After sitting down Kaitlyn felt her nervousness eased. Soon the man who she now knew as Kaiser started to speak, "Well Kaitlyn, I'm sure you would know more than I could hear so far. Being new in town has its disadvantages." Kaitlyn nodded in response, maybe I could turn his disadvantages into my advantages. She thought about this for a moment before deciding she might want to get to know Kai a bit more.

"Name's Kaiser but everyone calls me Kai. As for the new K-9 unit, everything I've picked up so far is that new officers are being assigned to the stations with new dogs."

“Unfortunately it appears you know more than me so far. I myself just got back Into town last night,” she paused thinking. He doesn't need to know exactly why I was gone, “after a vacation, just trying to see what I missed.” And hopefully trying to find more advantages on how to avoid the police.. Kaitlyn didn’t add this as it was obvious common sense. After all, you don't just go around telling every newcomer, “I'm a criminal!”

Kate became interested in the man, wondering what he did for a living and possibly where he was from. She began to study him and the thing that stood out the most was his tattoo, it was of a python. Kat could only see half though because the rest was covered by his leather jacket. To her it seemed like he was a biker of some sort, maybe part of a gang, although from the looks of it probably not. A bounty hunter perhaps? Nah- Kaiser didn’t seem the type, he more looked like he could run a gang.

Kaitlyn’s thoughts were interrupted when she heard Kai speak again. "Do you know where I could find someone to give me a tour of this place? I would love to see what this little town has to offer." As a matter of fact I do..

“Actually I do- Me, I grew up here, kinda, I'm pretty familiar with the town and the area.” Also various places to steal from.. Kat probably didn't know the place as well as some of the older people but she knew it pretty well, especially back alleyways and easy exits from buildings and even some of the history, although she was a bit limited on that part. Kaitlyn liked to think of herself as local. Does living here off and on for 7 years count as local?

Phantom's tail began to wag at Vera's kind words, her furry black tail began smacking against Cassie's leg as it began to speed up into a furious tail wagging frenzy, she could control her own tail but she decided to let it be and let it go with her happy emotion that buzzed inside of her. Other K-9 dogs in her other K-9 unit she had recently come from would never of said that she was "a good spirit" and had "good intentions" wen generally speaking she did. She looked at Cassie, grateful to have such a kind , understanding handler and felt guilty for running off so she pressed closer to her and looked up to Cassie with her deep brown eyes, in a " I'm sorry, really I am " kind of way.

Audrey smiled at Bear still holding her gaze until Whiskey gave a small woof and she turned towards Bear's canine partner ,Whiskey and her own partner, Maverick. She noticed Maverick looking occasionally towards the course so she spoke to Maverick " Gehen (Go) , You Can go race around the course if you want." She then turned to Bear and asked "Do you mind if Whiskey follows Maverick?". She didn't want Rachel getting angry with her for telling Maverick to go off and then Whiskey doing the same as Maverick and then getting told off.She didn't want that as it wasn't her intention.

Aspen looked at Kodak as he lay down by his feet. He had noticed a bit earlier, a few seconds ago, Kodaik had growled at the frightened dog. Aspen gave Kodiak a look but said nothing and just whispered to Kodaik "Sorry". Aspen didn't want to end Kodiak's trust in his new partner already and as soon as it had just started. It was wrong for him to use Kodiak as an excuse to go over and say hi to a cute boy. Aspen muttered "Coward" at himself as quietly as he could, probably only Kodail could of heard . As he didn't want Kodak thinking it was to him he whispered again "That was not to you". And then straightened up to face Alber.

Whiskey gazed eagerly at her partner as she wanted to follow Maverick to the course and show him what she had. Most of the dogs here didnt know she was in the military first, she was too young to remember, and rehab into the K-9 unit fogged her memory, all she knew was that she was a tough, young, bullet of a pup, and now she had a lot to do and prove as an older dog. Whiskey couldnt help but admire Maverick. He was a handsome dog, well trained, and well built. She maybe could learn a thing or two from him, but she knew she had to teach him some things too. Hopefully before anyone saw her she turned her head away as she caught herself looking at him in awe. 'Dont be weird Whiskey' she thought to herself. 'Give it time'

Whiskey perked her ears and huff/barked at Maverick. "You dont have to tell me twice." Her eyes brightened and her tail wagged for a few seconds before she looked for approval from her handler, and went racing after him. She followed him swiftly up and over the A-frame and through to the other side of the jump. They trotted off to the tube work, and hustled through quickly. Then it was off to the army crawl. "Try to keep up!" Whiskey teased as she bolted in front of Maverick to the obstacle. "Let me show you how this is done!" The female lowered herslef to the ground, keeping her hind quarters up slightly to shuffle her along, she did a lot of this type of work in puppy training in the military so this was a comfortable breeze through for her. When she popped out and was able to stand up on the other side she sneezed for some dust kicked up her nose. She sat up on the other side to watch Maverick crawl through. This was nice, and quite fun actually. "Cmon Mav! I still gotta kick your butt with the rest of this course." All the handlers saw and understood was barking, tail wagging, and playful rearing.

Audrey smiled at Rachel , the persons she loved everyday, and whom she called Bear. She wanted to know Bear better really. She didn't even know her favorite color. She didn't know much actually only that they had only got together recently and it would take time . She smiled and daydreamed her and Bear together with their dogs chilling at a calm not busy cafe , with coffees and they could chat endlessly about their favorite colors, why the became a k-9 handler and all that. Maybe , just maybe later on they sit together at one of their houses and share secrets and worries underneath a nice warm roof. Dreams... never got you far , only got you upset . She harshly thought to herself , after that she stopped herself from daydreaming. She couldn't get ahead of herself and Bear. She had switched stations for a new start , no because of the pay and not because old her colleagues. She just need a new station to work at and a new canine partner to smile at. She hadn't know Bear was going to to the same K-9 station as her until two days ago and she had rejoiced until her Dad said to quiet the music down. She gazed at the two dogs ,smiling at the two dogs racing across the obstacles course but keeping an ear out for Bear's voice.

Phantom nodded and called to the leaving retired K-9 that was known as Vera. "Nice meeting you!" And then turned once again to her K-9 handler , Cassie and wagged her tail so fast even Phantom thought it was going to fall off. She was so happy to have Cassie as her handler, she seemed kind, understanding and she said what she wanted and was nice . Phantom suddenly felt that annoying itch she couldn't scratch and had use Cassie as a scratching post by rubbing her back on Cassie's hand until te itch stopped. Phantom then lay by Cassie's feet after boudin around them a few times. Phantom was excited but know she knew she wasn't overexcited so she knew what her brain and her paws were going to do next. She felt free and happy when she was like this. She looked up into her handler's eyes with love and happiness. She felt truly happy when she around Cassie and felt ashamed about running off to Vera earlier.
