Sloane wacked Kanu on the shoulder, and turned around to face the correct way on Gryphem's back. "Heading down," she said dryly. The griffin immediately tucked his wings in close, and dove down. Sloane couldn't help but grin - she loved the feeling of flight more than anything else in the world.

Kanu released a "hmf" when Sloane wacked him, but said no more. The main reason was because he didn't like being not in control of the flight. A dragon shifter riding another flying being was definitely not supposed to be comforting, and he was pretty sure it never happened. That was probably why he felt as if he might throw up at any second.

Gryphem was fast, and seconds later he was slowing, and gracefully landed on the forest floor, a little ways from the castle, "Shoo," Sloane made a waving gesture with her hand, "Time for you to get off. The dinner is in two days, so make sure you have a plan, and leave the killing to me."

A frown appeared on Kanu's face, like an upset child. He slowly hopped off and merely said, "I'll leave the killing to you but if you screw up I am so going to.. I don't know what I'm going to do but I assure you it will be the worst torture for you. Like...being forced to talk to me all day or something." Kanu winked, the trees casting twisted shadows on his face. "Goodbye Princess," he grinned and skipped away, taking his time as to annoy Sloane just a little more.

that was supposed to be an exclamation mark -_- my foolish fingers on the phone. ts to the dinner is perfect :))))) - Sloane dressed up for once. Well, dressed up in her standards. Sloane didn't wear many dresses, deeming them impractical for her way of travel and lifestyle. There was a light brown under layer, a long sleeved and plain dress, and over it, was a deep red dress, tied at the waist with a pretty belt. Sloane would never admit to a single soul that a dress was comfortable, but it wasn't as bad as she thought it would be. The poision was in a hidden pocket, tucked away in the folds of the dress. She was ready to kill.

The day had progressed rapidly. Kanu woke up at around noon, as he was still recovering from his near death experience and his body refused to wake up any earlier. After a peaceful lunch, Kanu disappeared into his room for a long time, and came out completely drunk. Like any mortal would be dead sort of drunk, and wobbled through the hallways literally screaming that he was going to the nearby tavern. It worked like a charm, as soon the maids were running around, telling each other about the shifter roaming in the halls, towards the garden to take flight and leave. His advisers basically acted as if they didn't know him, and they definitely didn't want to know him. Kanu went to the garden, where a few terrified maids scurried away from the powerful immortal and watche as he flew off to the tavern. And soon the rumor was spreading through the halls that Prince Kanu wasn't going to attend any sort of dinner, because he was out partying at the tavern. Probably flirting with any mortal in his near vicinity. And Kanu really was doing just that.
