Luna seemed hesitant to speak at first before she looked at the pack. "I didnt get a chance to know my father like I should have been able to. But what I do remember was his laughter when talking to my mother, telling her about his hunts that day. The sound of his voice when he thought I was asleep. He was a good wolf." She wasnt sure what else to add when that was really all she knew about the male.

Bluejay listened to her, he could tell she wished that she knew him better. He felt petty for her. Not being able to truly know your father. When she had finished he stepped back up. "Everyone, you may now eat." Amd he stepped besides her and lowered his head so she knew he felt bad for her. "That was sweet, c'mon, lets go eat." He walked forward a couple steps and waited for her.

Luna moved to sit next to Blue Jay. She rested her head against Blue Jay's shoulder for a moment before she looked back at the pack. While she didn't know most of them, she was grateful they were kind to her. *Hopefully when the packs merge I don't have to stay in the camp all the time* she thought. Her stomach gave a small growl and she looked at Blue Jay. "Am I allowed to eat" she asked.

As she touched him he almost flinched, but he didn't instead he just felt slightly awkward. When her stomach growled he chuckled. "Yeah, you can eat. No one is stopping you." He continued down to the food and just grabbed a dear leg and laid down as he eate it, slowly. Edited at April 4, 2021 01:39 PM by AppleBottomJeans

Luna grabbed a smaller chunk of the deer before she found a spot to lay down. As she ate, she kept looking up to the moon, not feeling too hungry, but knowing she had to eat. Her coat started to look almost silver in the moonlight. After she finished eating, she glanced around at the pack again.

As he ate he kept looking around at everyone. All talking about wolves long past. Some names re recognized, others not so much. As he watched he realized he had made it down to bone. He looked at it, and bit it, shattering the bone and revealing the marrow. He quickly ate it up and stood up and walked away quietly, and went past his parents who were eating and talking. He ended up in an odd clearing of a circle and just laid down.

Luna watched the pack before she got up and headed to the pond Blue Jay had mentioned. When she reached it, she slowly padded in and gave a small sigh. After a moment, she climbed out and shook off the water. She watched the monlight dance on the water and started to hum. Her humming soon turned into words as she recalled a song her father once sung to her. "Dancing little moon, dancing in the sky. Dancing my little Luna in the sky." She looked up to the moon as tears rolled down her cheeks.

As he sat under the moon, sad that a wolf for a wolfs death, he just looked skyward. His fur being gently rustled by the fresh night air. His ear perked as he heard a soft voice singing. He knelt down and followed it slowly, silently, careful not to crush leaves or a stick. What he saw was Luna, staring to the moon with tears down her face. He tilted his head, figuring the grief had finally gotten to her. Died before she could know him. He stepped forward cautiously and laid down slightly behind her, just letting his paw touch her tail, trying to be comforting.

Luna felt Blue Jay and adjusted herself to lay next to him. A wave of tiredness washed over her before she could say anything. As a yawn escaped her mouth, she placed her head on Blue Jay's paws and closed her eyes, falling asleep within moments.

Bluejay was stunned slightly when Luna laid down on his front legs. He just looked down at her. He smiled to himself as she went to sleep and he rested his head by her, and also drifted to sleep.
