Hondo trekked through the wilderness, looking for any type of prey. No scent came to his nose. He scratched the ground, releasing a faint scent of rabbit. It must have just snowed a couple days ago. But the trail was old, useless to follow. He sniffed the ground scenting another hare, this time fresh. He could see its tracks, so he followed, after awhile he saw 3 rabbits and a couple holes. This must be a rabbit Warren. He creeped slowly forward, coming from downwind they couldnt smell him. He was almost on top of them, he pounced. Snapping one's spine and snapping one's neck. The other's scurried to their burrows. He picked up the two dead hares and trotted back to where his sister was.

Meadow After sent marking about 2 miles of land Meadow started back to where her brother and her were last. Meadow got there first so she just layed down in the snow, letting it mat in her fur. She didnt mind but she decided to clean herself out of boredem. Soon though Meadow looked up to see her brother walking over to her with 2 hares. Meadow got up and walked over to him with a tail wag. "Welcome back brother!" Then with out warning Meadow playfully ripped one of the hares out of her brothers mouth and bolted away, only to return with a grin on her face. Meadow then sat in the snow and dug into the hare's soft hide.

Hondo laughed as she ripped the hare from his mouth, he dropped his nipping her side softly and putting his paw on her back playfully. He then layed down in front of her eating his hare. "Do you think we should look for other wolves or do you think we'll be fine on our own?" He asked licking the snow from his paw, then licking his lips.

Forest Forest laughed at their little play session before eating her hare just like her brother. Then with a mouthfull she answered her brother, "I mean, there's power in numbers but then again like you said they might not be friendly. So what do you want do you think we should do? Because i honestly dont care." Meadow then gulped down her bite before licking her lips. "I wish hare's were more filling," Meadow said looking down at an empty skin of the hare.

"Well we could try to find more wolves, ask to join and if they say..." He was suddenly cut off when he saw two wolves enter the clearing. Angry snarls on their faces. He stood up and got in a protective stance in front of his sister. Snarling and growling he faced the wolves down. "Leave are territory now." Hondo grolwed at the two intruders.

The intruders came closer. "This is our territory snarled the smaller female. "We have a pack of 10 and we will kill you if you dont leave." Added in the male. They smelled like siblings and they had no other pack smell. "Liar." Snarled Hondo. "Now leave before I kill you."

Meadow Meadow let her growl turn into a snarl as the intruders came closer. They said they had a pack but no other wolf smells came off them. Meadow then bumped Hondo and wispered, "They could be help, dont kill them. A mate for both dont you see?" Meadow said this all the while keeping an eye on the intruders.

Hondo let his snarl turn into a low growl. His tail lowered but not all the way. He took a deep breath. Meadow was right. There was a male and female. He nodded to meadow. "We are both loners too, me and my sister, you may join our pack if you'd like?" He asked the intruders. . The male looked at his sister then nodded. "Yes we would." he said. "My name is John and my sister is Anne." He said. Looking Hondo down.
