+ Night Stalker - 1st Person + I paused for a second to think “The fact no other Alio or competition lives around here actually,” I said with a small chuckle. “Keeps my life mainly peaceful since the prey populations have slowly been growing. It’s enough to support a couple individual dinosuars who were smart to stick around.” I explained with a gentle sigh I turned to look around, looking over the Great Plains, “it wouldn’t surprise me if more dinosaurs started moving in, but to do that they have to cross the croc infested water. Even you saw what happened earlier though.” I explained with a bit of a nervous smile. “Either way, a lot of the dinosuars over here raise a lot of young, and enough to the point they can’t take care of it in their own.” I said with a pause. “But I guess that is why I help raise the babies who are abandoned, in the end it just adds to the number of prey I have in the future,” I explained “it’s not just about keeping them alive, it’s also thinking about my future,” I explained “I still have yet to find a mate and have hatchlings of my own.” I explained. With a sigh “maybe we should chat somewhere where we aren’t out in the open,” I said randomly seeing a couple of the larger predators move into the Great Plains.

Todd - 3 years - 3rd person - Todd heard her out and saw all her thoughts as reasonable. He nodded in agreement and when she mentioned other predators he swiftly turned his head to look over where she had suggested. They were much larger but even if they did manage to see the two and decide that they were a tasty meal, they were not catching Todd and Night. But none the less Todd found her caution reasonable. "Then lets go, a rather nice and reasonably dense forest in further North of here. Unless you want to go off by yourself?" Todd asked, he didnt wanna seem like he was forcing her to come with him but he did enjoy her company, she had a park in her eyes that at any moment could turn into a forest fire with compassion and character. - "But more Alios in numbers the better." He smiled at her bfore turning off and sprawling into a fast trot, looking over his shoulder to see her decision.

+ Nigh Stalker - 1st Person + I stared at the larger predators, one looked at us but was clearly disinterested as it focused on the easier prey. I watched them all curiously until Todd dragged me out of my thoughts. I paused to think about what he was talking about. Then I realized it when he started heading in the direction of my den. "Actually my den is in this direction," I explained, As I followed him. The trees over our heads swayed in the wind but we were protected from it under their leaves. The birds chirped and a couple of squirrels barked at us. I started to take the lead a little hoping I could show him my den. ----------------------------------------------------- Writer's block sorry >.<

Todd - 3 years - 3rd person - Todd smiled as he felt kind of intuitive, and let her take the lead. It was coming onto mid day now, Todd was suprized and supposed company made time fly by. His ears were alert with all little sounds and buzzes, chirps and barks. The soft pads of his feet only crushed the small dry leaves. He smelt rain coming fast, the sweet and heavy smell only meant one thing. He looked up through the trees towards the clouds and noticed the light, fluffy grey turning dark with condensation. "Rain. Its best to find shelter so im glad i can help you home." He pointed out, looking down back go Night. - Thats ok! Sorry i havnt been as active iv been dealing with family drama that is reaaalllyyy tiring haha

+ Night Stalker - 1st Person + I looked up seeing the darker clouds, examining how far away they were and how fast they were moving. "I would say we still have an hour," I said glancing back at Todd. We ran through the trees, and eventually, I saw my cave in the distance. "Here it is," I said as I slowed down, "it's pretty bare but I never had a reason to decorate or make it more comfortable." I explained "the trees being so close together help keep larger predators and things away. I don't see very many compys either, they tend to stick closer to water." I added "I don't even have to worry about the flyers since the treetops are too thick for them to land. I kinda hit the jackpot as far as a den goes," I said with a laugh, allowing him to look around. "it turns when you get farther in so I'm hidden when I bed down in my nest for the night," I explained, pretty content with myself. ------------------------------------------------ You're all good! I was starting to get a little worried not gonna lie!

Todd - 3yrs - 3rd person - Todd listened as as they approached further he got to really take it in. "You really did get lucky." He exclaims, slowing to a walk and putting his head to the ground, sniffing the ground. "You also picked a rather active hunting ground. Like a.. breakfast in bed." His smile was small and dopey looking but he seemed rather pleased with himself. It was big enough for both of them to fit snuggly. He stepped inside, the ground going cold, it was freshening. Todd, sniffed the walls and slowly tucked himself into a corner, tail tucked into himself he rubbed up againts one of the walls and plopped down, looking up at Night he smiled. "I like it. Youv been here a while, it seems." _____ No i totally understand im not going anywhere☺️ Edited at November 29, 2023 09:14 AM by CRIMSON PATH

+ Night Stalker - 1st person + I watched him get comfortable and then I made my way to my nest before I sat in it. I was a little confused at first but I eventually yawned. "darn it, I ate a little too much this morning and now I'm tired," I said slightly annoyed and fighting sleep. "I'm actually going to sleep until the rain passes over," I said with a sigh as I put my head down, curling into a ball as I got comfortable. I let out a long sigh and managed to fall asleep just as it started to sprinkle outside my cave. ------------------------------------------------------------------ extreme writer's block there for a second.

Todd - 3 years - 3rd persob _ Todd watched her for a moment and as she drifted off he yawned and placed his head down along the cool cave wall. His notrils flared for a moment but as his breathing slowed he slowly drifted off. - Rain pitter pattered and the wet wether was rolling in. There were gonna be more dinosaurs showing themselves for the wet season mating season. A lot of semi-aqautics like suchomimus and spinosaurus. Herbivores like igaunadon, camptosaurus and albertaceratops and many many more. Wet season was the start of a lot of change and lots of slip and sliding. This also made it easeir to find prey.. if your careful enough but with the constant rains comes floods and lots more opportunities to get taken by aquatic carnivores. In saying this, more babies mean more predators that are gonna be roaming a little to close to home. - Todd eyes sprung open at the sound of footsteps. Not one, not two but hundreds of footsteps. He positioned himself up and crawled to the corner to look into the outside world. Damp and humid his feet squished into the softening soil. His pupils linned as looming shadows strolled past, they were amargasaurs with some eoceratops trickled in. They were intimidating in numbers and Todd was lucky none of them had spotted his eye sore white colouring, one could have easily tail wipped him and broke his jaw or worse. He stepped back and the noise was almost too loud as it reverberated inside of the walls of the den. His head swiveled over his shoulder and he saw Night blending into the darkness very well.

+ Night Stalker - 1st Person + I slowly woke up to the sound of footsteps. I stood up stretching with a yawn, stepping out a bit so I could see what the noise was and what disturbed Todd. I saw a bunch of larger herbivores, I was too tired still to pay them much mind, but Todd looked startled. I was confused and the only thing I could come up with was that he was younger with less experience, which made me wonder how much of an age gap there was between us. It was obvious that I had more experience as I had been raising and taking care of adopted young for a few years. "You know the treeline is too thick for them to come through right?" I asked him "They won't even pay us much attention since there are only two of us and that is a large herd. The only thing that would try to break through the treeline to get to us is a large and starving carnivore, even then we would have a bit before they broke through the trees." I explained, curiously I decided to ask the question in my head. "How old are you?" I asked him "More specifically, how many wet seasons have you seen since you were a hatchling," I specified as I turned towards him.

Todd - 3yrs - 3rd person - Todd listened and understood but even then, the fear was still there. He had seen some angry herbivores take down things 4 times the size of him. He was no stranger to the danger of carnivores and herbivores alike. He stood straight and he wondered why she had asked him. "3 yrs.. 4 very long wet seasons, i was hatched right before wet season and this couple of months would be my 4th. Im not exprienced but I am aware of the power these massive dinosaurs hold." He smiled, he didnt want to seem condecending in any way and he was only young. - Yes he was old enough to be counted as a adult but he had not seen nearly enough of the world to make any fact based notions but he was knowledgeable. Hed observed for so long that he was weary. "My mother had told me stories of herbivores that attack without reason or ones that have turned on their own kind. Sickness, is what she described it as." He turned back towards the forest and shook his body, droplets and dirt flying away from him. He took a few steps out to where the herd had passed and turned to look at night. "How many wet seasons have you seen?"
