Tristan scowled at the demons, and turned on his heel, leaving the room. He ran as quickly as he could, to Adina's room. She opened the door for him, and he dropped into a chair, explaining what had happened.

Echo followed the adults out of the room, staying silent. She felt guilt crash down on her as she thought about how awful she had been to the angels. It wasn't their fault that they were all stuck like this. Sighing, she knew she wouldn't feel any better until she apologized. Taking the dress, she went to the room and slipped in on willingly, and then redoing her braid, and stepping back into the room where the adults were.

Trsitan coaxed Adina to come down with him, not wanting her to get in trouble. She finally agreed, and followed behind him to the hall where everyone had gathered. He sat as far away from the demons as he could, trying to ignore the fact that the whole purpose of the meeting was wedding details.

Echo sat at the table, her head bowed and her hands folded in her lap. Ajax was looking at the table, glaring holes into it. The Head Demon glanced around, and sighed. He turned to the Head Angel and said, "You want to start? You've always been better at this than I was."

Maritza looked like she wanted to hug her daughter, but instead she swallowed hard, and brushed a lock of hair out of her face. "Well. First we'll have you split up. Ladies, you'll go and pick your dresses, and the gentlemen will pick the rings for their future bride. Then we'll have guys pick suits, and ladies pick rings. Any questions?"

Echo just shook her head and stood up, walking out. Ajax nodded stiffly, shooting a glare at his father before walking out as well.

Tristan didn't want to be in the same room as the demon, but straightened his shoulders, and left, Adina also leaving. Tristan walked into a small dark room, wincing at the shadows. There were ring cases everywhere, and he scanned the first one, hating all the options.

Echo looked up from tracing her fingers over a beautiful black dress that has outlines of crimson and gold as the angel walked in. "Hey." She said softly. "I was awful. I know. And I also know that this won't solve anything between us, but I just wanted to let you know I'm sorry." Ajax walked into the room, keeping his eyes forward and his jaw clenched. He gazed over the ring options, not really looking.

Adina sighed.
"It's fine," she said softly, pulling out a dramatically cut sliver dress. She brushed her fingers down the beadwork, and rolled the straps between her fingertips. Tristan scowled at the rings. "God. I don't even know what she likes," he muttered to himself.

Echo nodded and looked back at her dress, looking for some shoes to wear along with it. Ajax heard him and piped up. "She would probably like something with a black base, with a garnet stone and gold highlights." He sighed. "She seems to love that color scheme. Red, gold, and black. If you can't find that, try an emerald stone with a black base." He looked at the rings. "Anything your girl would like?"
