Jax's gaze lingered on Noah seeing he was still looking at Emma, it caused alot of conflicting thoughts to run through his head, he was confused to say the least as to why Noah was still staring at the woman. He heard what Noah said to him and smiled "Thank you, you look gorgeous aswell" he spoke with another small smile, it was true that he thought that but then Noah always looked gorgeous, just even more so in a suit. The thought made him chuckle and he went with Noah as he made his way over Millie. Jax listened to what she said and raised his eyes at the comment but couldn't help but smile as Noah kissed him again. He mostly just quiet as he listened to Noah and Millie talk, it was entertaining enough and took his mind off all his previous thoughts, he was atleast beginning to enjoy how the night was going but then again it had really just begun.

Noah stood next to Jax in the middle of the place, not quite sure what to do. He was hungry and he knew Millie had cooked some food and even had a bar near the doors. He shrugged and dragged Jax over to the food bar and got a plate. He of course ate everything he saw and stuffed his mouth with the huge bowl of popcorn which was supposed to be a snack and not for the dinner meal. Then of course the moment was ruined. He was met with a cough and looked behind him. "Oh sorry." Millie was standing in front of him, of course with her arms crossed. "We are eating as a family. I don't appreciate your dirty hands in the popcorn bowl, not to mention you ate 4 sandwiches that were for my sister and mother." Noah chuckled nervously and gulped nervously. "Sorry. I'll wait." Millie smiled and patted Noah on the shoulder, then turned around to give Anna a kiss. While Millie was busy talking to her family, Noah couldn't help but grab a handful of butter and popcorn, he shoved it in his mouth before Millie could see him. Of course there came Luna, who was supposed to be locked in a room but like always, she knew how to open doors. "Who's a good girl? Yeah that's right, you are!" Noah grabbed another handful of popcorn and fed it to Luna while grabbing a small piece of salmon and fed it to her too. "Good girl." Noah bent down and gave Luna a kiss then looked up at Jax. "You didn't see anything." He smiled then broke into a small laugh. He then of course grabbed two handfuls of popcorn and ate it too. He then went over to Jac and smiled while kissing him passionately. "Did I forget to mention how beautiful you are? Because I will keep saying it over and over." He smiled again and kissed Jax again. Emma wasn't even on his mind at this point, all his attention was on Jax, giving him his undivided attention.

Jax scanned over the many people that were at the party, no one was doing anything remarkably interesting or nothing to grab his attention anyway so he just kept to looking at Noah who was distracting enough. He went with Noah as he dragged him over to the food and chuckled seeing how he started to eat all the food, it didn't surprise him at all though. Of course Jax wasn't hungry so just stood around and kept his gaze on Noah, well until he noticed Millie who went to stand behind Noah. He listened to what she was saying to Noah and couldn't help but smirk and bit his lip to hide a laugh. Obviously his gaze stayed on Noah and he watched as he took more popcorn, smiling as he saw Luna enter the room. Jax listened to Noah and nodded before chuckling quietly, it was admittedly funny to watch and didn't surprise Jax in the slightest. His smile grew as he saw Noah come closer and kiss him. Jax felt his farm warm as he heard Noah and chuckled quietly, he leant into his as he kissed him again and wrapped his arms around Noah's waist, only wanting to be closer to him.

Noah couldn't help but keep his smile on while staring at Jax. He was completely zoned out and a few minutes later, he found himself kissing Jax, sure it was a bit cheesy to watch but Noah didn't care. That is until Luna came up to him and whined. "Aww what is it girl?" Luna then went to the table where all the food was. "Oh no. Millie will kill me if I feed you anymore. You gotta wait." She then barked which got everyone's attention which Noah didn't like. He chuckled nervously while looking around. He could see Millie running after Luna, "What the hell is Luna doing out here!? Get her into a room!" Noah nodded and grabbed Luna by the collar and led her into a nearby room then came back to look at Millie. She was clearly pissed. The room was quiet until Luna barked, people did speak quietly which Noah liked. "Sorry." Noah announced. He gave Millie a hug, placing his hands on her hips which Emma was watching and just rolled her eyes. A man came up to them, at this point everyone had gone back to talking. "Oh wow, I didn't know you two were together. I was rooting for you guys in college." Millie had recognized the man as her friend but Noah didn't remember him. Noah chuckled awkwardly and looked down at the floor. Like always, Noah blushes and Millie denies it. "We aren't together." Millie then led the man away from Noah to talk to him in private. He was still flushed with the question but looked at Jax instead of watching and trying to hear what Millie was saying. He just smiled at Jax and started eating more popcorn because he was nervous. After a few minutes, Millie went on the stage. "Alright guys. I hope you guys are ready for some food! There is food where Noah is and there is a bar across the doors. Enjoy!" Noah then moved out of the way so people could get their food. He was greeted by Millie's parents, the ones who bought Millie and Anna the penthouse for their wedding gift. "Oh hey!" Noah noticed them and started talking. "Oh well hello Mrs. Ling, how are you doing these days?" Noah smiled and stood up straight, trying to look more presentable. "I'm doing well!" He chuckled while walking over to Jax's side. "This is my boyfriend." He smiled, wanting to pass the attention to Jax which he would probably regret later. "Hello! Nice to meet you! We are Millie's parents."

Jax smiled as he looked back at Noah, for the moment it was easy to just forget about his thoughts and what had happened and just focus on Noah. He leant into the kiss, just forgetting everything for the time until Luna distracted Noah. He listened to what he was saying to the dog and chuckled as she barked and saw everyone turn and watched as Noah went to lead Luna back to a room. Jax watched as Noah went back and gave Millie a hug, it didn't exactly bother him where his hands where on her but it still brought back a few of his previous thoughts. His eyebrows raised as he heard what a guy said to them and wandered closer to Noah, giving him a small smile back. Jax still didn't want to get any food so stepped away as people started gathering around and closer to Noah where he was with talking with some people. He listened to their conversation and smiled as Noah introduced him, "It's nice to meet you too" Jax spoke with a small nod of his head.

Noah smiled and tried to get Millie's parents to talk to someone else. His social battery was drained and he didn't want to talk to anyone but Jax and Luna, and maybe Millie. After a few minutes, the couple left Noah alone and he sighed of relief. "Alright, let's get some food!" Noah grabbed Jax's hand and led him behind a line to get food. "Woah! Food, here I come!" He didn't have to wait long before he got another plate filled with mashed potatoes, a sandwich, salad, bread, chocolate, and a drink. After his food was overflowing the plate, he finally sat down at the very long table in the center of the gathering. "Hey! Who took my sandwich!?" A woman yelled and unfortunately for Noah, he knew exactly who she was. Millie's younger sister. He bent his head down in guilt and started eating his food quietly and slowly. Before he knew it, his plate was stolen. "Hey! Zula, give that back!" Noah got up and ran in front of her. "Make me! You ate my sandwich didn't you!" Noah smiled while looking down. "I wouldn't say that…" He trailed off and started to whistle. "Asshole!" Zula then started eating Noah's plate filled with food. "Hey! Now that's not fair!" Zula chuckled and stuffed her mouth with potatoes and chocolate. Unlike Millie, Zula was more playful, she just graduated from a 2 year college so was 24, 11 years younger than Millie. "Hey!" Noah ran up to her and tried reclaiming his food back but he was too late because Zula was pretty much a pig and could eat anything in the matter of seconds. Noah sighed in defeat, "Not fair." Zula then gave Noah the empty plate but then looked at the strange guy behind him with a lot of tattoos on him. "Who's he?" Noah turned around and noticed she was questioning Jax. "Oh that's my boyfriend, Jax." Zula's eyes widened, "Your boyfriend!? He looks like someone came out of a tattoo ink place and decided to get a shit ton of them! He also looks like a criminal, I don't trust him." Noah chuckled awkwardly and just stood there, not quite sure if Jax knew what Zula was saying.

Jax mostly just listened to the interaction, the party wasn't going the best but was better than he had originally expected it to go so he was slightly enjoying himself, it was quite a simple party though, nothing too drastic. He shook these thoughts away and gave a quiet chuckle as Noah dragged him away towards the food. It didn't surprise him that Noah was so excited about getting some food, Jax chuckled as he watched Noah fill his plate up and got some food of his own up, just a few sandwiches and abit of salad. He went to sit down next to Noah and just started eating until he realised what was going on. Jax looked up, slightly confused as Zula took Noah's food, and just watched quietly. He turnt his head as he heard Zula speak about him and raised his eyebrows questioningly, he couldn't exactly blame her for thinking that but chuckled anyway and went back to his food. It wasn't like he wasn't used to hearing that alot so it didn't really bother him.

Noah snatched Zula's plate out of her hand whenever she got her own plate. Unfortunately for him, Zula already knew what was up his sleeve. "Oh come on!" Noah crossed his arms dramatically. "Well get yourself another plate!" Zula yelled while stuffing her mouth with more food. "Fine! At least Millie isn't this heartless!" Noah yelled back, getting attention brought to him from the table. Millie sighed and got up, walking towards Noah. He knew he was in trouble so he bent his head down and his gaze fell to the floor, not daring to look at Millie. He took a deep breath, preparing his mental health for the worse. "Noah, out! Zula, come with me." Noah sighed and walked outside the penthouse, silently cursing at himself. He stared at the stars and for awhile, he thought Millie forgot about him. "Hey." He turned around and saw Zula. "I'm sorry for stealing your food." Noah rolled his eyes, knowing she was forced to apologize to him. "It's fine. You also owe an apology to Jax, my boyfriend for saying those things." Zula rolled her eyes, "As if. Your boyfriend is weird as hell. He barely even got any food!" Noah chuckled, "Well Jax just isn't a big eater like us and he doesn't exercise so I would imagine he wouldn't feel like eating all the time." Zula giggled, "So no six packs for him then?" Noah scoffed and playfully pushed her. "Jax doesn't work out but it's enough to get him some six packs." They both broke into laughter.

Jax just watched what was going around him, Zula taking Noah's plate, it was entertaining enough to watch. Soon though he raised his eyes hearing Noah and everyone turning to see. He bit his lip as he saw Millie stand up and watched as Noah got up, he wondered if he should go out with him but left it and got out his phone seeing a text from Damien asking how the party was going. Jax glanced around before getting up from the table and wanted to take a walk, it was just abit loud and not really his scene so wanted to go for a short walk just to clear his thoughts. At a far away enough distance where it was quiet enough he got his phone back out and replied to Damien 'It's going alright, just abit busy' Jax sent back and rested his head on the wall behind him taking a few breaths, just clearing his head.

Noah couldn't help but notice that Jax wasn't in the house when he entered. He sighed and looked over at Millie with a questionable face. She just shrugged and continued listening to what her parents were saying. He just groaned slightly and knew what Zula was about to say. "Well, he dumped you. Time to move on." Noah rolled his eyes, "He's probably just taking a walk or something." Zula scoffed in disbelief, "Right, as if. I'm not surprised if he decides to ditch you out of the blue or running off somewhere dangerous." Noah walked over to where Millie was, completely ignoring Zula. "Hey." Noah joined in on the conversation and was having a good time, having Jax in the back of his mind still. Anna was talking to Zula after awhile. She seemed pretty hyped to see her older sisters wife. Anna looked exhausted from Zula, she was obviously talking her head off and Anna looked like she could smash her face into a wall. The thought made Noah chuckle. "What's funny?" Millie turned to look at him. "Oh nothing, continue on." Millie looked puzzled but just ignored it as she talked to her parents.
