Ekon stayed quiet too, as he was trained to. He stayed to himself in the corner, patiently waiting for Anasuri to come back. He was a rather social elf to people who were like who he once was but in the presence of other guards he turned cold. Most guards were full of themselves, something he would never be. Something he really couldn't tolerate. So he didn't speak to them. Before approaching Anasuri, he allowed her to say her thank yous and goodbyes. He didn't wish to intrude on that.

Anasuri quickly left the room, a thin file in her hand. Once out of sight Anasuri jumped and laughed out loud, her voice filled with relief, "Okay. Now! Let's head to the orphanage - but we need to make a stop at the food market. Would you mind getting the horses? Keo and Nak should be off to the left - the stables are in plain view."

Ekon nodded, looking curiously at Anasuri when she laughed and jumped in such a childish manner that he was thrown off for a moment. He regained his self control quickly enough though and looked away from Anasuri so she wouldn't notice his slip. He went off to grab the horses. Gold eyes slinking back down to deep brown.

It was a very successful meeting. By agreeing to give twenty head of cattle, Anasuri got full permission to take on to take on the school project, and expand the staff and funding of the orphanage.

Ekon grabbed the horses with a reserved politeness. Zaine greeted him with a soft nibble on the hem of his tunic. He gently pushed Zaine off as he led the two horses back to where Anasuri waited. As normal, he did not meet Anasuri's eyes as he handed her the reins of her horse.

Anasuri, being tiny while her horse was giant, had to use the special mounting block that was made for her. Soon enough, though, she was astride Melion and heading to the food market.

Ekon made sure Anasuri was up before quickly mounting his own horse. He kept his place to the right of Anasuri but allowing her to lead as he had done before.

Once at the market, Anasuri scanned for a certain vendor. Once she found him, the princess waved, and a began carting his goods over to them, "The usual place, Keel," She directed, tossing him a pouch of coins, which jangled against each other, "Yes, Princess."

Although Ekon was quite curious as to what they were doing but he did not act it. He was not paid to be curious, he was paid to protect Anasuri. So although he may be rather intrigued by Anasuri's business, it was not something he should be asking about.

They made their way to the orphanage, and once they arrived, Anasuri swung down from her horse, and leaded him to a hitching post, where there were halters available. She nearly skipped up the stairs and knocked on the door, where a tall young woman stepped out, and immediately enveloped Anasuri in a hug. She called over her shoulder, "She's here!" and a thunderous storm of footsteps could be heard. Moments later, a rush of children, aging from 2-16, flooded the princess, where she hugged them, and ruffled their hair. She took the smallest child from one of the older children, and led the swarm down off the porch, "We have treats!" She gestured towards the vendor with her free arm, "And got biscuits as well."
