Carwen had docked at the small village, as she'd made peace with the "lord" of the town. As Carwen was known for her charm, it was okay for her to dock without hiding it most of the time. Though her crew were hardly welcomed anywhere, so she was the distraction while her crew stole. Little things of course, so it would be pegged on the mischevious boys that ran about the town. Carwen strutted off her ship wearing an off the shoulder white blouse and a soft pink dress on top. She had touched up the makeup and fixed her hair from earlier. Now, she looked even more innocent and bubbly than before, her smile charming anyone that looked at her. Truthfully, her tall boots hid two razor sharp knives, she was as dangerous as she was innocent. Carwen skipped through town, by herself to trick others into believing that the infamous pirate was actually buying something for once. The coin bag at her side clinked as she hopped around, covering the whispers of the towns folk who were spreading the news of the she-devil through the town.

As they rowed in, the ship that was docked in the port drew Magdalene's attention. It was another pirate ship, and based on the type... Although the two had never met face to face, there had been many small battles with the She-Devil's ship. It would be perfect, Magdalene decided. Her crew could blend in with the crowd while the town focused on the other group. They stored their boat secretly, and went ashore. Her pirates blended in well, and with her cloak up, Magdalene did as well. Her scars and eye were dead giveaways, though, so she kept her head down.

Carwen did not fit in at all with the crowd, she stood out among many of the other pretty faces. Perhaps it was the fact that all the other radiant women her age had a worn look about them, like time had taken an edge off their innocent sparkle. Then there was Carwen, who radiated innocence and warmth. Her rose gold eyes drifted from stand to stand, and as she hopped around, asking the vendors about their wares, her people snuck in, blending in with practiced ease. Every vendor Carwen approached sunk back, offering her discounts on their supplies if only to get the pirate away from them. Carwen didn't seem to care, though she definitely noticed, she made no move to show off that she knew exactly what they were thinking about her. The half pixie just 'minded her own business.'

Magdalene was sly, sneaking not food or supplies, but riches. Her crew was in charge of purchasing (and stealing) the supplies needed. There was a dark glimmer to Magdalene - one of trickery and malice, with pure joy laced in. She was cold, yet so firey with passion. A few times Magdalene noticed the pink and bright woman. While some may be fooled by the cover of innocence and childish foolery, the She-Devil's truer nature was shown on her ship. The woman was very deserving of her name. Magdalene wasn't afraid of her by any means, but this was not the time for a fight.

Carwen's crew slunk around, stealing with practiced ease. They also noticed the other thieves amongst them, causing alarm to spread through the ranks. Carwen's crew was by no means afriad, they all had dealt with much worse than other pirates or thieves, but they were awfully surpised. It meant that someone would eventually notice things were going missing because the two crew had the same thing in mind, riches. Carwen was mildly aware of the other thieves, though not nearly as much as her crew was. The woman was much to busy being a perfect distraction to really concentrate on all the happenings.

Magdalene had taken two of the newer members of the ship with her, with the others having been on the ship for a while. Her purpose for taking two newbies was to get them used to this atmosphere and how to think on their feet. If things went south, the plan was to grab everything they could and run to the boat. If someone wasn't there in thirty seconds after three people arrived, than that person is left behind, at least for a little while. The next step for the person left behind was to go to a tell tree, pointed out while still on the ship, without attracting attention. From there they could pick up the pirate again. - After a while, Magdalene was alerted that they had the supplies needed. In order to not draw attention to themselves, the crew members slipped away one by one, Magdalene waiting for last, as she wasn't carrying anything necessary for the ship.

Carwen was just about to finish up her distracting when the loud shout cracked through the previously muffled talk. "A thief!! A pirate thief!! Don't let them get away!" The square erupted into chaos, most heading for Carwen as she was the well known pirate captain of The Poisoned Rose. The pixie's quick thinking was what saved her from getting captured. She had been practically pinned against a house, brandishing her dagger to keep the crowd back. She looked around and finally figured out a way out. Her rose gold eyes narrowed as she used her abilities that were gifted to those with faerie blood. She turned and faced the wall, sprinting up the vertical wall for two large steps before pushing off, doing a little flip, and landing on top of one of the market stalls. Carwen jumped down and began to run, doing her best to avoid the guards that seemed to be appearing from everywhere.

Magdalene almost slipped away unnoticed. Almost. Then, a pale pink blurb ran straight into her, knocking the wind out of her, as well as her hood down. With Magdalene's eye and scars a dead giveaway to her identity, the village quickly turned on her too. Trying to be invisible was no longer working, and it was likely her crew was already at their little boat. She'd have to meet them by the tall tree... but first she'd have to loose the people. Magdalene quickly looked around, and darted off towards an alley.

Carwen unfortunately knew immediately who the woman was that she ran into. It that other female pirate, who was known for her cunning and strength. The crazy one basically. Not that Carwen thought that was a bad thing, she respected the other female pirate. But why the hell did she have to be in the town the same day Carwen was? It made everything much harder to deal with. Of course, as great minds think alike, Carwen had ran down the same alley Magdalene had. Which made the crowd continue their chase. "This sucks," Carwen muttered under her breath. She wanted to say much more violent things but she supposed that would not help the current situation.

Magdalene looked at the small woman running beside her, "Hell yeah it sucks," she grumbled. She had checked out the alley already, and knew that as soon as they turned the corner, there was a stack of crates, and two directions to go down. In order to have any chance at loosing the crowd, they have to hide. Magdalene, regrettably, also knew the other pirate would need to hide as well, or else they'd suspect something. What it would be?... Magdalene wasn't sure, but people always figured out something. As soon as they turned the corner, Magdalene grabbed the pirates arm in a vise-like grip and yanked her behind the crates. She immediately crouched down to blend into the shadows, and pulled the other with her, "Sh!" She warned, listening for the crowd.
