i had to admit but i was way to excited to enjoy it just yet. I decided to go to the river, hoping i would catch her drinking. Luckily she was there and i was so excited. "Nightmare!!" I said as i ran up to her and started to nuzzle her. "Its been forever!" I said, backing up a bit.

"Hello," I said carrying out the o in a warm welcome but calm tone. "It has, how many hatched?" I asked curiously. I bent down for a drink, enjoying the water.

I smiled at her question, "9 out of ten but we still have some waiting to hatch. In that brood we have eight. How many of yours hatched?" I then bent down to drink the cool water just as Nightmare did. It was very refreshing, especially after getting little water when you sit on eggs.
