Luna watched them all closely before she lowered her ears, hearing the wolf ramble on about crazy things. He looked familiar, but she couldnt place where. She carefully got off the fallen tree and made a wide circle, staying back behind the other pack members.

Bluejay watched as everyone copied him in their spots. He gave the nod and when the wolf turned to him he jumped out making a distraction for the others to make hits. Mostly it was jest heavy barreling into him and jumping back to avoid getting bit or scratched. In the end it was the battle Master who rendered him unconscious. She turned to blue. "Now what, do we still..." Blue Jay stepped forward and hung his head out of respect for the fallen wolf. "We bid you well as you journey beyond what we know. Do not worry for the things you've left behind." Their was a deep solemness in his voice that made it drop. He looked away as he did it. Then he sat and motioned for the medics to put him on the carrier. "When we get back we will get a proper burial." He turned around and started walking behind the medics with his head hung.

Luna looked at the medics before she quickly made her way over. She stopped in her tracks, her tail and ears dropping as she took a step back. "It can't be" she mumbled. She glanced at the others before she shook her head, backing up more.

Bluejay turned to see everyone with their heads low. He saw as Luna seemed extra distraught. He trotted behind everyone and stood beside her. "Did you know this wolf?" He looked at the wolf on the carrier.

Luna nodded. "He was my father" she said. She motioned to the mark on his shoulder. "That's the mark of the untrusted and exiled in Storm Pack. They told me and my mother he was dead" she said before she shook her head. "That mark usually tells other packs to never trust the wolf, forcing them to live as a loner."

Bluejays eyes got wide with sadness for her as he nudged his tail against her, in a poor attempt to comfort her. "Okay, we will do what you ask with his remains." He lowered his head to show her a bit of respect.

Luna looked at her father's body before she buried her face into Blue Jay's shoulder. "Do you have any oak trees around? He liked them a lot, and I would like him to be burried next to one, if that's alright" she said.

He watched her as she spoke solemnly. "Yeah, their are a few really big ones near camp but far enough out so he can rest in peace." He looked in to the front of the group. "It is customary for the relatives to lead a howl. Are you up for it?" He asked with a low tone, not trying to disturb anyone.

Luna nodded before she looked at Blue Jay. "Thank you" she said. "I-I know you had to kill him, but you are also helping me give a goodbye I never got to give him" she said before she looked back to her father's body. She had only been a year old when she and her mother were told that he was dead, and now, she felt like she knew part of the reason she was an omega. *It couldnt have just been him, right* she thought.

He turned to her, not understanding her grief. "Your welcome. If you wish you may come to the front with me." He started moving faster and moved to the side to not disturb anyone. When he got to the front he lifted his head and led them proudly.
