"And," Magdalene added, "The fastest route while also not making us pass through The Pirate's Grave," The Pirate's Grave was well known for the ghost pirate ships that ran its seas. No one has ever been able to pass through that section of the sea alive, or with their ship intact, "Or though the other strait where random whirlpools appear, and suck down ships." Magdalene shrugged. She just wanted to get there efficiently, get the treasure, then not have to stay on the ship of another pirate.

Carwen nodded, she cared for her crew, all of them, and hadn't wanted this treasure hunt to be too dangerous, some of them had family after all. "Sounds good to me, I'd rather not travel anywhere near Pirate's Grave. It seems perfect honestly, though I'm sure there'll be dangers on the way, it is not my luck to have a perfect hunt." Carwen grinned as she looked down at the map again. This would be fun.

Magdalene rolled up the map and tucked it away in a trunk, shooting a glare Carwen's way, "Neither is it my luck," she murmured, "My proof is the fact that I am standing on this ship." The pirate straightened up to her towering height, and pushed her hair out of her face, "Ready to set sail?" Magdalene finally said out loud, instead of talking to herself.

Carwen had to cover up her smirk with a cough, she was the problem in Magdalene's book. Which was fine, because that 'problem' would make even more problems if she wasn't treated fairly or wasn't given her part of the bargain. Pixies were known trouble makers, and Carwen was not afriad to use that power in her to fuck with Magdalene. "Been ready for awhile, I'm ready to get back out on the ocean." Carwen shrugged, looking up at Magdalene with a slight anger, for once she really, really didn't like this large height difference.

Magdalene sneered at Carwen, as if knowing exactly what she was thinking, and straightened up even more, "Then let us get going. I'm ready to get this adventure over as soon as possible, so I can get on my ship again, and not have to share a space with you, pipsqueak." Magdalene tossed her hair back and walked out of the room. Something not many people knew about Magdalene was that she hated cramped spaces. They made her worried and sick, especially with the rocking of the sea. The broad and open deck did not cause any problems, and Magdalene was eager to get back to it.

A frown appeared on Carwen's face when the other Captain straightened, and it only deepened at the annoying nickname. It was Carwen's curse to be so short, granted she could have been born much shorter and then she'd be in an even worse situation. In fact, if she was any shorter, she probably wouldn't have ever made it as a pirate at all, let alone a captain. It was for that reason that Carwen got angry. "And I can't wait for you to get off mine, but untill then I have to tolerate you," Carwen muttered. Her pink eyes glaring at Magdalene's tall back as she walked quickly to catch up, then get in front of, the unnaturally tall woman. Stupid damn pixie genes, they always messed everything up.

"You were the one who wouldn't give me to key, even though I knew about the maps, and knew about the treasure," Magdalene grumbled, "This could have been avoided. So, when it all comes crashing down, know that it was your doing." The two finally got out of the cabin area, and onto the open deck. Magdalene took a deep breath, then went to help get the boat ready to leave the port. She'd leaving steering to Carwen.

Carwen rolled her eyes, crossing her arms as she walked. She didn't even turn to look at Magdalene as she spoke. "Well I wanted treasure and you needed help to get the key. So for now we have to deal with each other." Carwen sneered at Magdalene before parting ways, making sure the final preparations were done before they sailed off.

At last, the ship was ready to set sail. Haywood walked over to stand beside Magdalene, and noticed how the two crews stood apart, "Maggie -" Magdalene shot him a look, "Magdalene," he corrected, "Your crew and Carwen's crew aren't going to work together well as long as you two are at odds." Magdalene's sneer melted into a frown, "I know, I know... But I'm not going to be doing any apologizing to her." Haywood sighed, but that had been the answer he was expecting. This was going to be a long trip.

Carwen meanwhile, was arguing with Northcliff in hushe tones, her expression fierce. Although he remained stoic, the crew could tell that he was a bit upset. Whatever they were arguing about was soon resolved, and Carwen's face softened for a moment, and she just released a sigh. Finally her voice was loud enough for the crew to hear. "Yea, you're right Bear, I just don't want to admit it." The large man smirked and flicked Carwen's shoulder before walking over to the crew, the smirk soon disappearing though he didn't look as tense as before.
