Imani nodded, hoping he was telling the truth. She tensed as the King and Queen awoke, and decided to try to divert her attention to something else. "So, if you don't mind me asking, what was it you saw that night? The night before last?" She asked, curiosity glittering in her gaze.

Zeus was about to say 'what do you mean' ut then he remembered. He knew what he had saw, the Queen staring at them. But the question was, does he tell Imani the truth, or lie again. His heart started to pound quickly. He decided she should know. If he saw something with her, he had to be honest. "I saw the queen staring at us, and smiling. I didnt tell you because I didnt want to back down. The Queen is going to do whatever it takes for us to not be together." He said, a frown on his face.

"I guess you can stick around," he Saud, before turbing and walking away. As shebseemed to be organized hunting and birder patrols. "Imani, you go ahead, hunt. I'll be rught here." He said, motioning towards the gathering lions and lionesses.

Imani nodded, "You go see a healer before your cuts get infected." She said, licking his cheek before she walked away towards the Queen. Imani gathered with the other lionesses, one of which was her sister. Her earlier conversation with Zeus sparked her mind, but she pushed it away. They had ignored her all these years, why should she start talking to them now? Imani shook her pelt and left with the group, trying to seek out a antelope herd.

Zeus nodded. "I'll go." He said, after Imani left he went straight to the healer. He didnt know his ir hers name, nor met them. As he walked into the den, his nostrils were overrun with the smell of herbs. "Hello?" He called into the darkness. A old male lion came into view, he came tiwards Zeus and lookdled over his wounds. "Looks like you got in a fight with a buffalo." He exlaimed, his raspt voice chuckling. "You could say that." Zeus replied, lying down to let the medic examine his wounds.

Imani stalked through the savanna grass, the young antelope just yards from her. Her muscles bunched, and she pounced, landing on the antelopes back, breaking its spine. It dropped dead immediately, and Imani dodged out of the way as a adult antelope almost trampled her. The rest of the lionesses had sent the herd running and they all grouped together with their catches, heading back to camp.

The medic sighed as he looked ober Zeus' wounds, applying jucies and herbs that helped sooth his pain. He said he had sprained hisnhip, the sign for the limping, and gabe him a few herbs to ease the pain. He told Zeus to rest, and the leg should be healed in a few days. "Thank yoy." Zeus said, as he began to walk out. I guess the medic would be the inly on to except him. "Any time." The medic replied. They parted ways, and Zeus went back under the main tree, and waited for Imani to return.

Imani walked back into camp, discarding her catch in the pile with the others, searching around for Zeus. She found him and trotted over to him, sitting next to him. "I'm back." She said as she sat.
