Valerii blushed as Sam lips touched her cheek before he got off the bed to change clothes. She saw his muscular back fromt he corney of her eyes but then decided to watch him change as he spoke. " I would be grateful for that, Sam" her voice was dry when speaking. She cleared her throat when she stood up and leaned back against the wall " A full day it seems" Val joked " Not a problem at all. I'll have plenty to do in the meantime. And its only fair if you wanted me to pick you up from school." Her eyes searched him. " Oh and before I forget... I still need to finish the list for your dad. On the way back to my house, maybe drop me off to drop the list off to your dad?" The list was in her pocket with now all the people he needed to go after. Some would be nearly impossable, some would be rather easy. "I'll be waiting downstairs. No rush" She gave him a gentle smile and walked out the door and downt he stairs waiting by the door with her phone in hand.

Sam gave her a small smile, glad to help her out. "Sure, I can drop you off at the station on the way," he agreed, ruffling his hair slightly as it was messed up with the hoodie he just pulled on. He grabbed some black denim jeans, his fingers at the hem of his joggers as he listened to her. He let out a small chuckle, shaking his head. "You don't have to pick me up, but thank you," he said, appreciative of her offer.
Once she left the room, he pulled his joggers down and changed into the jeans he held. He freshened up in the bathroom and eventually left his room. Sam walked down the stairs and smiled at her. He grabbed his car keys. "Ready to go?" He asked her, walking over to her.

Valerii didn't have to wait too long for Sam to come back down the stairs. " Absolutely" SHe didnt exactly want to leave his side, but he did have school today. SHe knew they would have time after. She would be at home waiting for his call or text " Maybe I'll plan something out while you're at school or I'll just be at the cafe doing stuff" She said as she walked out the door "Gangster life is a pretty easy life, but its not where I wanna be. I want to be free and be a normal human being" then added "Maybe go to school. Who knows what fate has for us" She obviously knew she talked too much, so at this point just stopped talking, giving Sam the time to talk. Edited at September 14, 2023 12:51 PM by Queen Elsa

Sam nodded, opening the door for her and walking outside, locking the front house door and unlocked his car with a click of a button. "I'll call you when I'm finished at school," he stated, knowing she would probably be waiting for his call. Sam just smiled softly, glad to hear that she wouldn't want to be in the gangster life. It reassured him.
After getting into the car, he turned on the engine and drove off into the direction of the police station. "Maybe you could go to school," he shrugged, it would be good as not many of the people in the town have went to university and have degrees. It was a good asset to have in life. Sam hoped that he would be there for her throughout those times.

She nodded. Valerii sat quietly in the car, only listening to his voice. " Maybe I will. I would just need to have a serious conversation with my dad. Maybe I'll get something out of it and maybe I wont. But I wont know til I try, right?" SHe looked at his as she askd the question. A gentle and loving smile crossed her lips " and if it doesnt, I think someone will make him uderstand" Val apparently had a plan for all this if worse came to worse. She would make her understand who and what was important to her in her eyes and not by his leader gang standards. The drive to his dad's wasnt so bad. Quiet but enjoyable, especially with Sam next to her. Calmness washe over her as she looked back towards the road. Edited at September 12, 2023 12:31 PM by Queen Elsa

Sam nodded, agreeing that she had complete autonomy over her own life and she didn't have to follow her fathers orders all the time. It was something he had felt deeply passionate about sharing with her. But he still hadnt known her for that long, meaning he knew it wasn't his place to tell her what her father can and cannot do. That would make him as bad as him. Eventually, he reached the station and he pulled up alongside the entrance. "Do you want me to come in with you?" He asked. "I don't mind," he added with a shrug. That was genuine. Sam could imagine that walking into a police station would be quite nerve wracking for her, especially since his dad now knows she's in a gang.

Valerii didnt even realize that they had arrived untill the car made it to a halt. Her ehad turned to the building before looking at Sam. " That would be great, Sam. Thank you. " A genuine smile crossed her lips before grabbing the pad of paper she finally was able to finish and her cell phone before getting out of the car. Her heart was beating a mile a minute as she looked back to wards the building, Hoping to god that things would go well. Deep breathes, Val. No need to worry. Sam got you her mind said. In a matter of minutes, she was walking towards the front doors.

Sam nodded, parking the car up and getting out with her. He locked his car and walked around to the entrance where Valerii was. He gave her a reassuring smile and walked in with her. Sam could tell she was nervous, so he placed a gentle hand on the small of her back, helping her in any way he could. "Hey Smithy," he greeted the police officer at reception, who nodded to him nonchalantly. "Here for your dad?" He asked, glancing up and seeing the girl beside Sam. He cocked a brow before looking to Sam confused.
A small smile left Sam's lips and he spoke. "She's here with me, got a few things to give to my dad. That's all," he said and the police officer nodded, giving Sams father's office a ring. After a few moments, his dad came out from his office and smiled to the pair of them. "Ah Valerii. Thank you," he said, taking the piece of paper from her and glancing down at it. "Perfect," he mumbled. Sam kept his hand on her back, gently rubbing circles to try and calm her nerves.

Once Valerii handed him the paper, she let out a loud and long exhale, glad that Sam was beside her, comforting her. "That should be all you need from me, Sir. But if you do need something more, im sure Sam will let me know, and I will get what you need." Her dark hazel eyes looked at the officer "I suggest you be careful when catching them... they can be dangerous when at range..." she had her own share or being eye to eye with some of them and it never turned out pretty. A few bruises, but no cuts. "I shouldnt keep you from work. Come on Sam, drop me off at home and then get yourself to class." A little smirk and wink crossed her towards him before turning around, still with his hand around the small of her back. "Unless you want to be late" she joked, pecking his cheek.

His dad folded up the piece of paper and placed it in his pocket, smiling gently. "Of course. If I need anything else I'll let Sam know," he said, nodding and about to turn on his heels when he heard her say something. He paused, taking in the information and making a mental note to himself. "Thank you, Valerii," he spoke with sincerity and headed back to his office.
Sam looked back to Valerii and smiled, turning around and walking out of the station. As he unlocked his car, he turned to her and smirked devilishly. "Don't tempt me," he muttered, walking over to her and trapping her between himself and the hood of his car. He leaned down, kissing her cheek softly.
