+ Urimenor - 3rd Person + Uri wasn't exactly impressed by his behavior, but appreciated the thought. She could handle herself against singular humans like this one, but it seems the male had other thoughts. She quickly preened her feathers to check if they were dry, but they were still damp. It was beginning to annoy her at how long it was taking. Normally she would head back to her cave but she didn't want to lead to male to her cave just yet. The human managed to sneak around the male as his eyes were on her. So she rolled onto her stomach so her softer and fleshy parts were covered and protected by the ground. but this meant she was grounded. Which wasn't an issue since she could just make him back off with fire and jump into the air. The human must not have guessed she was this big because he looked like a small mouse next to a large cat.

Ever Ever sighed to himself when the female didn't look impressed. Of course she wasn't, this puny human wasn't a threat to her. Even Ever's little brother wouldn't have a problem against this human. The male gave the female one last look before focusing back on the human. Except when he turned his head, the human wasn't there. Evet quickly yanked his head around, looking for the human. When he saw it had gotten closer to the female, a low growl rolled off his lips. He had about had it with this annoying human. Even if he wasn't a threat to his potential mate, he had no right to be so close. . Ever gently grabbed the human before taking to the sky. He was tempted to drop the human into the lake but he didn't want to accidentally drown the dude either. The human squirmed in Ever's grip, trying to get away. He had no idea why the human was doing this though, because if he did escape he would go falling into the lake. With a sigh, Ever put the human down close to his family. He did it a little ruffly but didn't hurt the guy. Ever then returned back to the female, once again wondering what he should do. Ever then got close to the female and stretched his neck out, cautiously sniffing her.

+ Urimenor - 1st Person + As the male got closer I flicked my tail between us a bit as my underside was still showing. If he randomly decided to strike there it could easily end up as a fatal injury. Letting out a sigh I preened again, getting Im patient with my feathers; hoping that if I moved them around enough that it will help air them out. I stood up finally and stretched, since I was at my full height now it was easier to size myself next to the male. He was actually a bit smaller than me, but as long as he can meet some standards it will be decent. All I can do is hope that another male will come along. I took off into the air not knowing if the male would follow me or not, I just wanted to head to my cave. I flew over the trees and landed on the flat rocks in front of my cave, it was higher off the ground so I didn’t have to worry about others getting in. I went into the cave to inspect it, making sure nothing happened while I was gone. I sat outside the entrance and just enjoyed the view. I lay there thinking about my father again, I guess visiting one last time before I settled down wouldn’t be a bad idea. Maybe there will be another male there that I could convince to come back with me. ———————————————————— 3rd person She lay there thinking about her father. Naturally a female would stay with their father for protection until a male came along. But she couldn’t handle it all too well. She has fond memories of her father bonding with a human, she basically grew up with the the boy, but he wouldn’t exactly be a boy anymore. He would be an adult now, maybe he even found a mate before she did, wouldn’t that be ironic. That human was probably why she has her view on humans, knowing not all of them are bad. ------------------------------ I am typing this on my phone as we are on our way to another puppy already X-X

Ever Ever jumped back slightly to avoid getting hit by the female's tail. Apparently she didn't like being close? Well that was sad. Ever backed off, watching the female preen her feathers. He then turned to watch the humans. They were leaving now, so that was good. Just then the female stood up, reminding the male that he would always be the smallest no matter which gender he was with. Atleast it wasn't a horrible height difference like it had been with a female before this. When the female took off, Ever quickly followed. As the flew, he made sure to not get to close in fear of her lashing out. He could barely take his brother when he was in this state, imagine if she retaliated. . As the two dragons neared the cave, Ever felt his wing start to act up with pain. It wasn't too bad but it did make things uncomfortable. That why the male was glad when the female landed. Ever landed on the edge of the rocks near the female's cave. He wasn't sure if he was allowed in so he just stood there quietly. When the female layed down, so did Ever. His gaze was fixed on her but his other senses were on high alert just in case. He had to prove to this female that he is worth it. ~~~ Oooh, nice! What breed? + Urimenor - 1st Person + I let out a huff as I didn't exactly know what to do today, I normally had a routine but that kinda got screwed up. Sometimes I would go and collect unique seashells to add to my small hoard. I sighed and thought for a second, the best place to get shells was the coast towards where my father lives. I got up with a grunt, then instead of taking off I just glided off the cliff and headed towards the coast. I wondered if the male would follow this trip as I noticed he was getting wing pain. I brushed it off and continued to the coast. I could handle long distant flights, living in the middle of an ocean all my childhood helped. Once I reached the beach I started looking through the shallows, as that's where the best always hid. I heard roars of fighting in the distance but I chose to ignore it for now. For it could be males or just females, the only way to know would be to check it out. ----------------------------------------------- Sorry it's a bit short, this puppy is exhausting (He is a black labrador retriever)

Ever Ever immediately stood up when the female did. Was it okay to follow? He did as she did and glided off the rocks and into the air. Ugh, why can't we just stay still for a bit? Ever thought to himself with a huff. Despite that thought, the male loved to fly. He just loved they way it felt. And when he was up in the sky, it felt like he was a perfectly normal dragon. Not too small or plain. Still, his poor wing wasn't liking it very much. But he had to prove that he wasn't weak to the female so he followed her all the way. . The farther they went, the less Ever was sure of his plan though. This was new territory to him. He would rarely leave his family's side and therefore didn't know many places. Despite the uneasy feeling in his gut, the male countinued on. Once the female landed, so did Ever. He was glad to be on the ground again so he could give his wing a break. When he heard the fighting nearby, he immediately stiffened and tilted his head to see if he could see what was going on. But the fighting dragons were to far away so Ever turned his attention to the female. She didn't seem bothered by the fighting but it made Ever more uneasy than he already was. Nevertheless, the male realized that the female was looking for shells so he decided to help. . Ever went a bit away from the female and began running his nose through the shallows to look for a shell. After a while his nose bumped into a huge red shell. As he was about to pick it up, a claw reached out and pinched him. Ever jumped back in more shock than pain, sending the crab flying into the distances. He sighed and stood still for a minute, letting his nerves calm down. After he was calm he went back to looking. Eventually the male found a shell. A beautiful one at that. It shone like a diamond in the sun. Ever made sure it was free of any animals and sand before proudly trotting back to the female. Maybe this was the way to win her heart? Ever presented the shell to the female, his head held high. ~~~ Your good ^^ And thanks for understanding. Edited at July 13, 2023 02:18 PM by ~Terebinth Wolves~

+ Urimenor - 1st Person + I noticed that the male managed to follow me, and he even picked up on the fact I was looking for shells. At least he was considerate and tried to help, but while he was distracted he must not have realized he let out a noise of shock. It was entertaining I must admit, and he clearly doesn't know much about the beach dwellers. The fighting in the distance stopped and I could smell the dragons getting closer because they were up-wind of us. They didn't know where we were, just the general direction. He distracted me from the approaching danger by bringing me a crystalized fossil shell. I happily accepted it as I had only ever seen one before and it belonged to a shell-collecting dragon in my father's colony. I picked it up and paused once I heard a foot hit the sand. Panicked, I used one of my secondary eyes to see what type of dragon it was. While my main eyes stayed focused on the small male in front of me. Both the dragons fighting came, and they are clearly not young either. One of them looked like an older male with experience on his back, the other looked younger but more built and larger than the other. They were clearly going at it as they both adorned some scars, they must have thought it was wise to come to check out the sound before continuing. Makes sense, if they were born extremely worn out from the fight another dragon could come out and get rid of them both. They were definitely critical thinkers if that was the case. ------------------------------------------------------------ If you want to you can control the dragons. I might draw what I imagine them looking like, just for fun.

Ever Ever realized the fighting dragons were there far later than he should have. He spun around to face the two...menacing...huge...dragons. The small male gulped, intimidated by the two males. He tried not to show it, but he couldn't help but to shake a little. It was clear that originally the had come to check out the sound, but now their eyes were on the female. Ever lowered his head in an attack pose and let out a snarl, getting their attention back on him. He wouldn't let them take the female away! The younger one snorted, clearly amused at the small feisty male. The two fighting dragons got into an attack pose as well, waiting for Ever to attack first. When he didn't, the younger one jumped in. . Ever used basically the only advantage he had, his speed. He quickly dogded the attack and ran off. Both males relaxed, thinking they had won. But it was quite the opposite really, Ever just didn't tell them that. The small male waited from afar until the males were distracted by the female. Once they were, Ever flew off a seastack he had climbed onto. He picked up as much speed as he could before flying right by the two males. He dipped his wing slightly and since he was above water, he was able yo spray water into the male's eyes. Ever then stopped as fast as he could, turned around and shot the older male in the head as hard as he could. In his thinking, it would be better to take out the oldest/smarter one first before dealing with the younger one. . As soon as Ever's shot was fired, the young male jumped at Ever. The small male once again dodged but barely this time. Apparently the two males decided to work together for this fight because they both aimed a shot at the male at the same time. Unfortunately, Ever couldn't dodge both shots so he got hit in the wing. Pain shot through his body as that had been his previously hurt one. The small male fell into the shallows, and the younger male wasted no time and attacked him. As they wrestled with eachother, Ever felt himself slowly growing weaker. He had to play smarter not harder! Ever wriggled out of the younger male's grip before wracking his brain for an answer of what to do. He just couldn't let them take the female! . Just as the older male was about to fire a shot, Ever spotted a cave. Perfect! Because of his plain coloring, it was pretty hard to see him in the dark sometimes. Especially when he was moving fast. He was also smaller so it was just a timy bit easier to move in caves. If the last attack on his family had taught him anything, it was that he needed to used everything he could to his advantage. Even if it seemed like cheating to other dragons. Ever just barely dogded the shot before running into the caves. The younger one followed him in but the older one stayed out. He knew what the small male was doing and therefore wasn't going to fall into his trap. Once im the cave, Ever easily out maneuvered the younger male and eventually beat him.

+ Urimenor -3rd Person + Startled, Uri took the first chance she got to sneak away and go to her cave. She didn't care who won at this point because when she left it seemed most of the wounds were fatal or deep enough to cause an infection that could kill. With a sigh, she added the crystalized fossil to her collection of shells. Then lay down next to her small hoard, That location where the males fought was going to be a hotspot because 2 males died there. So it may attract the attention of other dragons. She wanted to visit her father alone, so now would be the best time to leave while she has privacy. She buried her small hoard so another dragon wouldn't find it before she flew off, not knowing how long she would be gone from her cave. She reached the coast that would lead her back right before the sun fell. She quickly found herself a rock formation that protruded out of the water to sleep on for the night. When morning rose she was back on her way, She was going to spend most of the day flying; meaning that she would just use an air current and rarely flap unless she needed to. She estimated she would reach the ice colony by lunch.

Ever Ever limped out of the cave, amazed that he was able to beat the bigger male. The male was unconscious right now in the cave but wasn't dead...yet. And even though the small male had won, he still was quite a bit injured. Ever scanned the beach but the female was no where in sight. It was just him and the older male. Ever gulped as the older male glared at him. After a long staring session the older male flew off. Maybe he decided to have mercy on the little run, or maybe he just thought he wasn't worth his time. Either way, Ever would live atleast one more day. The small male looked into the sky with a sigh. The female had probably went home, thinking that Ever was dead. . The sun was slowly but surely setting and Ever was in no condition to fly far so he decided to stay here for the night. But first thing in the morning, he was determined to show the female that he wasn't dead. After a lucky fish catch, Ever found himself in a small cave not far from where he had the fight. He knew it would be a hotspot once word spread but he didn't have enough energy to move farther away. Ever cleaned his wounds before drifting into a restless sleep. "Surely the female will accept me as her mate now, right?" That was the thought that echoed through Ever's mind as he fell asleep.
