Killian had not been enjoying his week, and if anything, it would only get worse from here. So he tried to keep up normalcy, even if literally everything was shit right now and all he really wanted to do was get a wink of sleep. Regardless, he still had to act the stoic, furious leader of Bleeding Streets (look at me coming up with names on the spot) even if he was almost nervous about the fights to come. He had never lost a fight before, and these fights were cutting him down dangerously low. Soon, Ian slammed the car door once he exited, hoping that Flower Boy was still alive and breathing inside.

Rhys had been enjoying the time off from having to work, but he was becoming bored and increasingly more worried about the fact that he would still have to pay his bills somehow. So, Rhys was looking for job ads. It might be risky, and although he didn't want to feel like he had to ask Luke for permission, he wanted to run it by the gang leader, to see if it would be too risky.

Ian decided that he wasn't just going to walk into the house, even if it was technically his. Regardless, he didn't want to see something he didn't need to see. So Killian knocked on the door to his own house. He hoped Rhys hadn't gone into the attic. Although Killian didn't come to this extra place often, when he did, it was normally because of the house's history and how it strengthened his blood magick. Basically, a normal person wouldn't want to go up into the attic.

sksk - Rhys peered through the window, checking on who it was, then opened up the door, "Hello," He said casually, stepping back and opening the door wider, "Come on in." The house, which had previously been infested with dust and grime, then cleaned by Rhys, had recieved an even deeper clean during the week while he had been stuck here. Rhys allergies had been a driving factor.

Killian took a tentative step into the house, an obviously confused expression on his normally stoic face. The house was clean, something that Killian didn't take the time out of his day to do because he obviously had better things to do with his time. He'd noticed the plants out front looking nicer but inside was like a whole different place when it was actually clean. Somehow, he almost liked it better than he had before. Which was impossible because he was an extremely messy person and didn't like cleanliness. "Damn, you cleaned the place up huh? Good job, cuz it was never gonna get done with the way things were heading." Ian turned to look at Rhys, a sly grin on his face. "Nice to know you aren't like.. dead, or kidnapped. That would've been a problem."

Rhys closed the door behind Ian once he was instead, and turned around to admire his work when Ian mentioned it, "I have the worst allergies ever, and it sometimes causes my powers to act up. Plus," Rhys shrugged, "I got bored." Rhys rubbed his arms awkwardly, "And yeah, uh... I'm glad to be alive and stuff as well." He walked further into the house, grabbing a box from the cabinet and holding it up, "Want some tea? I'm not sure how long you are going to stick around."

Ian chuckled softly, though it hardly lasted a second, these days, anything that had to deal with happiness was lost in the overwhelming stress Killian was dealing with. Avery was doing their best to keep Ian in a better mood, and sometimes it worked, and Ian was happy for awhile. Then came the phone calls, big robberies, arson, things that his gang hardly ever did because it was stupid and unnecessary, all getting pinned on the Bleeding Streets because they were the only gang in town. That is, until the new one came, and no matter what Ian did to prove to the cops that it wasn't his gang, they still blamed it on them. Something told Killian that there was more to the picture than he was seeing, and that if he didn't figure it out fast, he wouldn't be in charge of the most important gang in the city for much longer. Killian shook himself out of his head, trying to focus on the present and not everything else that was happening. "At least you do something productive when you're bored, I probably would've blown up the place or something." Ian shrugged, still looking, and acting, as if he wasn't really there. "Tea? Like the stuff my aunt drinks when her head hurts? I mean, I guess so, what kind do you have?" For once, Killian didn't seem like he was purposefully trying to get under Rhys' skin, he just looked tired and stressed.

Rhys looked over Ian with a concerned frown, "Well, disregarding the fact that boredom would lead you to destroying your own property..." Rhys had a hard time just disregarding that fact, and had to take a moment to run his hands through his hair. Rhys let out a deep and calming breath, and placed his bright smile back on his face, "You need something soothing," Rhys said, mostly to himself, and didn't answer Ian's question, "Sit down," he offered, "I'll have this ready in a moment, and uh... please don't blow anything up."

Killian chuckled at Rhys' voice, he wouldn't actually blow something up, but sometimes he caused electrical problems to other people just to mess around. It wasn't like he had a destructive nature, his powers just had different ideas than he did, and sometimes he liked seeing his neighbors confused as to why their tvs wouldn't turn on and when the electrical company came to fix that light problem, it still didn't work. No, he wasn't destructive, he was just annoying. At Rhys' concern at the blow things up part, Killian released a short chuckle. "I wouldn't blow it up, I was just joking. Although, I probably could blow up a place as long as there is live electricity. Hmm, food for thought I guess." Ian shrugged, quickly walking over to the nearest seat and frowning at the cleanliness of the place. Maybe he should hire someone to clean up this place once Rhys was gone, granted, that was probably a bad idea considering the attic was... not something anyone needed to see. "You haven't gone into the attic right?" Killian asked suddenly, mildly afraid that Rhys had.

"Uhm... no," Rhys said, looking mildly concerned, "I have not gone into the attic, and based on the way you said that I am going to assume I should not go up there." Once the tea was ready, Rhys handed Ian a cup, and kept one for himself as he sat down, "Say no more - I will not go into the attic. I have seen enough horror movies to know that the attic and basement are bad places in a strange house."
