I came to a near stop, "Nightmare is logical and understanding, she won't get mad at you for misunderstanding. But yes, I will avoid telling Forest, and I will let Nightmare know too" I said then smirking, "I caught your little mess up there, but unfortunately, she is currently not in any shape. There is a reason I made this food run so quick," I said quickly running off to get back to Nightmare. She looked released when I returned but then stress hit her when she saw the mark on my neck.

"What happened,"

"I had a run-in with Azul but we came to an understanding after I explained myself," I said reassuring her and she relaxed. She ate so quickly, I wouldn't be surprised if she got hiccups. I sat down around her and the eggs, I was happy and just couldn't believe they were mine.

I nodded and watched Zier run off. I was a bit embarrassed though since Zier caught my mess up. After a smile appeared on my face i headed back to Forest. It was about noon when i got there since i had taken my time. When i put down the meat i let out a greeting call, Forest ran to me and nuzzled me so passionatly. I nuzzled her back with a smile before speaking, "Sorry about last night and this morning. I just needed to cool down, but im fine now." I then picked up the meat and gave it to her, "Here, i got this for you." She quickly ate it up, faster than i could of guessed before nuzzling me again. I laughed before escorting her back into the cave, into the nest and onto the eggs. Soon we were snuggling, happy as can be. Before i had time to talk she fell asleep so i just curled myself around her before falling asleep too.

I smiled at Zier, I knew he would be a great father, I just wished the humans would leave us alone. It would make both of our lives so much easier.

Little did Nightmare know, they planned on it. They weren't going to intervene. Just observe, they turned it into an experiment on what would happen if they just let these raptors live as they wanted without human control. They were still going to bring Jack in to let him be the one to observe and report.

I had slept the the whole day away and the sun was staring to set when i woke up to a very uncomfortable feeling. I nudged Azul, he groaned a bit but looked at me with sleep in his eyes. "I- i can feel the eggs growing! Azul, it feels so weird!" He chuckled before speaking, " We tamed raptors are modified to have the eggs grow quicker. Apparently ive spreaded it to you. Sorry for the feeling though, i forgot to warn you. Thats why i was surprised when we did it." He then nuzzled me, hoping to confort me a bit. I nuzzled him back but i still hated the feeling.

When i layed my head back down Azul spoke, " I was thinking, we should move. The humans are watching us 24:7 believe it or not and i thought it would be good to move. If its alright with you i was planning to try to dig one sometime tomorrow." I was surprised but it sounded like a good idea. "Sure but isnt there an easier way?" "Im afraid not unless Zier or Nightmare show me another nesting site." I sighed at this answer, both because i wished there was another way and because it had been a whole day or more without seeing her. I shook my head and smiled at Azul, " Sounds good but for now lets rest." He nodded before we cuddled up again. This time i didn't press into him like i would've normally done but he didn't seem to mind. Soon though i was sleeping peacefully, dreaming about my future brood and the young to hatch.

I sat with the eggs, they should be hatching any day now. I haven't been able to see Forest or Azul in a bit either, Zier says they have been doing well. His back healed up nicely too.

Jack started visiting, but all he did was watch. Zier let him get close enough to apply ointment to his wound to prevent it from getting infected. The fact Zier let him get close made me laugh.

One of the eggs moved, and I quickly turned to look at it. they would occasionally turn on their own, but this was different. I made a clicking noise and the eggs started to repeat it back, I got excited. I immediately called for Zier to come, and hurry. Before I knew it he was there and looked panicked then his expression turned to joy. We sat and watched as 11 out of the 15 eggs hatched.

"Those 4 haven't done anything," He said

"They aren't clicking back either, they must be duds," I said and he took them smashing them and letting the hatched ones eat them, "They weren't even fertilized, but that's normal. There is bound to be at least 1 in every clutch," I said, not seeing any sign of life in them.

It had been forever since i had been outside or seen Zier and Nightmare so naturally i wanted the eggs to hatch. The first thing i would do once the eggs had hatched and all was good was to find Nightmare i told myself many times as i sat on the eggs. I planned to stick with it to but for now i was stuck here. I had layed eight eggs so with the eight and the ten i had to warm a whole eighteen. It can be hard to sit on that many eggs but just Azuls smile and thinking about Nightmare pulled me through. We had moved to a new nest just a little time before i had layed my eggs and it was a very good den. Hidden and out of site. I was glad we moved because according to Azul the humans had been observing Nightmare and Zier. Sitting on eggs changes you though so i probably wouldve attacked the humans in a heartbeat but luckily everything was perfect.

Just then i felt a small shake of an egg under me. I looked under me but it was just a false alarm. The eggs have been doing that lately and to be honest it was getting anyyoning. I sighed before getting comfortable. Soon Azul came in with my daily feeding. The humans had given him something so that he too could go wherever, whenever. I happily ate the meat as Azul spoke, " Have any of the eggs hatched yet? They ahould be soon and im just so excited!" I laughed before shaking my head no. Azul seemed a little sad but nevertheless came over and sat by me and the nest. I had to admit i had grown to likw it here and planned and staying here forever.

I stood up and stretched, and most of them started squawking a bit when I did so. I watched the one we named Devil's Rose, or Rose for short, completely ignore me and walk up to Zier.

"Looks like she's gonna be a daddy's girl," I said with a laugh "She got both of our cat colors completely mixed up, see she even as my eye mark. None of the others have it!" I said excitedly. Then I turned my head to Ghost, he happened to look a lot like my father.

"Look's like we also have a mommy's boy," He then said laughing as Ghost rushed to my side. Then all of them did,

"I suppose they are hungry, would you mind going and getting food Love?" I asked

"Of course," he said nuzzling me and carefully making his way out. All they did was watch and stick by me, they probably wouldn't play for the first few days. They did just come into the world, they have to process it a little first.

As me and Azul were cuddling i felt a push like nothing i felt before. I then looked under me and saw a little greenish head stare back at me. Azul however was quite confused so he got up. Just then the little head let out a tiny roar, yawn thing. Azul practically jumped as he ran out of the den saying, "Ill get food! And name them something good will ya?!" I laughed before moving off to the side of the nest. By now the little one was out of the shell and trying to stand up to reach me. I took a deep breath before relaxing. "Alright, this one is a boy." Just then i noticed he had a deformed arm. I was instantly glad the humans weren't in control anymore otherwise he wouldve been the first to go. He then got up and walked over to me but tipped over as he got to me. I smiled before speaking, "Ill name you Tip."

I quickly made my way to the enclosure gate, my heart pounding. Just then i crashed into Zier. "Zier! Im so sorry!" I said out of breath as i got up. Not because i had been running but because of the pure excitement of the new hatchlings.

"Woah, slow down," I said laughing and coming to a slow stop. "Why are you in such a rush?" I said going into a trot and urging him to trot next to me.

I let myself catch my breath before going into a trot next to Zier. I wanted to go faster but i managed to slow myself. "The eggs Zier! One of them hatched! I must get food for them!"
