Arlin Mentions: Flame Arlin wraps an arm around his wife's shoulders, and snuggles against her side. "Hmm, you need rest too, Flame." Twirling a strand of her hair around her finger with a loving smile on his face. "Go rest up. I'll make us something to eat." A quick kiss on the cheek, then he takes off in the direction of the kitchen, and starts making dinner. Using whatever he can get his hands on to make some good quality food for his little family and that stranger. He drums his fingers along the surface of the counter, waiting for the boiling potatoes to soften to mash it much easier. "I need to go back to that island and get some of Dark Cloud's research. I need to see what Ghost Lily's powers would be." Sighing, the anticipation and worry of what his daughter's would be creeping into his mind. Glaring down at the ring on his finger, and thins his lips. "Leonas, you jackass, what would you do when Ibex weed suddenly sprouted?"

Flame | M: Arlin, Ibex(ind), Sky & Malaki(ind) "Hmm, you need rest too, Flame. Go rest up. I'll make us something to eat." Arlin said, smiling lovingly down at her. She smiled back before saying, "I will go get some rest as soon as I get rid of those bodies outside. Better to get rid of them before they start rotting." As Arlin headed into the kitchen, she headed outside, noticing Sky and Malaki checking the perimeter. Good, they were doing something useful and were not bored. She stopped in the middle of the bodies before breathing out slowly. Her fire ignited one of the bodies, moving to the others but not harming the environment or the house. The fire brushed over the bodies, disintegrating them and leaving the earth peaceful. Once all the bodies were disintegrated and gone, she extinguished her fire, heading back inside. Walking into the room she left Ghost Lily in, she shifted into her fox form, curling up beside the little child.

Malaki: Mentions: Sky "I know I'm not alone, but sometimes it feels like it. When we all thought Ibex was finally gone for good after the first round of fires, all the others went on with their lives. You saw Arlin and Flame, they have a daughter. I don't know what Shadow might be thinking or doing but I do know Cero is in charge of his gang, he doesn't need us. And the others have each other. The only ones I had was my sister, Amber and Shi. Amber and my sister are now dead and Shi is who knows where killing off any human that even looks at her wrong most likely. I do have you now, but what if you die? I don't know if I can keep living if all of my friends keep dying off," Sky said before realizing she was rambling again. "Sorry, we probably should be worrying about Ibex, not my personal life," She joked. Malaki stopped and looked at her. "I know what you're saying Sky. After I escaped Ibex I was out on my own... no parents, no money, no friends, no nothing. I spent many a night out on the street wondering if I would ever be able to escape the hell I found myself in. But you know what I did? I kept pushing through, I don't know what inside of me kept me going, but I kept going, and now I'm glad I did, because now I'm surrounded by people just like me, including you." He warmly grinned at her before continuing. "There was a song I remember hearing. I don't remember the whole thing, but when I was at rock bottom I heard the lyrics 'Don't forget your life's your own, don't ever let it go!' I didn't know it then, but it was the kick in the ass I needed to take control of my life and not to give in. I know that you lost your sister and your friend, but I would give everything to have the amount of time you had with them. Keep those memories of those that have passed in your head Sky, because they live on in those memories that you have of them." He stopped to consider his words before speaking again. "In war, you not only have to fight physically, but also mentally and psychologically. If you can outwit and demoralize the opponent, then you can win battles by just showing up. Ibex wants us to feel hopeless, like we can't do anything to change our lot in life, but they don't realize that they gave us the keys to beating them: our powers. Yes our powers are all different, but while they have to rely on guns and stuff like that to fight, we can use the abilities Ibex gave us while they performed the experiments and take the fight back to them." Malaki felt like he should hug her, but something stopped him from doing so. "Sky, I'm sorry that your past was really rough, but now, in this moment, we can change the future. By destroying Ibex, we can live without fear, and that starts today." Malaki took a breath, feeling relaxed after letting it all out.

Sky | M: Malaki Sky listened as Malaki as he stopped and talked to her. He finally finished with, "Sky, I'm sorry that your past was really rough, but now, in this moment, we can change the future. By destroying Ibex, we can live without fear, and that starts today." She blinked at him warmly before turning her head, "That makes sense." She thought for a moment before saying, " 'No matter where you go, there will always be a threat. It could be Ibex, falling, or getting back up again after every bad thing that happens. The trick is that no matter what happens, you fight for your life on your feet.' That was one of the things Amber would always say. I forgot about it until now." She closed her eyes before looking over at Malaki, her old gaze coming back. A light in her eyes made her eyes flash purple for a moment as she smiled to Malaki, "Thank you. I needed to hear that."

Malaki: Mentions: Sky "Thank you. I needed to hear that." Sky said, her eyes flashing purple for a brief moment. "Not a problem Sky." Malaki said, giving her a side hug before continuing the patrol. "Well, as much as I would like to keep talking with you Sky, we really do need to get back on patrol." He stopped his hug and began walking again. "Really Malaki? You try to get some momentum with Sky by trying to make her feel better so that you can one day become her boyfriend? And you say I'm the scummy one." Malaki ignored Benny once again as he walked with Sky, feeling more comfortable with her now that he talked with her.

Sephtis and Angel Mentions: Each Other Sephtis was wrapping up both the girl's arms in bandages, and his eyes were dull. A hum in the man's throat, Angel sitting in silence, extremely angry at the man wrapping her arms. "You're a confusing man, Sephtis. Threatened to throw me off only to pull me back." The girl's eyes narrow, uncertainty and fear in her golden eyes. "What are you planning?" Hearing that, Sephtis only smiles, "I have many plans, child. I'm quite surprised that a seven year old can speak fluently." Giving her a small, sorta compliment. "That's what happens when Ibex changed you aging process." Hearing that, Sephtis clicks the roof of his tongue. "Traumatic for you and your mother, was it not?" Angel frowns harder, not trusting him one bit. "I suppose so. Anyways, what's your game plan? Whose side are you really on?" The girl growing impatient, a chuckle left the man. "I'm on my own side. I'm here to make the fire burn hotter. Truly, it's fascinating from my point of view. Ibex and the runaways. Role switching of cat and mouse, a term that better describes what's going on between both sides." His eyes glows, his smile growing wider, "If I leave the runaways alone, they would get too powerful and overthrow Ibex without trying. Tire them and their energy out by sending my abominations. As for Ibex," he starts laughing, "I don't always give them the right information they need. Let alone help capture the experiments they want. I can't let the fun die out too quickly." "I'm sure my beloved Stevens would be pissed, but I don't really care about that. I'm more into the fun. I'm more into seeing people die in so many different ways! I envy those who can, Angel." Placing a hand on top of her head, the girl's eyes widen in fascination. "When I do, I need to train someone to take my place. So many candidates, but none caught my attention yet...except for one." Patting the girl on top of the head, "You. I want you to be my apprentice, Angel. Train under me. Learn the ropes. Your a clever girl and would catch onto it so quickly." Helping her to her feet, turning her around so she can face the abominations that's been standing behind him the whole time. "All this power could be yours. A whole entire army to control." He kneels beside the standing girl, his smile never did left his face. "All I need you to say is yes, my granddaughter." Hearing that word, Angel's eyes widen, and she turns to face him. "Gra-you're my grandfather?" The girl was shocked, and the man, of course, wasn't. "I'm a Crowe! My father is the biological child of-" "-Me." Sephtis cuts her off, tilting his head when seeing the girl's face paled. "Whose my grandmother? Whose the mother of my father?" Sephtis shrugs, "Could be anyone, really. I don't have a clue on who it can be, child. For all I know, is that you're my blood and one of my few worthy heir of my powers."

Ero I M: Jericho Ero turned her head in though, trying to think of how many. She decided to answer what he had asked, she couldn't see anything wrong with the question. "Yes, many. All of them are dead obviously, since I've been able to move on. I'm not sure exactly what is wrong with me, but I just can't... I can't let go. I killed a few in self defense, the rest killed themselves." She said, thinking back on a few of them. She had no choice but to coop them up and it took a toll on them, which had led them to try and escape or try to kill her.

Jericho was at a loss for words. "Well Ero, that's... interesting. Um... why did they kill themselves?" Jericho carefully asked, now slowly tensing up again.

Lucille I M: Nakao and Karasu Lucille looked at Nakao, anger ceasing slightly when he apologized. She felt her child in her arms shift around to be protected against his mother, he was still scared of his unknown father. "I have a tool bag somewhere around here." She mumbled, trying to come up with what it say to him. He wanted to stay, he seemed apologetic, maybe it would be alright if he stayed for awhile. "Listen... I found out I was pregnant awhile after you were taken and I didn't want him either. But I decided to take a chance on seeing how I would be as a parent and I'm actually not the complete screw up I thought I would be. You should try to take a chance too for once instead of being scared." She told him before going in another room to look for the toolbox. She gently set her child down the small boy standing on his own too feet, but wrapping himself completely in one wing except for his eyes that peeked out. He was watching his father, the man that had yelled at him, very closely. He had taken his mother's hand with his and followed her very closely as they walked into the room. Once he was out of sight of Nakao he frolicked around while Lucille started to look for a toolbox. The child grabbed a stuffed toy and started to play with it, making Lucille smile.

Ero I M: Jericho Ero thought before answering. She never quite understood why they would kill themselves when held with her, she only had to have eyes on them 24/7 and never let them do anything outside. Not after they knew about her powers that was. "They didn't like being kept I think. They kept trying to run away from me, called me bad names and tried to hurt me. So to help them get used to being around me and make them happy and love me, I put them in a special space where we could stay together, in a smaller space with no way of escape and nothing to hurt me. They always seemed... off, but they were humans. Maybe humans are different than us? They seemed sensitive and tried to hurt me, but I didn't let them, I used my powers. Then they seemed to go crazy, but I never could figure out what caused it." Ero said, thinking deeply, but finding no answers to her dilemma.
