Tristan sighed as they walked through the halls, wishing he could just leave. To all the other angels, he and Adina had to appear as perfectly happy to be marrying demons, instead of utterly miserable.

Echo and Ajax continued to glance at each other, not at all happy with what was happening. They walked out of the complex, ready for the wedding, following the Head Angel and Demon.

Tristan headed after everyone into a huge building that had been prepared for the wedding, and started looking for his family among all the angels on one side of the room.

Echo stalked into the building, her head raised high as she walked to the front. She noticed her parents and brother, and sent them a glare. Ajax walked slowly to the front, not looking at anyone.

Tristan stood near the front, looking at his feet. He couldn't bear to look the demon in her eyes, and he didn't want to see Adina. He knew she'd be shaking and sad. He could feel the ring in his pocket, and a scowl crossed his face.

Echo looked forward, not letting anyone see the pain that shook her mind. The heads made her stand next to Tristan, and she tensed, noticing the scowl cross his face. She knew that it wasn't because of her exactly. It was because of they situation they were in. {Real quick, what are we planning to do with this romantically? Like, we still doing Angel x Demon?}

Tristan sighed, and straightened, waiting as the heads blabbed on about random stuff and unity. (Yeah, they'll just get dragged into it kicking and screaming XD)

Echo glanced around annoyed as the heads talked and preached on and on. Sighing when they were told to face their future partner, Echo turned to look at Tristan. {Lmao yes XD}

Tristan bit his tongue to keep from making ugly faces, and slowly let his face slip into a neutral look. He barely heard the heads say to exchange rings, but he handed the demon hers, unwilling to put it on for her.

Echo gave the angel his ring, slipping the ring he gave to her on her left ring finger, clenching her jaw. She wasn't going to lie, the ring was gorgeous, but this wasn't what she wanted. Not who she wanted.
