She is sleeping under my sister's shirt lol

I am a bit sad because she is probably only 3 weeks old. She is so tiny but would probably die if we didn't take her now.

The owner of her mum refuses to spay her and he just throws kittens in a forest if they don't get picked up

He heard the scoff and arched an eyebrow. Was she going to be that way or actually cooperate? Honestly, his patience with her wasn't the greatest so she better listen.

He watched her signal for one moment, noticing she was using a different hand. Her other one was probably on the trigger of her own gun. He would fix that in a minute. Information first, weapons second. He knew he was doing it opposite than what he was taught but he figured that it would be easier to get information from her when she didn't believe he was going to fire on her at any moment.

He took the radio as soon as it was handed to him and studied it. It wasn't built to outlast the Canadian cold. One would think that if the enemy was going to send somebody to spy, they would choose a better equipped radio. He shook his head and tucked the radio away into his own top layer pocket. He would dispose of it later.

"Baby, even if I knew exactly what it was, I wouldn't tell you." He gave her a funny look. Most soldiers knew why they were doing something. Like he was patrolling the border to look out for people like her. How could she not know?

Also, the usuage of baby took him in for a surprise. She did not look the type to use words like baby, hon, honey...definitely didn't seem like the type.

"Hell, it's obvious I was following you, but all I was doing is following orders. They didn't tell me anything else cause there wasn't anything else to know."

Great, following orders. He looked into her gaze with intensity, searching to see if she was lying. He was pretty skilled at reading other humans and telling if they were lying. Maybe that's why he was chosen to do border patrol. If he ran across somebody, he would be better fit to tell if they were lying. Although, he didn't know why he was the only one chosen. Perhaps every base had secrets.

Looking at her, he didn't think she was completely lying but also didn't think she was telling him the whole truth either.

"But you have guesses to why, don't you, honey?" He approached her, daring to get closer and squatting next to her. The word "honey" was used in a mockery sense toward her words. He forced a fake smile,"Why do you think you are following me? And how long have you been following me for?"

Samara studied him as he thought over her answer. She didn't expect him to believe her a little, if any at all. As he squatted next to her, she kept a relaxed and calm demeanor. "Mmhm, I've followed you for a long long time.." she said softly, smirking ever so slightly, "I do have my suspicions, and I know you'd love to hear them, but you're gonna have to work a bit harder for me to tell you." She was surprised he got closer to her, but she'd play into it as well.

Samara was not shy when it came to getting close to people in any type of way. She leaned in closer towards him, her mouth close enough to his ear for her breath to tickle. "Are you gonna work for it?" Her voice was soft and smooth like butter. She gave him back some distance and tilted her head. Mostly her ideas were those that anyone would think of, but she'd also heard talk around camp of what might be going on.

The war was at more of a stalemate and with Canada having been mostly neutral for so long, they were holding out on any kind of attack on the US. However, Samara had heard rumors of a planned attack from the US side, the sources just weren't as reliable as she'd want. She definitely didn't want to be the cause for false information starting something bigger, but she too was curious about what was going on. The idea that the US was planning a big attack was plausible, especially if they were having her spy out a way in. For now though, she'd do her best to keep that information to herself.

The woman must have thought this was a game. It was not. He wanted his information and he wanted out. She seemed to be enjoying this which pissed him off a little.

She made it clear that she wasn't going to cooperate and just tell him. He also wasn't going to raise a fist against her. Keeping things from going messy was the first thing on his mind. The second was that she was a woman. He wasn't going to harm her.

He watched her lean close, trying not to flinch back as she whispered in his ear to work on it. Fibian stood rigid, his eyes narrowing. What was the woman doing? Perhaps, it was an attempt to seduce him. After all, she was a woman and most soldiers wouldn't be able to live with that fact without trying to "date" her. Most of them did go nuts and flirt their way into getting one in bed as soon as they saw one. He, for one, wasn't really interested in that.

Giving a small eye roll, he stoood up once the space between them was back to normal,"Nice try but I'm not the type to fall for that." He sighed and thought for a moment. He decided it wasn't worth it to question the woman over what migh be's.

"Whatever, stand up and spread your legs," He was going to get the weapons from her before radioing in on his end. His radio was built to outlast the cold weather and as long the storm didn't get worse out there.

Samara laughed slightly and shook her head. She knew seduction was always a 50/50 and she expected he had higher morals than that. He was clever and it made things fun even though she played a dangerous game. "Didnt expect you too, babe. Just never hurts to try." She knew all too well what would come next, and she figured it best to just work with him. After all, the weather at the time was too bad to be trying to fight.

"I just don't want to give any kind misinformations anyways," she said with a grin as he gave up. Samara just wanted the war to be over with. She missed the south, where it was hot and humid. Though she never expected to miss the humid part. The air in Canada was so dry and frigid, making her wonder how she was surviving in such weather. Sure, she has went through cold weather training, but it no where near readied her for what she was going through right then.

Samara cocked an eyebrow at his words, as her mind was still in a guttural place. "Mm.. I don't think I'll make any comments on the way that sounded," she said as she stood and did as he said. She had plenty on her, and she knew it would take some searching to find everything. "Be sure to search me up real well," she told him, a more teasing tone to her voice. Samara found him to easy to mess with and she truly wondered how far his patience would go with her.
The wind and snow outside grew even worse and through the cracks in the back door, she could see the snow building up thick over the door. She hoped it was just because of how the back was positioned, as she definitely didn't want to have no way out from the cabin. The life of a prisoner of war was not at all what she wanted.

Fabian was sure her attempt to seduce soldiers could have worked well, if it wasn't him. He knew quite a bit of his "friends" that did cling onto every woman soldier back at base for a chance of a good time. It rarely worked, some of the women soldiers beat them up in response.

He, for one, wasn't into relationships and definitely not building one with the enemy. He waited for her to stand up and arched an eyebrow at her comments. She was still trying despite the obvious signs that it wasn't working.

."Mm.. I don't think I'll make any comments on the way that sounded."

The whole point of not making comments on his words included on not making a comment about making comments. He gave her a stern look, clearly not in the mood. He moved to take off her jacket for her, making sure his hands didn't touch anything but the jacket. She had a lot of layers, it would almost be easier to tell her strip completely. Of course, if he did that, he would never hear the end of it.

"Make yourself useful and remove your other layers and place them on the floor away from you," He instructed, feeling through the pockets of the jacket he had taken off of her. He heard another comment about searching her up good and gave the faintest sound of a snort.

"I will dump ice cold water on you and give you a traditional dirty mouth rinsing out with soap. Control yourself, soldier," He grumbled, pulling out everything from her pockets and setting the jacket off the side. She would have it back once she was clean of everything.

She was definitely prepared for enemy territory, that's for sure. A bit too prepared, speaking that it was only him. The weapons would have most definitely weighed her down as well. It must have been a miserable journey for her, especially since the United States uniform wasn't as warm as his.

"You must have been freezing your ass off, woman," He commented, giving a light chuckle. It did bring him a little satisfaction that she was freezing the whole time. It's no wonder why she followed him even in here. If she had stayed out there, she might have gotten hyperthermia,"Your gear isn't equipped for Canadian storms."

Samara resisted jerking away as he went to remove her jacket. While she knew she was about to be touched, she still didn't like being touched by a stranger. She grumbled something about it being freezing ass cold when he'd gotten her jacket all the way off. She groaned inwardly when he wanted her to take off her other layers. She stripped down and threw her clothes to the side for the time being.

She gave a scoff that sounded a bit more like a laugh at his next words and shook her head, "I'd love to see you try, but it won't be necessary. I'm done with trying to get a rise out of you that way for now at least." A draft blew through the cabin, causing her to tense up and mutter a few more complaints of the cold.
"I still am, so hurry it up if you don't mind," she said with more of a snap to her voice. She hadn't really meant to sound that way, but they couldn't have chose a worse person to go out into the cold. "It's as warm as the bowels of Hell where I come from, so this is not lovely at all," she said as she wrapped her tatted arms around herself. Her skin was a startling pale shade from being so cold and without her other clothes, it didnt make it any better. "I didnt know enough about the weather and apparently neither did my commanding officers," she said, obviously grumpy that they sent her so unprepared.

A rise out of him? The only thing she was doing was irritating him with that type of talk. He wasn't interested, he hadn't been interested in dating for many years. He wasn't going to start now. Besides, talking that way didn't get you dates. Maybe something a bit more temporary....but stilll. Definitely not something he was interested in.

He heard her muttering about the cold and gave the faintest of smirks. He didn't have a reaction to the cold, he was used to it. Besides, he had a nice fire going upstairs. For now, he felt safer knowing she was freezing. Cold people tended to have colder reactions to things.

So he took his sweet time transitioning to the other layers. That was the best part, now it was his turn to annoy her. The snap from her made him arch his eyebrows again but yet work any slower. He really didn't want her to get comfortable here. Of course, he wanted her to return back to his base in one peace as well. The General can deal with her and get the information they need out of her.

"This is the Alaskan border, your team should have known to pack you warmer stuff. The United States surely knows how cold Alaska is," Alaska was their territory after all. It was the closest thing he had to compare Canada to. He moved onto the next layer, searching through it and pulling everything out. He would dispose of it when he did the radio. She ddn't need any of the weapons she had.

"Did they expect you to battle the cold with daggers?" He sneered in mockery, moving through the layers a bit faster now. He didn't want to press annoyance too far with the woman. Besides, he really needed to radio this in.

"Okay, stand with your feet apart," He cleared those layers and turned back to her. His gaze studied her for a moment, noticing the pale skin and the tattoos briefly. It wouldn't hurt to double check for frostbite. He held out his hands for her to take,"And let me see your hands real quick."

Samara should have known she would get karma for annoying him as she had, but she couldn't help it. It was just the way she was on the job. The fact that he had a grouchy like response to everything she tried was honestly amusing and is what made her try harder, but at that point she was too cold and too tired. "Believe me, I know," she said with an irritated sigh, "They'd give me all the weapons in the world, but I'll be damned if they ever gave me thermal underwear at least."

Sure, she may be a part of the US military, but it didn't mean she wouldn't have a few choice things to say about their methods. "The blizzard is getting pretty bad out.. Are you even sure you'll be able to get through to your people?" She was quite serious and mildly concerned. She knew that a blizzard was supposed to occur, but it wasn't supposed to have been that bad by any means.

Samara stood as he had asked and waited for him to finish before returning to a lax position. She looked at his hands hesitantly before placing hers in his. His hands were a good deal warmer compared to hers, which were like ice and red in color. Her finger tips held the slightest tinge of purple, but she hadn't began to experience any kind of numbness yet.

It felt odd hearing an enemy soldier gripe about her own people. On the other hand, it was a little humorous. At least they both knew how horrible base was to her. Not only did she not need all those weapons but they also weighed her down, making her movements probably slow especially in the snow that was already on the ground

"The blizzard is getting pretty bad out.. Are you even sure you'll be able to get through to your people?"

He paused a little in surprise. He hadn't mentioned radioing this in to her. He planned on doing it in private without her knowing. Of course, that beat the point of doing it in private. Once he was sure she was unarmed, he would call in. He needed to inform him of the current circumstance anyway. And she was right, the storm was getting bad. He could feel the cold through every corner of the house.

"Everything will be fine," He insisted with more confidence than he was truly feeling. He needed to radio this in as soon as possible.

He shivered at the sensation of her cold hands. They were significantly colder than his and his were still cold from the outdoors as well. He shifted his palms so hers were more in the center of his. He gave them a good look over, noticing the purple fingertips. He let go of one of her hands to put both of his hands around the other of hers. He clasped his hands together around her one to start to warm it up quicker.

"You need to be careful. Long term exposure to the cold isn't a good thing," He warned her and brought their hands to his lips to huff some warm air into them. His focus was to warm up her hand just a little more. After a few minutes, he switched to the other, repeating the same process.

"Any numbness? Pain?" He questioned in between huffs, his gaze finding hers again. She may be the enemy but she still deserved to be cared for properly. He wasn't going to let her get frostbite just because her commander was foolish enough to send her out here unprepared.

Samara didn't mean to dog her own base, but in all truthfulness, she was highly unprepared and now, she was weaponless in the midst of a war. She had noted the soldiers look of surprise and she smiled weakly. "Don't look so surprised, baby. I was more than aware my fate the moment you discovered me," she shook her head a bit. Of course he was going to call it in. It was his job and she was the enemy, so it couldn't not be addressed. She wasn't sure if she believed they'd be alright, but then again he knew how the weather would be better than she since it was his homeland.

Samara was a bit surprised herself to see his concern for her hands. She figured he wasn't heartless, she just hadn't expected him to care as much. She allowed him to warm up her hands, which was just about pure bliss. She relaxed, thankful that the cold was beginning to leave her hands as much as it could. "I didn't figure as much. I lost my gloves in a battle with wind a while back if I'm being completely honest," she admitted with a hint of shame to her voice. She sighed softly as he blew onto her fingers. Little shock waves shot up her hand at the feeling as she regained a bit more feeling. Though she hadn't lost feeling completely, she knew it was beginning to happen. "No numbness at the moment, just a pins and needles feeling in my fingers," she told him as their gazes met. Even though she'd acted a fool at first, he was still looking after her.
