Addilyn
Addilyn understood this was asking her to leave but not in a rude way. So she meerly nodded, "yea we should all try to sleep. I need to check on the idiots next door so I'll go do that." Addilyn gave a wave before exiting the room through the connecting door. As it normally was, Zane and Al were sleeping in one of the beds while Amika sat awake in another and Brax was asleep on the couch. All the guys were heavy sleepers so Addilyn didn't care too much about how loud she spoke. "You should go to sleep Ami, you need the rest." Amika didn't reply but her slightly cloudy gaze told Addilyn that she was mourning her sister. "I'll leave you be, I'm going to the storage room if you need me. I was to look at the view for a bit and you are welcome to join me if you wish." Amika nodded in gratitude but would obviously be staying here. Addilyn gave Ami a grim smile before leaving yet again and heading for the storage room.

Rainbow and Jason settled down to sleep, but Ribs wasn't tired. Not yet, at least. He walked out of the room and looked around curiously, bald head gleaming. He made a noncommittal noise, then noticed Amika as he prepared to back out. He gave a small wave, embarrassed.

Amika
Amika had heard the door opening and had been curiously watching Ribs before he had even noticed her. When he finally did realize she was wide awake, she gave him a small smile and a soft, "Hi." She was still internally mourning her sister, though the only sign of her pain was in her eyes. Ami wore a black tank top and shorts, her night wear was much different than her sister's brightly colored clothes and happy go lucky attitude.

"Must have been rough." Ribs said out of the blue, scratching his head awkwardly, "Whatever happened. You look unhappy." He had a baggy shirt on, and basketball shorts. Ribs was by no means handsome. He didn't have the amazing hair - he was bald, he didn't have the muscles - he was just bigger, he didn't have nice eyes - a frog green color, and he was sort of pasty. But Ribs was kind. He made mistakes, dealing out illegal things, but he never killed or harmed a person, other than practice fighting.

Amika
Ami didn't say anything for a moment, looking at her tattoo for a moment, the fiery dragon seeming to almost glow in the dim light. "Well.. yea. It was horrible. I didn't think she would- we promised. She promised-" Amika rubbed her sapphire eyes, ridding herself of the burden of tears. People judged when she cried. It made her look weak. She could not look anything but strong. Otherwise Addilyn might kick her out.

Ribs didn't want to intrude, so he stayed by the door, "I don't know what I would do if I lost my brother. Even though I hadn't seen him in a long time, even though I made mistakes, he still smiled and said 'Good to see you, Mike.'" His gaze wasn't sad, nor happy, but rather just heavy. Ribs was an emotional fellow, and unshed tears gleamed in his eyes. "Sorry. I know it doesn't cover it; sorry never does, but at least it's out there."

Amika
Ami rubbed her eyes before actually responding. She was still distraught in reality, she already felt the tug of being far away from her best friend, her closest confidant. "Thanks though, it's the thought that counts. I'm sorry that you can't see your brother." Amika's grim smile from earlier had long since disappeared and had been replaced by a completely blank expression. This was what Addilyn had taught them to do, this was what was right. This was what she should do. Right?

"I have a question, if you don't mind answering it." Ribs said softly, taking in her state. She was obviously not okay, Why was she trying to hide it behind a mask?

Amika
"Go ahead and ask it. I won't promise that I'll answer it though." Ami pushed back her hair, slightly nervous. She wasn't asked questions often since normally everyone already knew the answer. Often times people would know things about her long before she knew them herself.

Although he wanted to ask about the mask she put on, he knew it was unlikely for her to say anything to him - a stranger. So, he instead asked a safer question; "How did you grow up? Like what was the family life like, and how well off were you?" Ribs inched a bt more into he room, so he wouldn't be awkwardly in the doorway where Jason and Rainbow were watching him. He closed he door softly, and turned his frog green eyes to Amika.
