Katie walked down the river further. She didnt really mind the fresh air it gave her time to think. Katie wanted to see Red-star. She kept walking hoping to find him. She kept walking and finally saw a waterfall.

Noctem nodded understandingly and laid down in the grass a tail length away. He was going to miss his parent's greatly, but he couldn't obsess over them. They would be fine, so Noctem decided he'd stop worrying so much about them and try to focus on his new life. He just wished there was a way for him to tell them that he was alright. Noctem looked back at Black-Sun. "As a pup, did you ever want to leave your home and see what else was out there?" he asked.

Kayori gets up and stretched. She would then start walking in a random direaction. Kayori woud start to think about what everyone is gonna do now. She would eventually finds a pond and she goes to sit by it. Kayori would look into the water, watching the fish that swam around.

Black-Sun thought about her life as a pup. "Well, when I was only 6 months old, I wanted to know what was beyond our river. I...tried to swim across but the current was too strong. My mom heard my yelps and rescued me. I...I'm glad that she heard me or I could've been lost. Once I got older though, I learned how to swim and finally swam across with the help of Red-Star. We eventually found a meadow and went to play in the meadow every day. But your question....no, I didn't want to completely leave my home. I just wanted to wander around and then come right back." She said. She was glad that Red-Star had helped her. They had worked together and then, Black-Sun wondered what had happened to Noctem. She was a little afraid to ask, for Noctem seemed a little sad talking about his family. "What....happened to you?" Black-Sun finally asked, hoping that Noctem was fine with the question.

Moon moved out of the way barely in time, and when she got her bearing straight, she rammed into the wolf's side with her head. Not even phased from hitting the wolf, she said "I don't run." calmly.

Alaska felt the violent slam of the other wolf. She took a step back, took in a few breaths, and shook herself. She growled at the other wolf as she lept towards them, aiming to sink her teeth into her back.

She moved and felt pain in her leg. The wolf bit her in the leg. she started trying to shake the wolf off.

Red-Star had been looking for about 30 minutes straight for one different fish. Just one. Except all of them were SALMON!!! There would have to be at least one different one....right? Red-Star was going to give up when he smelled Katie's scent. Red-Star sat down and whined, still holding up his hurt paw. "Will Katie still like me? Yes...yes she will, now get up and go find...." Red-Star thought, looking over to see a black figure in the water. "a fish." He finished his thought, limping through the water to attack the fish. He sunk his snout into the water, missing twice before getting ahold of the fish. Red-Star picked it up out of the water and threw it on the grass. "Finally, a good fish for Katie." he whispered, collapsing on the ground next to the fish. He looked at it. It had whiskers and blackish-gray scales. It was about 16 inches long and about 5 pounds. Red-Star smiled. "I hope Katie likes this." Red-Star whispered before laying his head down on his paws, waiting for the fish to be completely deceased.

Noctem sighed and corssed his paws in front of him. "I was hunting with my brothers when the humans caught me," he said. Although he had resolved to move on, he still missed his family. His rowdy brothers, his quiet sister, and his parents. "We used to hunt a lot together," he said quietly. "Even my brothers from a younger litter. We were always trying to outdo one another, and on that last hunt, my youngest brother accompanied me. I think he wanted to watch me and try to learn my techniques." Noctem looked off into the horizon. "I hope the hunt went well," he sighed.
