Rosa chuckled at the vampire's response to the traffic flow, her eyes of charcoal beaming with amusement. "How strange," her lips coiled into a smirk, "do vampires have the ability to perceive traffic flow? Am I missing something about your kind, boss?" She inquired, although she genuinely was curious. She never had the chance to communicate with vampires. Not to mention their so-called hatred for one another that lasted for centuries. Matter of factly, Rosaline hates anyone who annoys her enough or touches her things without permission. She's met and fought them but never got to speak with them. Her hands moved along the steering wheel, her eyes glued to the road. Rosa only looked away when Mauve changed the coordinates, examining the new address her boss put in. When the golden locks brushed against her leg, Rosa's entire body stiffened, and her nose twitched as it inhaled the jasmine scent. The werewolf's jaw clenched with teeth pressing together immensely. Everything about the vampire was memorizing to Rosa, starting with her looks down to her aroma. It all made her go crazy. She doubted herself, believing that it could be that she was curious to know about other races instead of fighting them. Yes. That could be it. She was excited to meet another race that wasn't her fellow werecreatures. Still, Rosa couldn't help but inhale the scent, drawn to it like a moth to a flame. Without further conversation, she silently followed the directions in the GPS. The drive wasn't long, yet it felt like forever to Rosaline. Being in the same car as the vampire was near unbearable but in a good way. When they arrived at the warehouse, Rosa quickly shut off the car and stepped out. Taking a whiff of the air around them for unfamiliar scents, walking over to Mauve's side of the car and opens the umbrella. She hovers the umbrella over the car door, then opens it for the vampire. With the door no longer in the way of communication, Rosa replied instantaneously, "The area is clear, my lady." The werewolf hovered the umbrella over Mauve's head, her posture composed yet ready for any possible outcome, as a soldier would act with their drill sergeant. She followed Mauve to the warehouse doors, where two other vampires were waiting for them, but as Rosa was about to enter, one of them stepped in front of her. "This is a private matter. Mercenaries aren't welcomed here. . .let alone stray dogs." Rosa snarled, her eyes transfixed on the sunglasses hiding his eyes, resisting the urge to rip his throat out.

The guard at the door who made the comment became still. Even more so than his already undead stillness. The stillness of a creature trapped between a sword and shredding teeth. His breath going jagged and his eyes widened in pain. "Now, now I'll be having non of that. Mr. Harrison." Tssked Mauve the click of her sharp tongue and the smoothness of Mauves voice countered the stillness as her mental claws lazily released his mind as she stepped out of the vehicle. Black boots connecting with the cement as she stood in one fluid movement. carefully minding the umbrella above her. Her normal relaxed but predatorial smile graced her fine features Letting the fact she knew him by name settle into him and the weight of how easily his mind had been caught by her invisible talons. He fought her a bit mentally but eventually he sudsided and rolled over. "Good boy" Mauve drawled making her way over to him at an almost stalking pace. Rolling her angled eyes as his face became red with anger and embarrassment. Having understood the unspoken now who's the dog she hadn't needed to say.
Now up close Mauve had a good five inches on the buff vampire male. Looking down at him she smiled all fangs and promises of death if her job was interfered with. "Play nice out here and keep watch this is gonna be a messy one" she slowly took his sunglasses off momentarily having him blinking in the light. She placed the sunglasses over her own Ruby red eyes. Leaning down a bit as she did and whispered into the now terrified males pointed ear. "Talk down to my staff again and you will find yourself the one strapped to the chair in this interrogation headquarters." With that she straightened and strode towards the doors knowing her new guard would be right behind. Mauve was ruthless and cold at most when it came to going her job effectively and efficiently. So the ancient grudges between clans held no interest to her. Mauves roles as witnesses protection and the lead detective against the major black market in the flesh trade and selling bits and bobs of what ever mythical creature got poached and sold. The trade left no survivors and was one of mauves main missions to eradicate. So petty squabbles about what species was better bored her quickly and a bored Mauve was a dangerous and unpredictable Mauve.

Rosalie watched the whole scene with a shudder running down her spine, yet she was slightly fascinated by how Mauve handled the situation with words alone. She didn't even have to lift a finger to put the man and his place, and she felt envy coursing through her. The corner of the woman's mouth twitched, her charcoal orbs examing Mauve and the vampire who dared to speak ill of her, keeping her emotions in check now that the situation was being dealt with. The only thing that mattered was holding the umbrella at a proper height to not accidentally hit her boss in the head, desiring little to go through what that man experienced. Witnessing such a thing, Rosa doesn't want to be Mauve's next victim. However, another part of her slightly likes being handled like that. Well, not the punishment, of course. More so, the feeling of being controlled by a powerful and beautiful vampire like Mauve. That's what Rosa finds thrilling. Hearing her mind turn against it, same with the pink pigmentation on her cheeks, Rosalie snarls internally at herself to calm down before she steps out of line and enters a situation she can't get out of. The werewolf thins her lips, her eyes never leaving Mauve's figure as she eventually dominated the vampire's mind. She curiously tilts her head upon seeing that, a cocky smirk forming on her lips upon seeing that man who insulted her in a powerless state. It brought joy to her, and she wasn't afraid to show it as she put on an arrogant smirk. "Good boy, indeed. A fast learner too." She jested, her focus going back to her boss. She was obediently quiet while Mauve talked further. With a smug look when Mauve finished speaking, she followed her inside, casing one last glare at the man before looking away in disgust, then pulled a mature way to handle things: she stuck her tongue out at him. Rosalie giggle-snorted at her behavior, a prep in her step for a few seconds before returning to her calm state, acting like she didn't pull such a childish stunt. When it was just them, Rosalie tucked the umbrella away under her arm. "Hmm. Guess I need to find a way to show my gratitude, boss." She tried to sound serious, but with a bit of flirtatiousness in her voice slipped out. Rosa bit her tongue sharply, tasting the blood in her mouth before swallowing it. She swishes her bleeding tongue in her mouth, feeling the wound close up as it healed on its own. "Apologies for my way of speaking. It sort of...slipped out." She muttered once her tongue injury finished healing. She offers Mauve a small smile. [Finally finished B)] Edited at July 28, 2023 09:07 PM by Cereal

Working on my post I'll pm you when it's done Entering Wip 1hr later -In temporary main office at the warehouse- Mauve filed her pointed stiletto of a nail into perfection. She lounged relaxed; one leg over the leather armchair. Which sat perched behind a massive oak desk. Located in the right corner of the medium sized room they dared call an office. Situated in the warehouse her organization was currently calling interrogations headquarters.
