she let out a squeak of surprize and then relized what he was doing. she nuzzled back and sighed.

" i'd like that... but i need to rest first... will you stay here with me?" shiloh watched the wolf, feeling happy for the first time in years. she closed her eyes and dozed off. cay didn't leave her side

I stay there for a bit until I smell a different wolf scent that I know I stand up and walk to the entrance of the cave seeing a hurt wolf

shiloh awakens and let out a yelp of surprize at the scent

" Cay what is it... who is the wolf... I can smell them... they seem hurt"

she tried to stand and as her bad leg shook she limped over to him and the new wolf

" who are you?"

I hear the wolf greet us as Acer." His name is Acer apparently." I say and the wolf leaves soon after." He just wanted to tell us that a group of wolves is coming this way."

" ok... we need to get out of here... quickly."

she takes a step and her leg gives out and she lands on the ground with a whine.

" dang it!"

"Come here I'll carry you." I get you on my back and grunt." To the west we go." I walk west and stop when it starts to get dark

" thanks... um... now what do we do?"

she growled to herself for asking a stupid question. she wasn't good at being with another wolf. she wanted to change that very much.

"I don't know and I don't care." I say and find a nearby river drinking from it and looking back at her smiling and lay down bathing in the sun

she crawled to him wincing in pain. then she leaned aginst him in the sun and they stayed like that untill the sky darkened and the sun dissapeared for the night

" well we should get some sleep... goodnight..."

she licked his cheek before blushing and turning away and curling up in a tight ball wincing again as her leg ached

"Night." I curl into a ball close to her and lick her leg again easing the pain." Your cute." I say before falling fast asleep
