Amika
Amika's eyes widened, "why? Why would you care? Nobody else does. No one except Iris who only told me to be stronger, to outgrow her strength in both body and mind. No one should care since it's not their problem, thats what Iris said." Ami tried to make it sound like she didn't care. But she did.

Ribs didn't have any pity in his gaze, as he could feel she wouldn't want that. Not any annoyance, or exasperation. Instead, his gaze was compassionate. "Everyone has a right to voice their opinions, and I enjoy hearing what others think." He said softly, unsure how to put it.

Amika
"That's very kind of you." Ami said, her voice thankful and also slightly less worried. She was already warming up to Ribs, her blue eyes brighter than they once had been. Though no hint of a smile appeared on her lips. The shadows played with her facial expression and her dragon was moving yet not.

"I'll let you sleep." Ribs said softly as he opened the door, with a small wave, he exited the room. In the other room, he found Rainbow gingerly looking at the little girl, murmuring soothing things.

Amika
Amika huddled under the covers of the bed. The gang let her sleep by herself today. Normally she would have Iris with her while Addilyn slept in her apartment. But right now, Ami was all alone again. Closing her eyes, she released a wide yawn and tried her best to fall asleep.
Addilyn
Addilyn was in the storage room again. Looking out the window with her serious green gaze. Already her mind was thinking about the next day and the challenges to come. An attack on this place was nearly impossible since Earl protected this place as if it were his child. So they would most likely get maybe a few days rest here before they continued their plan for leaving. She was thinking they should get out of the country, to Canada. They couldn't stay in the U.S for much longer. It just wasn't possible.

Ribs wandered around, and entered the storage room. He felt awkward watching Rainbow, with tears trailing down their cheeks as they repeatedly apologized. He was lost in thought, he didn't notice the other person in the room. When he did, and startled. "Oh, hey... uh.. sorry I'll go.."

Addilyn
"Oh it's fine, if you want to stay I don't mind Ribs." Addilyn didn't turn around to look at him. By now she didn't think of it as rude, though many others did. Unlike others Addilyn had to think of the well being of her gang even if it meant her own sacrifice. She was well used to people disliking her for her bluntness and by now couldn't care less.

"Thanks." Ribs walked up to stand by Addi. He was curious about one thing. "I know that you aren't going to stay here forever. and that when you do you leave, that you know Jason is going to want to come with. And, Jason is loyal, so we won't want to leave Rainbow and I. What do you plan to do about that. Along with the fact it may be a possiblity that Rainbow won't leave that girl, and Jason won't leave them either."

Addilyn
"That's yet another subject that my brain is processing. Although I don't want to admit it, Jason and I have changed. Although we always were loyal to each other, now we both have others to worry about. I've known for a long time that Jason may not ever come back. Now that he has.. I don't know." Addilyn put her head in her hands, thinking of how to say this in a way that Ribs would understand. "I want nothing more in the world than to be with Jason forever. At the same time, the others have needs that I need to think about to. They know how torn I am, even if I don't show it. Of course they trust me and my decisions but at the same time we can't stay in this city for much longer. I don't have a choice."

Ribs nodded, understanding. "If I may offer an idea," Ribs started, and when no obvious objections came, continued, "Wait until that girl wakes up. We can try and find her parents, and if she doesn't have any around, we try to either take her with us or find a place for her to stay. That will please Rainbow, knowing she is in good hands, and they will be able to leave. I have connections in both Canada and Mexico, either of which you could head to. If you don't mind Rainbow and I, and maybe that girl, joining you, then I could get us safely across the border. That way, your group is safe, along with Jason staying with you."
