Tristan pinched his lips, keeping back a torrent of cruel words. He didn't want to yell at the demon, but when the other guy finished, he rolled his eyes. "I'm sorry that she's so damn jumpy. It was her fault for going in a window. There are doors for a reason."

Ajax stiffened, his eyes hardening further. His jaw clenched, and his hands formed fists, claws digging into the skin of his palm. "And I'm sorry that your bird's scared of everything. Maybe you should keep a closer eye on her to keep her safe from all the 'scary things' here." He snarled. "And we use what's convenient for us. If it's faster to use the window, we'll use the window. Not everyone can be perfect like you angels. We're from a hellscape, remember?"

Tristan sighed. He was done arguing with the demon, and quickly dropped from the gazebo roof, walking back to where Adina was. He scowled as he sat down, still annoyed. Most likely, the annoying male demon would think that he'd won the argument, instead of just being pigheaded and stubborn.

Ajax smirked and stalked off after watching the angel walk away. He felt slightly guilty, thinking back to when they had seemed to get along, and may have even became friends, but that feeling was quickly swamped but the anger he felt when he remembered what he had said about Echo.

Adina soon decided she had enough flowers, and Tristan helped her carry them back up to her room. They opened all the windows, and filled the room with fresh air, and the blossoms she had picked. It was a painful reminder of their old home, and they sat in silence for a few minutes. But then Adina wanted to explore the Embassy, so Tristan took her arm, and they began to wander the building.

Echo woke up with a start, calming down when she realized she was in her room. She realized that Ajax must have carried her to her room, but when she looked around, she was disappointed that he wasn't there. She got up and walked down to the kitchen to sneak some food, feeling hungry.

The two angels wandered the floors, finding some interesting rooms. If they were getting along, it might have been fun to try some of the things there, but most of the games involved three people. Finally, they found a small table and chess set built into the wall, and they sat down, and started to play.

Echo grabbed some food and went outside, finding Ajax. "Hey, Jax." She smiled lightly, hugging him. Ajax chuckled and linked their hands together. "Hey, Ek. You doing better?" Echo nodded.

Tristan was desperately hoping that the demons wouldn't go looking for them. The whole thing was leeway bad enough without them at each other's throats. He was barely paying attention to the game, and Adina beat him easily.

The two of them walked around outside for a while, just chatting. "It's almost dinner." Ajax suddenly said. Echo sighed through her nose. "We'll have to see the angels then, The adults will be coming with the outfits and rings for the wedding tomorrow."
