Killian hoped that Flower Boy wasn't still asleep, because Ian had much more important things than escort the other man around all day. Regardless, the guy was Ian's responsibility, he had gotten involved due to Ian after all. So unfortunately, Ian was heading over to his other house to check up on the guy and possibly drive him over to his apartment so he could get his shit and not complain about having no clothes. Killian slowed to a stop in the driveway, hopping out of his car and closing the door with a slam. He hoped that this would alert Flower Boy to his presence though he highly doubted the squish of a man would realize the car door was from his own drive way.

Rhys had been half-dozing on the couch when he heard the door slam. If he was being honest, all of his senses were on high alert. He was completely freaked out by this whole gang-thing, and kind of wanted to just hide in a hole. Sooner of later his body would crash - but that wasn't happening yet! Rhys peaked through the blinds and recognized Ian walking up the driveway. He grabbed the keys from the kitchen counters, and opened up the door. Ian had already gotten pretty close to the house, so Rhys nodded at him, "Are we going to get my stuff?" He didn't want to just assume that was the plan, but he was ready to lock the door and hop in the car if it was.

Ian stopped as Flower Boy walked outside. He nodded, hands in his pockets as he spoke. "Well yea, we are. Two of my guys are already there, they'll be watching our backs so we don't get jumped on again." There was a harder edge to his voice this morning, and he looked unbelievably stressed. He was to tired to hide it from Flower Boy, though in front of his gang he'd have to put on a mask so they would not think him weak.

It was Rhys's nature to be concerned about everyone, so after he locked the door and the two of them got in the car, he turned to the other man, "Are you having a hard time sleeping? Or just not enough time?..." Rhys trailed off, his nose crunching up, "I have some herbs for tea at my apartment - I can grab those and give then to you. It might help you relax." Tea always helped Rhys calm down after a frustrating or stressful event. It also helped him regain his energy after being drained from doing magic. Rhys realized he probably wasn't the best person to be asking Ian if he got enough sleep. First off he was a total stranger, and secondly Rhys knew the bags under his eyes were awful too.

Killian smirked at Flower Boy's concern. It was odd to have anyone other than Avery even notice he was upset. "Are you worrying about me Flower Boy? Well don't waste a thought on me. Sleep will definitely be hard to come by in the next few days, but don't you worry your pretty little head about it. It truly is none of your concern as long as you stay away from your apartment, and probably me as well but I don't think that's going to happen." Ian stared at the rear view as he pulled out of the drive way, avoiding Rhys' eyes.

If Rhys were in a cartoon, there would be steam coming from his ears, "Hey!" There was a tiny bit of hurt in his voice, "I might not know a lot about being in a gang or doing chaotic things, but I do know that rest is important, and if I can do something to help - why shouldn't I offer!" Rhys knew he appeared to be about as threatening as a snail, but he could handle himself. Sure, Ian didn't really know that, but still! He did save the other man (even if it was after Ian tried to kill him, but that was beside the point!!), "And geez, the way you talk it sounds like I'm obsessed with you! Well - I'm not. I just need to grab my things, and then I'll chill out in that house until its safe to go back, and you won't ever have to see me again!"

Killian's face suddenly softened, the teasing grin slipping off his lips. He just seemed...tired. "Thank you for your offer, but seriously, you need to stay as far away from me as you can. I'm helping you in very small ways, and that's all I can do after getting you stuck in this shit. I'm sorry for that by the way. Seriously, I didn't mean for you to get involved. Hopefully, I can get this stuff figured out soon and you can go back to your normal life, and stay there this time. Being in a gang is a last resort, and I truly hope you never have to get that low in life." Ian stopped talking and kept his eyes on the road. Not knowing what else to do.

Rhys just stared at Ian, open-mouthed gaping at him, "You sound like a tragic storybook character," He remarked, "The main character who pushes everyone away because you are 'too dangerous.'" He leaned back in the car seat and let his head bump against the head rest, "And, well, I mean, I consider us even. I let you steal a bag of groceries, then you break into my apartment and try to kill me, and then I save you from that other gang -" Rhys sat up, "Hey - Maybe I'm the main character! That means it is my job to forgive you for the stuff you've done, since you are helping me now." Rhys grinned, "And have you met me? I wouldn't hurt a fly. I really don't think it's in my character arc to turn into a fierce gang-dude."

Killian said nothing for a long, long moment. He'd never had the best life, but he'd went a completely different way than Rhys had. In a household where it was common to walk into a room and yell at other people and get into fights with siblings, Ian had never had the chance to be soft. Whatever had happened to Rhys had changed him, but not in the way it had Ian. "If that's what you want to do, then go ahead, but I'm just trying to warn you. You seriously shouldn't even forgive me, I literally tried to kill you. Maybe you're the guy that goes to the asylum or something, you seem a bit crazy." For once, Killian didn't sound maliscious in any way, if anything, it sounded as if he was just playfully teasing Rhys. Like a friend would do. Truthfully, Killian was just trying to redeem himself after almost killing this normal guy.

"My craziness happens to be my best quality, thank-you-very-much," Rhys laughed, "And you are forgiven for the attempted murder and for speaking from your butt at times." For Rhys, it was pretty obvious when Ian was intentionally being mean, and when he was trying to be friendly. It was weird to hear from him. Rhys couldn't quite match that personality to the image of Ian in his mind, but he didn't mind being surprised this way. It was nice to see some emotion that wasn't just "DIE, DIE YOU ************!! I'LL KILL YOU!" Rhys liked this new side, but he wasn't naive enough to believe it would stick around for long.
