"Your husband will also be sitting at the table to discuss business, so you can most definitely sit here." Seeing Clementia's nervousness, Gwendolyn put a hand on her new found friend's arm, "If any problems arise, I will explain, but I don't believe it will be necessary."

Clementia blushed a soft pink at Gwendolyn's attention. It was so weird to have a queen trying to help Gwendolyn with her dumb social problems and lack of royal etiquette. " Oh, thank you, I really appreciate it m'lady."

Gwendolyn smiled in response, and sat down at her place. Soon after, people began to take their respective seats, until the only people left were the King and his close company. Once Aldwin began eating, it would signify the meal's beginning.

Clementia sat next to Gwendolyn, much to the astonishment of both her husband and the other, jealous, ladies and lords. Perhaps Gwendolyn was the Queen, and very much married to Aldwin, but some men just never gave up. Aldwin soon sat down at the head of the table, smiling as he began to eat, to the relief of everyone waiting for him to begin.

Gwendolyn smiled at the woman beside her, and then to her husband. She picked up her fork and began to eat, once again amazed by how talented the cooks were here, "I miss my home in Rome, but I could definately get used to this food," She murmured to Clementia.

Clementia was also astonished about how good the food here was. Of course they had cooks at home, but they were not nearly as talented as the cooks here. "It is definitely delicious, I haven't ever tasted anything this wonderful. You have very talented chefs my Queen." She smiled at Gwendolyn once she was done chewing.

"More like King Aldwin does... I've hardly even been here for a month, and even then, I haven't contributed much at all. I have just been living here," Gwendolyn's smile lost some of its light, "I hope, in the future, I can be an asset, and make a difference. It has always been my dream to be able to make a positive impact in the world."

The young woman immediately went to comfort the Queen. "I am positive you will my Queen! You are going to leave an impression on this land, I can tell. You are so much better than all of us and I can tell that you will do absolutely wonderful things." Clementia gently rested a comforting hand on Gwendolyn's arm.

Gwendolyn leaned her head towards her newfound friend, "I am already very grateful for you, Clementia. Thank you for you kind and heartfelt words. With your support, I can believe it to." Gwendolyn lowered her voice and moved away from the previous topic, "Perhaps, with your husband eager to be in King Aldwin's favor, you could stay longer..."

Clementia smiled at Gwendolyn happily, happy to have helped the Queen with moral support. The woman supposed that everyone got a little nervous about their titles, Clementia sure did. It seemed impossible that someone so perfect could ever have the same worries the rest of woman-kind did, yet here Gwendolyn was, proving Clem wrong. "Ah, I would hope so as well m'lady, but we didn't pack for an overnight stay. I am sure my husband would like to stay but he would never wear the same clothes twice, and he would never let me be seen outside wearing the same gown two days in a row." Clementia heaved a sigh, she did wish to remain here, but she doubted she'd be able to, she was just starting to make friends, with the Queen no less!
