Anya "well... no, not really. the raccoon hadnt bled too much. It just scraped a little deeper and i guess the cold water could have made it bleed a little more. either way though, im fine and it shouldnt be too bad off." Anya nodded at this, but still wrinkled her nose. She'd somewhat that was the case... well, not that exactly, but she'd guessed that the raccoon wasn't likely to bleed quite so much. But, as long as he kept the scrape clean then he would be fine. Well, the man had been out here for the best part of his life, so she was comfortable he'd know how to look after himself. . "having any urges yet? if so, raw fish is probably the safest thing you could try. if you get the craving though, dont fight it. Itll only make it worse if its fought. your body will tell you when you need it. Itll show the start of your changes and your body uses the nutrience from raw meats to fuel the sudden changes in your body." Anya hummed in thought before sighing and shaking her head. "No," she started quietly, glancing up for a moment to look at the man, though she still found it hard to look at him while he was gutting the fish. "Nothing yet. Don't worry, though. Whenever I do get it these so called urges, I'll let you know so you can endure it with me," she grinned in a teasing manner.

Frigus "No," He glanced towards her as he put the last two slabs on and chuckled lightly at her expression as she seemed to focus more on the fire than him, seeming to avoid looking towardss him in the moment. "Nothing yet. Don't worry, though. Whenever I do get it these so called urges, I'll let you know so you can endure it with me," He chuckled with a shake of his head, "you didnt think i wasnt going to do it with you did you? in fact, i like it from time to time, i just dont want you to have to see me eat it until you have to." . The man looked at the raccoon as he grabbed it by the spine, lifting it to his lap as he bagan cutting away the hide carefully. He started at the chin, down the belly, then down the underneath of the legs. Then he started carving away, making sure to seperate the skin from meat delicately as to not cut into the meat or slice the skin.

Anya "you didnt think i wasnt going to do it with you did you? in fact, i like it from time to time, i just dont want you to have to see me eat it until you have to." She looked at him like he'd just said something so uncouth that it'd kill her when he mentioned that he liked it. Well, she supposed it was fitting, with the whole werewolf thing. Though, she still found the whole idea... unsettling. Well, it all was. But she supposed she'd end up spending most of her time with him over the next few... weeks? Months? She didn't have a clue, but however long she was with him, she supposed she'd have to learn to live similarly to the way he did, and if that meant raw meats, then so be it. . After a couple of moments of just looking into the fire, she did risk a look over at Frigus, who was still at work on the raccoon. The sight instantly made her pale slightly, and just tried to focus on Frigus's eyes, so blue, such a contrast from the scarlet red blood that was pooling at his feet. "I can't believe you just said you like... this. And, no, I didn't think you'd do it with me," she mused with a slight chuckle, shaking her head ever so slightly. "I thought you'd bow out on me and make me do it all alone," she murmured, a slightly amused smile on her face as she glanced back towards the fire. Edited at December 5, 2022 02:56 PM by Hell Bound

Frigus The tall man chuckled at her expression, shaking his head a bit as he worked at the skin on the raccoon, finally pealing it away and slicing the meat into sections as he listened to her speak. "I can't believe you just said you like... this. And, no, I didn't think you'd do it with me," he rose a questionable eyebrow with a smirk as he side glanced at her as the flames light danced upon his face and chest, "really? you didnt think so?" "I thought you'd bow out on me and make me do it all alone," He laughed with a light sarcastic scoff in the tone, "wow, y'know i cant tell half the time if you think so little of me or are just super sarcastic all the time." he said teasingly as he nudged her playfully with his elbow but lightly winced as he had forgotten his wounded shoulder. he knew hed be sore tomorrow. soon the other bruises would be visible by morning. Anya Anya grinned at the boy at his comment. Really, she did like him... and she supposed she didn't exactly make it easy for him to be more comfortable with her, especially with all her tiny little jabs. She was only teasing though, and she made sure he knew that. "wow, y'know i cant tell half the time if you think so little of me or are just super sarcastic all the time." Anya gave a type of laugh at that, then shook her head. "Oh, Frigus. I think so very little of you. You know that," the girl teased lightly before shaking her her head again. He could take that however he wanted, but she didn't mean it, and he'd hopefully take it as a joke, like she'd intended. She frowned slightly when the man winced... he'd said it wasn't that bad, but if he was hurting from such a little touch... well, then she simply didn't believe him. "Are you sure you're alright?" She asked gently as she placed a hand on his shoulder. Edited at January 12, 2023 02:44 AM by Hell Bound

Frigus The man wasnt at all offended, at least he thought he wasnt. he kind of expected this from her, just a little teasing was all it was. "Oh, Frigus. I think so very little of you. You know that,"her response made him laugh as he shook his head lightly, his eyes on the fire as he set the rest of the raccoon carcass to the side, done with his work. "well, yknow, at least its easier to surprise you then huh?" he said with a light smile as he stood. hed have to store the remaining meat somewhere. somewhere nothing would get to it. meaning hed have to hang them up. he walked around the campfire and around the trees near as he looked for a thin vine. "Are you sure you're alright?" he paused a moment and looked at his shoulder. It was bruised although most of the bleeding had stopped it looked pretty swolen and enflamed from the pain but the gash in that matter had stopped bleeding which was what mattered, "yeah, ill be alright." he stated as surely as he could. he wouldnt want her to worry.

Anya The woman grinned up at the man as he walked around, an amused glint in her eyes. "well, yknow, at least its easier to surprise you then huh?" Anya rolled her eyes at this, obviously rather amused. "I think you've surprised me quite enough, thank you very much," the woman told him with a slightly wrinkled nose. Of course, she'd meant it, but there was a hint of tease in her voice. There always was, she supposed. She always wanted to see him smile, and hear his laugh... it made her chest twist in a way she couldn't quite describe. It was a good thing, though, she knew as much. She frowned slightly when he promised he'd be alright... she needed to trust him when he said that, but she couldn't help but worry. She knew he'd look after her if she needed it... like he had done already, so she wanted to look after him... at least a little bit. Edited at January 12, 2023 10:31 AM by Hell Bound

Frigus Upon a tree nearby he was able to spot a small vine, thin as a flower stem but strong as rope. He collected it and bundled it up to bring back to his seat near the fire. Her statement gathered his attention as his blue eyes shifted towards her, "I think you've surprised me quite enough, thank you very much," he huffed slightly and shook his head with a gentle grin, "I dont know. I mean I may have completely altered your life but... Ive gotta keep it a little interesting somehow while were here right?" His gaze flickered down to the left over bones from the carcass, ripping some ribs off of the spine as he mumbled to himself, "hmm. this should work." he pulled ribs off of the spine in sections, leaving one, then a space, then another. then he unraveled the vine and started wrapping it with the ribs pointing downwards. soon he had himelf a makeshift meat hanger and starting stabbing slices of uncooked meat onto the spines, then locked them onto the ribs by attatching the tendons and pulling them around the end and to the top so the meat couldnt fall off the semi curve of the ribs.

Anya "I dont know. I mean I may have completely altered your life but... Ive gotta keep it a little interesting somehow while were here right?" Well, she did have to agree with that at least a little. She'd still be up in the castle right now if it wasn't for him, doomed to a life of what could only be described as misery. Well, she might end up being miserable here too... but she'd found Frigus now. He was someone she'd never thought she'd see again. Someone that she could actually call a friend. It had been a while since she'd had one of those. Someone she could talk to about anything, and not feel... well, judged. "You're certainly keeping things interesting," she hummed with an airy chuckle. She had to admit she was getting a little more curious about all of these changes she was meant to be going through. Frigus had explained it well, really well, but she was interested to actually go through them. She wondered if she'd grow at all, if so, then how much? Or what would it feel like for the first time she actually like... changed. If she'd remember anything. It was all so new, and while she was obviously scared about it all, she also found her self almost... exited to see what the future would look like for her. She'd found herself following Frigus around, watching what he was doing... she'd found that she was slowly getting used to the whole meat thing, even if she'd admittedly rather stay away from it all. "Frigus, I was wondering earlier... what would happen if I was found in the wolven empire? I assume something would happen to me... but would they hurt you?" It was something that'd been eating away at her since late that night... they'd been curled up together, and she'd felt so safe... but were they really? They weren't safe in her kingdom, and they both knew that... but were they safe in the wolven empire either? Really, she didn't have a clue.

Frigus Soon he had the whole thing ready to hang, hed just have to get high enough off the ground to hang it up away from the reach of scavengers. his gaze twinkled in the fire light as the flames danced, illuminating his muscular tones that seemed so miniscule with clothes, but when exposed, he was just lean yet having a lanky build. being a bit stronger than he appeared. "You're certainly keeping things interesting," he chuckled lightly with a smirk and a nod of his head, good thats part of my job. He didnt mean to take her on as a responsibility. She didnt feel like a job to him. but he used his responsibility over her wellbeing to boost his mood. it made him feel like he was worth a little something. "Frigus, I was wondering earlier... what would happen if I was found in the wolven empire? I assume something would happen to me... but would they hurt you?" his gaze stayed firm on the dancing flames as he held his breath a moment, almost freezing in ashamed contemplation. he didnt want to tell her the truth. but he didnt want to lie to her. "If the old Alpha was still in rule... then it would be safe. My punishment would be to have to have you with me in my sights at all times. If you betrayed the kingdom then your fault would be mine and i would pay the same consequences. If you stole, cheated, or lied in the kingdom and were caught, wed both be punished because you are my responsibility and my creation in there eyes. you become a part of me once bitten. my scent becomes a part of yours like a trademark, so you will be able to be identified according to who has bitten you. But theres a new Alpha now. things are... different." he said as he bit the inside of his lip, he hated telling her this. the last thing he wanted was for her to feel guilty for his actions.
