Luna bit back a rude comment and looked away. She knew they were trying to protect her, but she needed answers. *Why cant they understand that?!* Her ears were lowered, showing she would listen and not go, though she wasnt happy about it. She slowly started to head back towards where she and Cin dug the hole for her father, her head lowered, her tail dragging. She wasnt sure what to say to anyone without snapping at them. She knew all they wanted to do was help, and she couldnt get mad at them for that.

Bluejay followed Luna, who was very obviously aggravated. I know what might make her feel better. He sped up so he was by her side and lowered his head to her level to get her attention without trying to sneak up on her. "I'm under orders by my parents to not let you go. I'm sorry. How about after the feast and howl you can tell me stories, and relaxe by the fire?" He offered with a slightly apologetic tone and kept pace with her.

Luna sighed. "Only stories I know are ones that the pack tells the omegas to keep them in line" she said, barely glancing at Blue Jay. She shook her head before a small idea popped into her head. "Look, I know I cant talk to them, but what if I hid nearby while you did" she asked. "I need to know why they lied to myself and my mother about my father." She knew it was a long shot, and still a very little chance he would actually do it.

Bluejay was starting to think the alliance was impossible. With Nyra and her family so stuck in their ways and oppressing their pack. "Okay, well maybe you could make up stories." He suggested it trying to show her that he felt bad for her. "Next time I meat, I will bring it up and segway into how they deal with the deceased as that is an important thing to discuss." As they neard the hole he stopped and looked to her, at the body, finally at the hole and gave a sigh.

Luna shrugged to the idea of making something up. She wasnt sure really how to go about that. When he mentioned bringing it up she looked at him. "Please let me hear it from them. I will stay back and hidden. I promise to not go near them" she said before she looked to her father's body. The white female's lower half was still covered in dirt, but she didnt care. She was ready to bury her father.

He looked at her, knowing she wasn't going let up unless specifically told to drop it, which he wouldn't tell her to. "For that I'm going to need to think on it. As that puts us both at extra risk." He figured trying to get her to understand that would be useful. He turned to the body. "Its time, do you wish to?" He turned to her slightly surprised she was even standing with him.

Luna gave Blue Jay a nuzzle before she nodded. She just wanted to hear it from Nyra's mouth herself before she gave a small sigh. Luna looked at Blue Jay. "I'm ready to bury him, but I don't know what to say."

Bluejay didn't move when she nuzzled him, sure he wasn't the most used to it. He was more playfully tackled. Unless it was a pup, but they were small. No it was odd and welcoming when she nuzzled him, warm even. But he wouldn't say anything. Not now. "Well, sometimes words don't work well enough, your actions will say everything." He looked to the medics who had wrapped him in old burlap that they steel from places with cattle and lowered him into the pit. Bluejay started to gently fill in the hole.

Luna looked at Blue Jay before she started helping him fill in the hole. "Thank you" she said quietly. Her blue eyes were filled with sadness as she heard the dirt hit the burlap. She stopped before she let out a howl, one she knew Storm Pack would hear, hoping it would confuse them as to what was going on.

Everyone joined in filling the hole as they let Luna finish her first howl, then they joined in. It was deep and mournful. It echoed in the night. Bluejays parents walked up and joined in besides their son. When his mother finished he knelt over, "when Everyone is done, the departure feast is ready." Bluejay turn and nodded to his mother. "Thank you." And he turned to the moon and let out another long howl.
