Luna cast a confused look at Nightingale, but didn't say anything. She wished the moon would just come back out already.

Kayla approaches where Wander and Mirai are, listening to their conversation. "Oh, I'm glad he's finally doing something useful for the pack instead of bothering the others," she says, relieved. "I'll go check on Beta, I hope she's better now. Mirai, make sure it doesn't take you too long to get back from the clearing. Have a good day," she says as she walks away from them.

"Ok, Kayla" says the young brown wolf. She looks at Wander "I'm going to the clearing to watch birds. Do you want to come with me?" Mirai loves birds, she really likes to observe them and learn from them.

"I'll tell you later. Emotionally, I feel like I ate a frog and am sitting in a puddle." I say, hoping Sparrowhawk will understand. It is not the whole truth, but most of it. Stress beat down on me like a wip. I am not sure how ai have managed to stay upright.

He sighed, and pressed his nose against her cheek. "I'm so sorry, love. That's hard." He didn't bother her any more about what she had said before, but he was dying of curiosity. What did she have to say? And why was she so stressed? Was it just the lack of prey? He felt guilty. He should have brought the prey today.

I staggered back to my rock. The bleeding had slowed but it was still painful. Who knew bears could actually be this strong? I grumbled to myself and cambered up onto my rock. I lay down and thought for a minute. Maybe I'm doing the wrong thing. Yelling at the Alpha... who knows if sparrow will forgive me... Who cares. He should be grateful I managed to stop the bear from killing him. My stomach growled. Ugh I'm in no condition to hunt right now. Best to sleep on it. I shut my eyes, and don't fall asleep for a long while. Finally I manage to drift into a restless sleep.

The yearling wags her tail, happy to know she will have company. "Great! Let's go then" she says and then starts walking towards the forest. The clearing is not far from there. "Who knows? Maybe we'll encounter some rare species."

I smile and lick Sparrow's wound. "Take care of that will you? If that bear comes back, I will it a piece of my mind. " I wag my tail and look at the prey pile. It is getting dangerously low. "I am going to go hunt."

"Wait! Stay here... I wanna be with you for a bit." He hoped that he could take care of her, get rid of some of that stress. And hopefully prevent her from running away to murder a bear, because if he was in this shape from one swipe of a claw, he didn't want to know what would happen to her if the bear was angry. He also wanted to talk about Persephone, and Skylark.
