Kelly smiles and purred. She licked the cubs as they nursed. I

A few moments later, Kelly heard growling coming from just outside the cave.

Kelly hid the pups as the nurses.

Suddenly, her father walked into the cave growling. Thunder glared when he saw his daughter "So this is where my daughter ran off to"

Kelly growled. "Get away." She wasn't getting up. The cubs were nursing but they were hidden.

Thunder growled back, taking a few steps closer. "Is that how you talk to your father?" He said sternly

Raven crawled over Kelly's tail and leg, which was what was keeping the cubs hidden.

"Oh...I see now, seems you did at least ONE thing right" Thunder said

Kelly growled. "I said leave." She then looked at Raven. She was going to protect her cubs anyway she possibly can. "What do you mean?" She asked growling. She was hoping Sky would come back. She picked up Raven and put him back by the other cubs.

Raven squirmed in protest at being picked up, but quickly stopped and snuggled with her siblings.

"You had cubs. Sad though, they won't survive the journey" Thunder stepped closer "I'll have to force you to leave them to die" He growled "Let's Go. NOW"

Sky had just taken down an inured zebra foal, he was on his way back when he picked up Thunder's scent in the territory. "N-no! Kelly! Cubs!" He dropped the prey and rushed back to the cave

"No! I'm not leaving my cubs and I'm not going with you!" Kelly said growling. She was protecting her cubs. She would attack her own father to keep the safe. "Leave!!" She said keeping the cubs close to her.
