This time she couldn't help the smile that blossomed across her face. It was definitely a real smile too. Okay, so maybe behind all that police officer, there was a sweet man. But all this was only happening because he was drunk. What happened when Silas was no longer drunk? What is tonight things went to far and they ended up in bed together? What in the world would Silas think when he woke up the night morning? What would Rylee do? A criminal in bed with a cop? She doubted it would happen, but still, what if?
At his next words, her eyes widen. She notes how his gaze drops then comes back up. Okay, that was a sudden jump. She supposed alchol did that. Did he want a kiss? She was kind of stunned and stumped. Once again, flirting was not her thing. Hell, talking to men for any other reason than either demanding money or annoying a cop, was something she'd never done. How did she answer that? She didn't want to hurt his feelings, but she sure as hell was not ready for a relationship.
She wasn't even in the position to have a relationship. Especially with a cop. "I, uh... Well, I mean we only just met tonight." Let him down easy. "I don't know a whole lot about dating, but I'm pretty sure you don't date someone you just met." Hopefully that would shake him off. And hopefully he wouldn't remember any of this.

Of course he didn't think girlfriend was the right word but it was a pg word. It was used more innocently and freely then some of the things he was thinking. He wasn't sure if it was just the alcohol or his own mind. It was hard to decipher between the two when all he could see was a pretty woman in front of him. "No no, I suppose you dont," He chuckled a little, shaking his head. She didn't capture the word he meant to use. It wasn't girlfriend. One definitely did not date someone they didn't know yet,"Hmm, maybe something a little more temporary?" Maybe that was what he was meaning to say. His gaze dropped down to her lips again. He wanted to kiss her but didn't dare attempt it. Not without knowing for sure if that's what she wanted. He didn't want to disrespect her in any way. "A kiss perhaps?" He pushed a little more. Kisses were harmless and didn't signal anything as serious as lovers or a couple. Kisses happened all the time, even families kissed.

Temporary? Ha, how long was temporary? Only tonight or...?
"Um, I suppose how short is temporary?" She didn't mean to sound mean or anything. She wasn't exactly trying to reject him. But... Once again... A cop with a criminal? A criminal with a cop? And the cop in question was drunk. Once again. How would he feel when he woke up... Sober. Of course, it would be an interesting story to tell. Oh. How did you end up in prison?
Well, I met this cop at the bar, we'd already met ebfore and he tried to get me in a program but I escaped. At the bar he was drunk and he started flirting with me. Well.... One thing led to another and when he woke up the next morning completely sober. He arrested me and now I'm here.
Oh god. She would never live that down. And from Silas' words and actions. It seemed he was looking for something like a... one night thing. And now he wanted a kiss. She'd never kissed anyone in her life. Not on the cheek and sure as hell not on the lips. But there was a first time for everything right. She felt like she was leaning forward, was she. "I... Uh..." She trails off. She couldn't help it as her gaze dropped down to his lips briefly. Just a kiss. Right?

She was asking how short temporary was which made him question if she was truly single. She could be looking at getting back at her partner or a polyamorous sort of thing. He just didn't want to feel lied to. Temporary could mean a lot of things. He wasn't sure how long temporary was, not with his head in the clouds. he figured temporary would be something decided between the two of them. He wanted more than a kiss. However, a kiss was a good place to start or end. A neutral ground to some of the things that he wanted. A neutral ground to come to more intense things if they chose or to completely stop if they chose. The woman leaned forward a little. Barely enough to catch but he did. He moved a little closer to her as she seemed to stutter and grow flustered. He paid close attention when her gaze dropped down. That normally meant a person wanted to right? Experimently, he brought his hand up to cuff around her face, his fingertips barely brushing her hair that was pinned away. Her hair did feel soft though, he liked the way it seem to shine. He leaned closer and closer until their noses were basically touching. "You're very beautiful," He whispered and then kissed her gently.

Rylee hesitates again, her mind was going in circles. She was still questioning what the hell she was doing. She flinches slightly as Silas' hand cups her face, she'd never been touched in such a gentle way before. And as he leaned forward, she forced herself to stay still. She felt their noses brush and her breath catches in her throat. A small smile curves on her face at his words and then his lips were on hers. They were kissing.
She wasn't sure how to feel. She'd never kissed anyone before but her lips seemed to be moving on their own accord. She supposed she was kissing him back. She wasn't exactly sure. And did kissing normally feel like this? She felt... excited? Nervous... Stressed... All of the above. Well, at least if something happened to her, she could at least say that she had actually kissed someone... Not that she had anyone to tell.
(Sorry. I didn't know how to lengthen this)

Silas wasn't too sure at first if she truly wanted him to kiss her but she had leaned in and he did see her gaze flicker down to his lips. But he had also seen the smile very briefly appear on the woman's face. And when he kissed her, she met his own. He deepened the kiss a little more, feeling more certain that this was okay. That it was okay to kiss her. He could taste the faintest hint of her drink on her lips. Her lips were also soft. He pulled back but stayed close to her to catch his breath. His gaze studied hers and his hand stayed on her cheek. It was the first time he had kissed anyone in a long time. He hoped he did alright.

God. Who knew kissing was so... great. She could taste his drink on his lips. But she figured there wasn't anyway she could get drunk off just tasting the liquid off his lips. But... She may get drunk off the kiss. Is that what the saying was? Getting drunk off his kiss? She had no idea.
His lips were soft and the kiss just felt so natural. She didn't know if that was normal. Some conversations she had heard just walking around was that the first kiss was not very good. It was just like everything else. It needed practice. But... This kiss felt pretty good. Which was a good thing. Hopefully.
When Silas pulls back, Rylee's eyes open. Her lips were still partly open, her breath escaping in quick short breaths. That was awesome. As he looked in her eyes, she couldn't help but stare back. A small smile on her face. Would he say something first? Or should she? Or should she just kiss him again?

It wasn't his first time kissing someone but the kiss made it feel like his first time. It left him breathless and in an array of different emotions. He didn't know what to say or do, so he just stayed there, his gaze locked into hers. He didn't want to move or make the wrong move. Her kiss has been amazing. He didn't want to mess it up with her. But he knew he had to do or say something. He caught her smiling and smiled back. His thumb went to brush against her cheek. He was careful with his movements in case she didn't like them. "Hi," He whispered, unsure of what his next move was. He wanted to kiss her again but held back.

Kissing him made her want to kiss him again. Did he want that? What else did he want? He didn't seem drunk anymore, but there was no way he was sober... Right? If he was, she would already be arrested. Right? She was so confused, and overwhelmed by so many emotions. Some were good, some were bad, but she couldn't sort them out. She wanted to kiss him, she wanted to push him away, she kind of wanted to punch him.
She shivers again as his thumb brushes her cheek. This time because it sent electricty through her body. Not like getting shocked, but... Well, she couldn't describe the feeling. She wished she could, but she wished she could.
"Hi." She murmurs back. What to do now? It kind of seemed he was just as uncertain as she was about what to do. If he kissed her again, she wouldn't protest or push him away.

He wasn't trying to be the bad guy here, he was trying to sort out everything in his mind. It was kind of hard to sort through all the emotions in his head. He wanted to invite her to his house, he wanted to kiss her again, but then he also didn't want to push too far or seem disrespectful. He was trying to be the good guy here. The one that didn't lead off of their first instinct in their minds. But of course that was more difficult in person than it appeared on paper. He smiled at her hi and leaned to press another kiss to her cheek. The cheek was the safest zone to go to but when he kissed her cheek, he ended up giving into some of his temptations and pressing a few kisses along her jawline as well, his hand slipping off of her cheek and down to her waist. His touch was gentle and so was his kisses but he found himself wanting more. But he resisted, forcing himself to pull away and looked down,"I-I'm sorry. Was that wrong of me to do? I don't want to upset you."
