Killian chuckled, and he turned to look at Flower Boy with an almost confused light. "I really hope you're not worrying about me Flower Boy, as that would be unfortunate. But in all seriousness, there are lots of things going on that you don't know about, and it only has me more concerned because the other gang has seen your face clearly, and now they know for a fact that you're with me. It is.. not a very good situation for you. Especially with the way they're currently kicking our asses. There's just lots going on right now. That's all." Ian shrugged, trying to put it off as not a big deal even though it was a big deal.

Rhys raised an eyebrow, "I can protect myself," he said vaguely, "I appreciate you letting me stay in this house, but do not worry or think about me any more, alright?" He opened up the door and put his suitcase down, then looked back at Ian for a moment, "And... I think you can beat them. If you know they have a way of finding out that someone is in my apartment, maybe you could turn it around and trap them." He shrugged, "I dunno. But seriously, don't worry about me anymore."

A pained expression reached his face when Flower Boy said he could protect himself. Once Ian had thought he'd be fine, that no one would ever be able to defeat him because he was strong, yet here he was now. The leader of a gang that had once tried to kill him for a year straight before he'd killed the previous leader. Which had of course made him the new leader, and he had to be initiated by the second in command back then and discover a side of himself that he'd been desperately avoiding for years. The side that craved violence just as intensely as Marisol did. Yes, that was a part of Ian, no matter how hard he tried to hide it. Though he was pretty good at remaining stoic. "I will try Flower Boy, but it is not right for me to completely abandon you since I do indeed owe you for saving my life. And I'm already thinking of plans, I am sure this will all be over soon, I just have to make it till then. Anyways, get back into your house and try not to get yourself kidnapped or something okay? I'll show up later this week to make sure you aren't actually dead." Killian was being completely serious, as he couldn't just text Flower Boy and assume that it was Flower Boy replying and not some kidnapping, murdering asshole.

Rhys scrunched up his nose, but nodded, "Okay. I'll do my best to live. See ya, Ian," Rhys got out of the car, and grabbed his suitcase. He closed the car door with a soft thud, and hurried up the walkway to get inside. At the door, he turned halfway around and waved, then unlocked the door and headed inside.

Killian was tempted to wave back but instead he just gave a slight nod and roared down the road. Tires screeching as they tried to gain traction on the road. ~ ~ Ts?

It had definitely been a rough week, Ian's gang won two out of the three fights against the other gang but that still wasn't enough for Ian. His gang hadn't lost a fight in the entirety of his time as a leader. Now this other gang was threatening his very position. Killian couldn't stand for that. He had been in the two fights that had won, and by the end of the week, he was absolutely exhausted. He'd used lots of his blood this week, hexing people, casting blood magick and strengthening his allies. Sometimes, he even sapped some blood from the other side, though it was a rather complicated process to do during combat, especially since it wasn't his main magic. Today was different, there had been a fight the night before, one where Ian had won, and everyone doubted that anyone would start anything as they were all licking their wounds. So on that note, Killian shot Rhys a quick text just stating he'd be coming over. Avery wasn't home, they were out working, so it wasn't like Killian could do anything other than nurse his deep cuts and black eye.

Rhys had been catching up on sleep, and enjoying his time in an actual house, with furniture and everything. His apparent had been so barren, but it was what he could afford. Rhys also wasn't a materialistic person, and found that he didn't need physical objects to make him happy. Rhys had been reading a book when he got a text from Ian. He shrugged to himself, and sent a text back saying he'd see Ian soon.
