It was nice for Xevons irritating ways to get under someone's skin other than her own. Seeing her father so bothered was satisfying, but Isadora drew back in as plans were starting to be made. Isadora was never afraid of travel, especially if there were gaurds present. Her father could likely be credited for the majority of her shy, hesitant nature.
The king shifted his gaze to the other before sighing a defeated sigh. "We can secure an escort by night fall, if not sooner. It won't be difficult to gain," her father said, seeming to regain some of his composure. With the way the war was progressing, they needed things to happen as quickly as they possibly could, so the sooner they were able to leave, the better. |

The prince dipped his head, squared his shoulders and glanced back toward Isadora. "Is that going to be too soon or can you get packed in that time?" He prompted, drawing a response from the silent princess on the couch beside the king. He couldn't hide a slightly smug smile once again. It fell slightly as his grandfather tutted. "You two haven't eaten yet," the servant scurried out the door after alerting the old king. "Tsk tsk, that won't do! Go, go, get something to eat and then come back!" The old man flustered the pair from the room, pushing them toward the kitchens. "Goodness, no wonder. Go and eat, let it settle and then come back." |

Isadora smiled and nodded, confirming that she'd be ready. "It's plenty of time indeed," she said, her voice starting to betray the sense of satisfaction she felt. She'd received a pointed look from her father, which she gladly ignored. Isadora looked forward to getting to experience what it would be like to be away from her father for once. To be able to act as her own self.
Her eyes widened ever so slightly as his grandfather tutted, ushering the pair out as he'd discovered they'd yet to eat. She couldn't help the giddy giggle that escaped as they left the room and she grinned up at Xevon. "Thank you.. I mean it," she said softly, looking up at the prince as the pair headed for the kitchens. |

Xevon let out a weary noise, almost shaking his head as the old king pulled the doors closed. He chuckled idly and sighed, setting his hands on his hips for a moment or two. As she spoke, he glanced over toward her, looking down and then huffing. "What, like I was going to just let him steamroll over me?" Xevon let out a short laugh. "I'm not my grandfather. I have my father's temper, y'know." And not a clue what to do with it. But that was beside the point. "Either way, I suppose we should figure out something to eat," Xevon rubbed the back of his neck. "Any... suggestions?" |

Isadora grinned, shaking her head at his words. "Well it suits you. At least, you use it well, I mean," she explained, wishing she was bold enough to stand up to her father in the same way. "Obviously I'm not a confrontational person, so having someone do what I can't was nice,"she shrugged before thinking over his question.
"If you're hungry enough, I could cook up some omletes to go with fruits," she offered, her gaze settled on the halls before them. Cooking had became one of her passions, though omletes werent exactly a difficult thing to make, she could make extravagant dishes when she wished. Plus, she didn't see point in bothering the staff just for the two of them when they were so busy already. |

Xevon let out a short noise and shook his head lightly. "I guess it... helps when you don't really care what they think about you. What matters most is what is done. They can think the worst of you, but if you do what is best, then that's what matters most." He paused for a moment and then looked toward her before chuckling. "Isadora, like we would touch the kitchens? The head chef would have my head! No, no, she will cook for you. Anything you want, she can make. It is her pride and joy." |

Isadora resonated deeply with the words he spoke. She never cared what people thought of her, she just always knew that at the end of the day, her father had control over her. Of course, it would seem now that things would be changing. Even if it wasn't for her, Xevon had stood up for how things should be. He'd given her a part in the affairs that concerned them.
A soft giggle escaped from her lips, a smile even tugging at the corners. "Well that's fine too! I just thought I'd at least offer. It is nice to experience someone else's cooking, after all," she added, a softer look on her face as she gazed up at Xevon. Their own chef had been positively baffled when she'd caught Isadora in the kitchens, covered in flour as she tried learning to cook. Eventually, their chef had given in and aided in teaching the princess the basics. |

Xevon flashed her a wider grin, far more mischievous and maybe a little bashful. "Well, to be fair, I did try and at least cook something. But I burnt it to high heaven and below." He shook his head lightly, chuckling heartily. "That's what I get for spending most of my time outside, goofing off." The young man shook his head, still chuckling. "It is nice indeed. Maybe you can get on her good side," Xevon mused idly. "I'm sure you could. You know how to cook as long as you're at least somewhat respectful... everything should go smoothly," he shrugged. |

Isadora laughed, shaking her head. "My first time didn't go so well either. Our chef walked in and I had flour all over myself. Thankfully, she ended up teaching me to cook," she told him, not afraid to admit how her first time had went either. "I'm so hopeless when it comes to anything out doors," she admitted after the fact, remembering the first time she learned to ride or try to use a weapon.
Isadora smiled at his words, her heart somewhat fluttering. "Perhaps so. I'll have to get a feel of things and try talking with her one day," she said softly, coming to a slow as they soon reached the kitchens. |

Xevon let out a warm noise, almost a laugh as he finally let out a weary breath. "Oh that's good. I mean, covered in flour is far less dangerous and embarrassing than burning what was supposed to be... I don't even remember... soup?" The prince waved one hand idly and glanced up as the head chef immediately spotted him and raised an eyebrow. "Down this early?" She seemed slightly confused, if not surprised. "Here I'd thought you wouldn't be down for another hour or so. What can I make for you?" The woman waved her hands, tying the apron around her green skirts. |
