Maritza gave Khaos a sympathetic look, and hurried out of the room to find Tristan. Adina didn't care that she was the only Angel in the room, she started arguing alongside the demons, bringing her species perspective to Ajax's argument.

Ajax shot Adina a thankful look as she joined the argument. Echo took one long look at the two of them, angel and demon fighting alongside each other as she stood up and walked slowly towards them. Stopping mere feet away, her voice was low but powerful. "You can ask us, or order us to do something, but we won't always be under your thumb and listen and obey obediently." She gestured to Ajax and the angel. "We're working together here. Isn't that enough for you?" Khaos narrowed his indigo eyes, glaring at the three. "I told you. I don't want this!" His voice rose to a yell and Echo winced slightly at the noise, sensitive to loud noises. "We don't have any say in this manner! The council ruled that we have to do this, not us." "Then we'll fight against the council," Echo answered simply.

Maritza and Tristan walked back in at that moment, and the head angel's eyes went wide at the argument. "Why don't we all calm down? We can take a few minutes to seperately take a few deep breaths."

Echo's gaze slid over to the Head angel, deadly calm. "Why wait? Even if we call 'take a second to calm down' The issue will still remain, and we'll just get riled up again. We would have wasted valuable time."

Lady Maritza steeled her gaze, and gave the demon a cool look. "Because I said so. Now, everyone split up. You all have 5 minutes, then meet back here."

Echo's face split into her usual smirk, the one that she used to wear until recently. Jerking her head upward, to the roof, she looked at the angels, repeating the motion, hoping that they realized that she was trying to get them to go to the roof. She walked out, Ajax following shortly. "We need to figure something out." He hissed quietly. Echo nodded. "Let's go to the roof. It's more private there. Hopefully, the angels will meet us there and we can figure out a plan."

Tristan went back to his room, and Adina followed, in tears again. He gave her a quick hug, and then they split up, her going to her room, and him to his. He picked up his book, and tried to focus on the words and take deep breaths.

The demons managed to fly up to the roof, and they paced around, waiting. Echo narrowed her eyes, thinking that her signs were not obvious, and the angels weren't coming. Ajax threw his hands up and exclaimed, "We can just leave! Right now, just the two of us."

Tristan finally threw his book down, and started wandering the halls. He knew he wasn't supposed to, but he couldn't sit still. Adina, on the other hand, flew up to the roof, silently. She heard the male demon's words, and folded her wings neatly. "Actually, you can't. There's a shield around the building that prevents anyone from entering or leaving without clearance."

Echo and Ajax turned around, and Echo nodded. "That's what I thought. They wouldn't have made it so easy for us to escape, because they know we wouldn't want to do this." Ajax sighed, running his hand down his face. "What're we going to do?"
