After properly meeting everyone in the kitchen, and asking for the blueprints for the bridges to be brought to her room at the earliest convinence, Gwendolyn took to the halls. She wanted to get out of the way, as she was only a bother to the smoothly running kitchen. In the halls, at least, she wasn't hindering anyone's work. The problem was, Gwendolyn had no clue where to go in the palace. She slighlty remembered how to get back to her own room, but apparently not enough, as Gwendolyn was soon in an unfamiliar hallway. There, she saw another woman who also looked very lost, "Hello!" She said lighlty, offering a little wave, not knowing if the other would want a conversation or not.

Clementia looked up and immediately paled, it was the queen! Clem hadn't been expecting to see her so soon. Queen Gwendolyn's beauty was spoken of all throughout the land and now Clementia fully understood the rumors, the woman was a goddess. "O-oh my, you are Queen Gwendolyn. I am so sorry, I'll get out of your way." Clementia did not wish to be the cause for her husband's plan to go wrong. She was, in her husband's own words, 'to stay out of the way and be as invisible as possible to not disturb any royalty.' And that had been Clementia's plan, but she had gawked at Queen Gwendolyn's beauty for much to long and now she was put in a difficult spot.

Gwendolyn was honestly taken aback by the other woman's reaction, "Oh my - no need to hurry around... You look ill, do you want to see a physician? I believe there office is..." Gwendolyn looked around the halls, and then shrugged gracelessly, "Well, I honestly don't know, but we could find someone to ask." The poor other woman looked sickly, although as Gwendolyn looked more carefully and got closer... "Ah.... I see. A physician is not necessary, then? Your makeup is quite good - probably enough to food someone nasty?" Gwendolyn put her words lightly, and didn't drop her smile. The way she seemed so panicked at seeing her made Gwendolyn nervous, if she was being honest. Maybe there were awful rumors going around?

Clementia was taking up so much of the queen's precious time. She knew that if Brian found out that she was bothering the queen he would never bring her anywhere ever again. The woman practically melted when Gwendolyn somehow understood her situation from a competely outside standpoint. "Ah, yes, thank you for your concern my Queen, but it is merely a miniscule problem. I would not want you to have to hear my problems. Especially upon our first meeting, speaking of which, am I in your way? I would not wish to hold up the queen from her duties." Clementia looked around nervously, she didn't want anyone to get mad at her for being in the queen's way.

Gwendolyn put up her hands in a calming way, "Easy there, Madame. I do not have any necessary duties, so do not worry there," There was the bridge thing, but Gwendolyn supposed that could wait a little while. She felt awful to have caused this woman so much stress, and hoped Aldwin would understand, "I promise you, you are not in anyone's way. Please do not feel such worry or stress."

Clementia breathed a sigh of relief, the shakiness slowly leaving her body. "Ah, that is good then, I didn't want to interrupt any royal business." Clementia smiled a little to herself, relief evident on her face.

Gwendolyn made sure her smile didn't waver, "Do not even think of it, Madame... May I please have your name? It seems you already know mine, but I am Gwendolyn Stonewall." She curtsied, and nodded her head slightly.

The curtsy Queen Gwendolyn did towards Clementia made the woman's heart flutter nervously. The queen had just curtsied to Clementia. It was the most shocking thing the woman had ever seen, and it made her unbelievably happy as well. "Ah, my name is Clementia Bennett, and it is a great honor to meet you really." Clementia gave the queen the same greeting curtsy.

As Clementia rose from her curtsy, Gwendolyn spoke, "Well! Are you trying to find somewhere in particular? I do not know my way around the palace at all, so I will have to find someone to point me back towards my room." Gwendolyn laughed at herself.

Clementia smiled at the queen, oh how much different life must be for those of such high standing. Queen Gwendolyn was revered and respected, she was both beautiful and kind, with just the right about of independence that scared most men but also gained their respect. Clementia was much to nice and nervous, a rather quiet woman. She could never be as respected or feared as Gwendolyn. Hence why she could make no change in the workings of her own city. No one listened to such a docile woman though Gwendolyn definitely commanded such power. "Ah, I am not actually going anywhere in particular. I was just looking around, I've never been here before, it is quite possible that this is the largest place I've ever been to." Clementia smiled sheepishly, a slightly nervous look on her face.
