Luna crawled through the thicket and lead the pack, just behind Alo. Luna was followed by Daisy. Luna heard Nicky outside but Luna couldn't talk to her now. They had to get the wolves to safety. Then, Luna heard barks and howls that were her brother's. Luke? What are you doing?!? Luna thought, hoping that he wasn't hurt.

Emily was riding on Saudi's back when the commotion happened. She bearly had time to register what happened. She said "Sakdi what happened?"

sky could now smell the other wolves but couldnt see them yet. Luke do you see them she asked as she tryed to look infront of them, but failed due to the small path.

"Everybody is in front of me. At least I'm pretty sure they are." Luke answered Sky. He tried to look up ahead but the path was so tiny that he could barely look behind himself.

Skadi quickly made her way back the way the humans had gone. They were giving up the hunt for the night. Circling back towards the pack. She soon found them. Still going through the thicket. She flew ahead and soon could hear the sound of a rushing river. In the deep night sky only the moon reflected off the water. She let her keen eyes follow the river to a lake. The redwoods surrounding them on all sides gradually getting bigger and bigger near the lake. Flying though them was surreal. She was confident this was no humans land as it looked untouched. She hoped the humans they had seen were in their past now. Hopefully they didn't encounter any other humans in the future. Heading back she landed waiting for the pack near the end of the thicket trail, Which opened up into a small moon cast meadow.
