Kora watched Chandler, looking more annoyed than anything. "As much as I hate to say it" she started with a cold growl, "you are unfortunately a guest here, and she had no right to attempt to start a fight." Her eyes were narrowed as she watched him. When he mentioned needing pants, she couldnt help but roll her eyes. *And this is just another reason we dont fighting* she thought before he handed her the keys. "I wouldnt want your scent all over me" she said as she made her way out to his car. Once Kora grabbed his suit, she made her way towards the bathroom and hung the suit on the door frame before she knocked. She made sure they car keys were in the pocket before she walked away to check on Amara. When she got to Amara's floor, she walked in and saw Amara getting into her dress. "You look just as beautiful as your mother did" she said as she made her way over to the young Luna. Kora started to help Amara with her hair, curling it, pulling half of it up. A small smile was seen on Amara's face before Kora looked at the time. "It's almost time" she said with a sigh. Kora hadnt realized how long it took to do Amara's hair. Kora sent out a mass text to everyone, avoiding Amara being in the chat. *Is everyone ready* she asked before she lead Amara down stairs and towards the backyard.

To her last remark he laughed. As if he wanted her to smell like him. He waited impatiently and when he heard the knock he gave a sigh of relief and grabbed it. It wasn't white like the other one. This one's color scheme was much more ominous. With black ad the main color, and a deep blood red for the undershirt amd accents. In the mirror he fixed his hair so it wasn't in his face as much. He kept the black shoes and added another layer of badage. *I don't know what your worried about, it'll be healed before the night is over* he rolled his eyes. "Me, covered in the scent of blood, here. That doesn't soundbite the smartest thing Menadite." He kept his voice low and left the bathroom looking fresh and cleaned. He grabbed his original suit, keeping the flask and went outside. With his keys that where in the pocket he opened his car and put the tatered suit in and locked it up before making his way back around. . He was still getting glares and looks which was to be expected. Especially with a wardrobe change. He had already decided this place was only as interesting as its scenery which wasn't all that bad, mostly trees. He kept wandering till he found a bridge and stood there, waiting. He knew some of the other guests, but mearly threw others. Here he was alone, and hated. He thought back to the one who had wanted to fight in the first place. "If the rising Luna won't speak to me, then I'm certain she will." He had he checked his watch to see if he had time. "It appears not." Making his way back he could the decorations where up, and everyone on their phones. Looking over a shoulder they where all talking to each other. Typical. This hole place, in a hurry to wait. Leaning against a banister, the sun had begun to set, almost time for the ceremony. Edited at April 11, 2022 02:47 PM by AppleBottomJeans

A pack elder made their way towards the flowered alter that was put together and stood tall. "Today is normally a day of celebration, abd while I wish it was true, we know the real reason we are celebrating early" he said. He motioned for Amara to make her way forward, and she heard the whispers and gasps of other who saw her dress. It was dark blue, floor length. It hugged her figure nicely and had silver trim along with a sparkly fabric that sat from her hips down. The elder spoke again. "Young Luna Amara took the position of Luna much too young, but she has done her job well. The pack couldnt be more pleased with her" he said with a smile. "While she was forced into the role, we all agreed the ceremony would wait until just before her 18th birthday, giving a mix of her birthday and the Luna Ceremony." He faced Amara and had her hold out her right hand. "Dearest Amara, do you promies for fullfill your role as Luna as you have the past few years, to keep the pack safe" he asked. Amara helf her head high as she listened the the elder before she nodded. "I do" she said, loud enough for the pack and guests to hear her. The elder took out his blade and cut her hand before a single drop of blood landed in the chalace that all the Alpha's and Luna's of Blooth Thane Pack used before her. With that, the pack elder spoke again. "Blood Thane, I present to you, Luna Amara!" Amara heard a few cheers and claps before she watched them start to dispurse towards the food and drinks. Her eyes scanned the people before landing on a certain someone she wished had never shown face. Biting back a growl she made her way towards the large fountain that was in the backyard and sat down with a sigh.

He followed from a good ways back, blending in with the darkness that quickly enveloped the scene. Choosing a seat in the back behind the other guests, he saw as the lights turned on slowly, leading up to the alter and chalase decorated in ornate floral patterns all the way around. With the challenge having gemstone in-beds that reflected the light, giving the woods a fascinating shimmer. He focused by fiddling with his watch as the old man spoke. As he held his hand out she walked passed him. Her deeply rich due floor length dress almost glowed as the silver detailing sparkled on cue as she walked down eloquently. He could get a good view of her. The hair done cleanly and tidy, combined nicely to the delicate flow of her dress. He listened intently to the old man's praise of the young Luna, doubtful if she was worthy of such a title to begin with. Leaning forward *Forced? That's That's odd choice of words.* He got an uncomfortable feeling, knowing it was his parents fault. His blood began to boil but still he sat. He looked at her hand as she raised it, seeing the confidence in her movement. He listened to him as Menadite mocked him internally. Under his breath he couldn't help but shut him up. "Look, for once, hold your tongue." He kept it quiet as to not disturb anything. Him being there was enough to raise everyone's tensions. With her back turned to all except the alter man he listened to the crystal clear voice that sprung an 'I do'. His head turned as the man pulled up the chalase and a knife. *Now this, this is good.* He got a smile on his face as her hand bled into the cup, smelling her blood from that far back he couldn't help but inhale it sharply, picking all of the different smells it gave off. The man finally finished with a loud shout, putting all of his stuff down, a signal for everyone to move about. He sat for a second longer, just watching as everyone dispersed to the buffet table. *pigs*. He pulled out his flask and shook it. "Empty." He gave a huff and put it back, feeling watched. He turned and saw the tail end of the dress slip away, alone, into the backyard. Raising an eyebrow he went the long way around to follow. He saw her sitting on the edge of the fountain. He slowly walked up till he was on the opposite side of the fountain. "Shame to find you in your lonesomeness." He chuckled standing with the water between them. Amara let the sound of the fountain take over as she closed her eyes. She heard chatting in the distance of the pack and those who were invited here. She heard a couple of them mentioning being mates and shook her head. It was one of her pack females and a male she didnt recognize. *Great. Another member leaving* she thought before her eyes slowly opened. Amara spotted a figure on the other side of the fountain and recognized his face. Her eyes narrowed as she stood up. "Came to finish what your parents didnt" she stated coldly. Her fist was clenched as she watched for any sudden movements he might make. *Why did he even bother showing up? He knew the pack wouldnt be too pleased with his arrival* she thought. How she wished she was 18 already to have her wolf. Hell, she couldnt even communicate to the others yet with the mind links. Her blue eyes remained locked on the male, her feet killing her due to the heels Kora decided to give her for the night. *If he tries something, there is no way I can defend myself* she thought. And usually Alpha fights, none were suppose to jump in to help their alpha or luna for that matter. She knew she wouldnt be strong enough against someone who had their wolf already.

He stood, listening. Making sure he didn't overstep, but also assuring she didn't step up to him. His weight shifted to his left, now his right leg was empty. He finally moved the hair from his eyes, figuring he would give her that basic respect. One he didn't even give most of his pack. He could see from her silhouette she was irritated, or sore. When she stood up he jumped on top of the cement lining, balancing in the dark suit. *she looks annoyed* he didn't bother replying to Menadite, the stubborn wolf he is it would have been pointless anyways. "I guess, though that of course depends on your definition." He hesitant with his answer. He didn't like what his parents did, seeing as he is only 4 and a half years older then her he wasn't involved in the attack. It clearly didn't matter to her though, he heard her hatred and resentment. Cold. He didn't want to get closer just yet; he would rather wait. And stand there on the cement a foot above the ground. He could practically see her poor mind racing. Her eyes darting frantically. Still like a child. *just say something, or move. Stop being a creepy dumb ass.* a low growl of annoyance from his chest. Menadite, shut your trap. If I need you, you'll be the 1st to know. Unfortunately he did have a point. Slowly, step by step he made his way closer to the new Luna. He jumped down to get closer to her eye level. He reached his hand from his pocket, empty. "I know you hate me, from my lineage that's reasonable. I too resent, and regret the actions of my parents." He held out his hand for a handshake, skeptical if she would even return it. Edited at April 12, 2022 08:39 PM by AppleBottomJeans

Amara didnt move, but she knew her form gave away how she felt. She was worried he would kill her like his parents killed hers. She took a step back when he came closer to her, not trusting the male before her. When he said it depended on her definition, she bit back a growl. She didnt like the way he had said that. Her mind went to her join her parents and leaving the pack without and Alpha or Luna to lead them. She glanced back to see if her pack noticed, but it seemed they were all busy eating. *Acting like they dont eat like this on a normal basis* she thought. She had made sure that since her parents died, she found a great place to deliver food a couple times a week for the pack to eat like this. Amara tensed up more when he pulled out his hand, making it obvious that she didnt trust him. She didnt know what he had in his hand until she saw it was empty. She looked at him hesitantly, not sure she could trust him about any of this. "You say you regret what they did, yet you didnt even bother reaching out, or trying to stop them" she growled. Amara felt like turning away, making her way back to the others to feel safe. Her blue eyes remained locked on him. *Why would he say he regrets it if he didnt reach out or anything like that* she thought.

She was very clearly not in the mood which aggravated him. He knew he shouldn't take it personally, but he did. Her tone, posture, and scent all told him the same thing. She hated him, and everything he believed in. He pulled his hand back and shifted his weight to lean away from her; giving her some more space. He followed her eyes back to the rest of the group and then looked at her. Menadite, this is pointless. *I told you so, didn't I* he scoffed, now determined to prove him wrong he sat on the cement two feet from her. She made a sound as she spoke. Like she was scolding him. He wanted to raise his voice but knew he had to keep the others from coming over so he kept himself in check. "I'm not that much older then you, you do know that? What could I have done? Hm? As a child where I come from you shut up, and arnt to be seen or heard till summoned. I have wanted to come, apologize for my parents grueling, harsh actions. Unfortunately you've proven me right that it would have been better to just do nothing, say nothing." He could feel his temperature rising as his blood boiled. "Why apologize to someone who doesn't care to hear it? I know you will never forgive them. But I'VE done nothing to you." He rubbed between his eyes with one hand and griped the cement of the waterfountain with the other. *She doesn't understand you, boy. Nothing you say is ever going to be even worth building on.* He couldn't help but believe him. He stayed seated. "My parents died 2 years ago, they have nothing to do with how the current pack is run, all of their advisors have been replaced by my handchosen few." He looked up at her, taking another look at the dress, up close. "I'll stay the night, drive home in the morning after I've slept." He let his voice go back to a calm whisper, partially giving up. "Then I'll be out of your well done hair." Standing up he started walking away slowly. Edited at April 13, 2022 02:30 PM by AppleBottomJeans

Amara crossed her arms as she listened to him. "While you might not be much older than me, you still could have done something. Perhaps beg them to NOT attack another pack who did nothing to them?!" Her blue eyes seemed to darken a bit with the anger. She didnt know why he thought to apologize now. When Amara heard him mention his parents died a couple years ago, she rolled her eyes. "Yet you still never reached out for anything. You wait until now to even bother saying anything. Why should I believe that you even are sorry" she asked before she shook her head. She rubbed her arm out of frustration, pulling up her sleeve slighting revealing a couple of scars that were from wolves teeth and claws. Amara turned away when she felt tears leaving her eyes. Sure, it sounded like he might be telling the truth, but she was too scared to trust him. In the back of her mind something told her to trust him, and she didnt know what it was. "If you actually mean that you are sorry, fine, stay, but if I find out you are lying, I will make sure you regret ever coming here" she said before she stormed off into the house, locking herself in the nearest bathroom.

Her blatant disregard of anything he said and being met with pure skepticism was truly starting to piss him off. He kept his tone low. "Those who voiced against it disappeared." He remembered his aunt saying something and her bkdy being found the week after the attack. "And as a child, it's foolish to think anyone would listen anyways." Her crossed arms assured him his words had been falling on deaf and unwilling ears. Her lack of understanding his situation, inability to have an adult conversation, and stubborn behavioral him feel like he was talking to wither himself or a brick wall. "Of course I didn't. After years of silence and an unwilling to communicate what was I supposed to do? Send an apology note, show up out of the blue and get myself mauled to death? Till now there hasn't been a proper opening for us to even meet, let alone discuss a fragile matter such as this." When she lifted her sleeve he saw the scars. He closed his eyes and looked away, both out of disgusting and empathy. The same marks lay on his back. When he went to look back he only heard the brisk pace of footsteps away, and heard sniffling. Her comment though a jab at what he believed was his integrity rang in his ears. *And what can one without a proper wolf do?* Menadite grew loud, sparing with himself in an argument with no one. Hearing a door slam he was left by himself. He looked at the food and only decided to refill his flask and go on the bridge. "An apology for something I had nothing to do with met with a distasteful hatred. How ironic." He laid down on the old wood and gazed up, the water below not allowing the growth of trees in the pond opend up the sky. The stars keeping him company put him to sleep.
