Harper Carnell | 21 | Genderfluid (she/him) | Pansexual Ambi | Blood-Gifter

M: Finley + Quill (dir)

Harper watched in helplessly in terror as Quill stalked closer, step after step after— then the vampire froze with a sickening groan as he clutched his head, growling words under his breath that Harper could not hear in her daze as the man was now no longer looking at Harper. Quill trashed as if a monster clashed against the insides of his brain while his kusarigama crashed into the wooden floor. After a moment of struggling and clutching his head in stubbornness and agony as he fought whatever plagued his mind, suddenly someone spoke in a voice that was not Quill’s.

It was a clear, sharp voice that held an authoritative voice with cold apathy for the person they addressed. It was the voice you would imagine as the robotic villain or oppressive overlord in those storytelling radios that have grande tales yet instead this voice belonged to that of a hero. Glancing back to the man behind him, Harper was able to identify him much better now as her eyes finally began to clear and become less blurry. With a dapper suit and prestige posture, a man with long white hair into a neat ponytail and only monotone clothes and gold accessories. His white, tightly pressed and exquisite suit, that looked more expensive than Harper could ever afford in her whole life, had only a single stain of blood, Harper’s blood. Although the single stain caused Harper’s eyes to linger on the man’s chest— no, the man’s suit— his eyes were striking enough that Harper tore her eyes away from the stain to stare. With glowing white pupils and icy blue irises that Harper could see more and more clearly, Harper was amazed.

Someone was actually standing up for him and he looked like a genuine hero.

Harper was left with chills as a ringing invaded his ear once the man’s powerful voice stopped giving instructions. At the sudden silence, Harper instantly felt less secure as his head quickly snapped back to Quill, his heavy boots stomping back towards Harper yet again. Unlike a sadistic smile or charming smirk, Quill’s features were unusually blank and unsettlingly emotionless which caused Harper to shrink in his spot. Closing his eyes as his heavy black boots thumped against the ground, Harper’s brain concocted all the horrible scenarios that could play out. Harper had not been paying attention to the words the man in white had been saying so the man could have very well been instructing Quill to not just take Harper back home but to do unspeakable things to Harper. Laughing internally at himself for being so stupid as to conclude that he had a hero to aid him, Harper was sure that Quill would crush Harper’s ribs again with a slight pressing of his heels or drag Harper back home by his hair or even worse…. Harper swallowed hard as he could feel the vibrations in the floor from Quill’s boots before Quill stopped. Hesitating, Harper opened his eyes to see Quill kneeling in front of him, carefully resealing the wound on Harper’s neck before standing, turning, and walking out of the door like a marionette on strings.

Harper stared in utter shock, wordless for once in her life as she stared at the frame of the door Quill had torn down moment ago. Harper never even knew blood vampires could heal wounds let alone take the blood out of the clothes and return it to the body, despite still leaving blood on his hand from when Harper had tried to stop the bleeding. Looking back at the man in white, Harper looked with uncertainty to the man before him as he extended a gloved black hand. Taking the man’s hand cautiously with his hand not covered in blood, Harper stood upon shaky legs. Harper stood for a moment in shock pure once Harper was pulled to his feet before lunging at the man before him, throwing his arms around him. Harper did not have the words so he just hugged the other tightly, not sure of what to say as they were careful not to let their bloody hand touch the man in the slightest.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you…!” Harper mumbled, a smile carving her face as she buried her face into the man’s shoulder. Harper quickly pulled away in a brief moment of clarity that she should not be touching him without permission as she chuckled nervously. “I… uhh… thank you. I know you are probably just looking for blood and whatnot but…” Harper chuckled again as she looked away and played nervously with a white strand of her hair. “Jeez, this is really unprofessional of me… I don’t even know how he—” Harper remembered how the blonde vampire from before sliced her arm and how, despite having the opportunity to clean up the blood, she forgot. That was probably how he found her. Harper’s laugh grew slightly louder as she smacked her forehead so hard enough that Harper hoped her brain could just shut off and restart before she ruined the chances of looking good in front of her savior. Plus, she also did not want him to think that she was not worth saving and ask for some favor later on. “I’m— I’m sorry you had to deal with that. Stupid fuckin’ me wasn’t thinking. Go figures, right?” Harper went silent and chuckled weakly as some of her cynicalliness and self deprivation leaked through. “I don’t have much money, but I promise I will pay you back if I ruined your experience!”

+Finally deciding to get up off the ground near the little boys grave she brushes back her black hair releasing a heavy sigh. Turning around and going to walk out of the cemetery, waving goodbye to spirits that she either talked to or missed the opportunity to talk to and fixed her clothing when outside. Her shoes felt uncomfortable but she kept them on and grumbles+
.
+She should get home soon...wait there was a meeting that was going to happen that all the vampires where suppose to attend. Shaking her head and giving her self a soft pinch for forgetting she looks around the graveyard once again and smiles promising herself to came back later when the meeting was over or if she ends up sneaking out of the god forsaken meeting. The queen died right? That's why they are all gathering around? Puffing up her checks she turns around once and and releases it when she catches sight of something...or someone?.
.
+Tilting her head at the shape of a human she decides to follow maybe she can steal a quick feed while she is at it. Speeding up her tarcking she soon realises her mistake as this was only just a human but a vampire, a soul class just like her. Shrugging her shoulders knowing she should really head Bck she decides to follow the vampire making sure to keep out fo sight from him and the little spirit girl he seemed to be following+
.
+After a while of following the male she gasps as they stop and quickly hides her self behind a tree losing her eyes opening she dosent get caught. Peeking her head around the tree she widens her eyes and watches the the male starts to do some sort of ritual her sire never taught her...well he didn't stick around so he technically didn't teach her anything. Rolling her eyes to her self she continues to watch with amazement, taking out her small notepad and pen to write down notes and pictures of what where happening in front of her+
.
"If I am lucky maybe I can same day do this...though I dought it I am only still young"
.
+Lifting her eyes from her notepad she continues to watch and amusement nodding as she takes same parts it and growing when she misses parts as she was writing another down in her book. She lifts a hand up to scratch her head with her own and pokes the top of the tounge between her lips as she tries to consintrate+
.
+As she writes a small spirit of a dog was trying to get her attention pulling on her dress and and growling slightly. She ignores the pup and continues to watch though tilts her head as she feels something bad has happened and gulps. He might need same blood after this...but I shouldn't leave just yet a little while longer to see what happens+

Lovel | 26 | M | Hunter/Blood-Gifter | Human

Mentions: Davorin (ind.) and NPC (dir.)

Lovel was sitting at the bar stool and chugging down an entire mug of watered-down rum. He was silently listening to the drunken patrons and the loud cheerings of his fellow customers. He turns his head as he hears a table break, watching the scene of two men fighting over something probably petty. Lovel chuckles, listening to the people cheering on the fight and telling them to swing. He shakes his head, yet a smile on his gorgeous face. "Idiots." Saying it in a genuine voice before removing himself from his seat and paying the bartender the right amount of coins.

He ties his light brown hair in a loose ponytail after gliding his fingers through it to loosen it up. Lovel was beautiful for man, and he was not afraid to show it. He has a more feminine features-his voice is lighter than your average man's. His looks pull vampires, humans, and other creatures like an addictive drink. He'll flirt with them, but that doesn't mean he likes them. In his eyes, everyone was using him as a piece of trophy to attach to their hips to show off. He was a married man, yet for the wrong reasons. Lovel's ex-fiance was using him for a prize and nothing more, with Lovel loving her with all his heart. After that event, he hated commitment, and the thought alone made him make his pretty face turn sour. On a similar topic, he hears sharp whistles from a group of men, and in reply, Lovel gives them a charming smile. "You sure you're into a man, you blind bastards?" He was teasing them, with the group of four not taking his words seriously, and they laughed. "Maybe, Pretty Face!" The man finishes it off with a hearty laugh, Lovel's face still carries the smile, but underneath, he cringed in disgust.

When the group kept walking on the opposite side of the street and away from him, Lovel's tensed body relaxed. His whole posture was calm-comfortable. Ugh. Hearing those words made him feel disgusted about everything-his face, mainly. He quickly digs into his pocket and pulls out his mask to cover the lower half of his face. The upper half of his face was exposed, though it was hard to check his facial features. Wearing this mask made him happier about himself-it made him feel accepting of his appearance. Yes, Lovel loves his beauty but hates it when others love it for the wrong reasons. For a better term, he hates it when people admire him for their gain. His eyes gaze at the darkened sky to gaze upon something marvelous. The stars shine above him, and the moon is ever so beautiful. The chilly winds tickled his uncovered face, and his body shivered in delight. His boots crunched the thin layer of snow beneath his feet, his ears enjoying the sound of it all. It's the kind of beauty many should focus on: the beauty of the night with the stars shining eternally and the moon its sole illuminating light.

The night was peaceful and quiet, with so few people (excluding the vampires) barely wandering around. There were little noises from both humans and machines. His ears take in the sounds of nature without rude interruptions. Lovel's two-colored eyes have never seen anything quite beautiful as nature. Yes, he had met drop-dead gorgeous people before, but they lacked other qualities and were the rudest of folk. They were so used to getting everything without trying. It turned them into the vulgarest of humans to communicate. So many will attack a person with poor features for the same thing as one with good looks did. Lovel experienced this firsthand and hated how savage someone acts with another with a misfortunate face.

At this point, Lovel has grown tired of socializing with people and kept to himself most of the time unless it was for business. "People are so tiring," his voice muffled behind his mask, "and I'm tired of being tired." He shakes his head and turns down the alley to take a shortcut home. Lovel muttered to himself to come up with plans for tomorrow. Gradually, his legs slowed down until they stopped when he saw someone perching against the wall. His radars went off instantly at the sight of the stranger, and they noticed his presence as they turned their head to face him. Their glowing eyes made Lovel guess what they were, and his lips curled into a smile, "A vampire in the city? How marvelous." His tone was flirty and full of warmth, Lovel's eyes gleaming with interest.

"I'm here to speak with you. Not cause any disputes between us." The vampire shakes their head, and Lovel's smile falters. "Blood, I'm guessing?" The vampire's eyes widen in fear, which causes Lovel to blink in surprise. Now he was curious as to why the vampire became fearful-like he was afraid of the consequences of drinking his blood. He knows that look, and he knows who's behind it. Without waiting for a response from the vampire, Lovel answered for him, "Davorin, isn't it?" Hearing that name, the vampire nods their head too quickly. The two-eyed man narrows his eyes, thinning his lips in displeasure. "What does he want with me after days of not talking?" Questioning himself in his mind, crossing his arms together lazily, he turns to look down at the snow-covered ground. Lovel started to feel hurt about his actions. To him, it felt like Davorin was using him and then tossing him away after using him. Now he was doubting himself: could his blood not be tasteful to the vampire? The man felt a wave of grief hit him hard, and he nervously drums his fingers on his arms. Were all those words he said about his blood being delightful a lie? Lovel's fingers twist a small piece of his hair, and his eyes darken.

"I-um. He asked me to invite you. To a meeting," the vampire takes a quick look around, "and I'm here to bring you to him." The words that left the vampire's lips made Lovel smile a little. Relieved that Davorin hadn't forgotten about him, but it didn't make Lovel happier. "Right. Just give me a moment. You're free to walk with me." The other was shocked but nodded his head and followed after Lovel, who quickly left the alley. He walks down the street to reach the local jeweler, wanting to find a gift for Davorin before meeting up with him. "He likes shiny things, fancy ribbons, and the sweetest sweets." Whispering the things that the vampire liked but naming them made Lovel a bit jealous. He turns his head to stare at the vampire, "What powers do you have?"

The vampire takes a second to reply when a couple walks past them, moving closer behind Lovel. "I'm a Hypnosis. Why are you asking?" Lovel turns away, a hum in his throat, and a playful smile appears on his face. "No reason at all. I need a few favors from you." He hits up stores to get a couple of gifts for Davorin, with the help of the other vampire, of course. Lovel has a golden-diamond necklace, nice fudge brownies with chocolate stuffing, and a beautiful golden silk ribbon. "That bastard better appreciate this."

His acquaintance stares at the gifts enviously, wishing that it was him. Lovel caught wind of his resentment, "As a reward, would you like a sip of my blood?" The blood-gifter knows that Davorin gets jealous over his things, yet Lovel wasn't one of them and sure as Hell not accepting such a role. He made it clear when their communication was nonexistent for days. Lovel will be petty about it and won't hold back on it. Hearing such an offer, the vampire nervously grins, "If you don't mind." The two duck into the alley, holding the gift bag tight against his chest while the vampire prepares to feed on him. Lovel was still while his fangs were in his neck and felt no pain when they drank from him. Shuddering as he felt arms coil around his waist. He kept his mouth shut, though he did start to feel dizzy from the process.

═══ ⟮✿⟯ ═══

Mentions: Davorin and Skya (dir.)

Lovel was sitting in silence with his vampire escort sitting beside him. The other's arm slung around his shoulder. He felt uncomfortable but didn't dare to complain out of fear they'll get angry. His neck was sore from the feeding. Oddly enough, it was a quick healing process. When the carriage stopped in the middle of nowhere, the human was concerned that this would be where he'll die at the hands of the stranger. When he hopped out, he stumbled a bit yet regained his balance. When his escort got up, the two walked deep into the woods, with Lovel unsure where his destination would be. "I'm sorry if I drank from you too fast." Lovel side-glares that vampire, who was rubbing their neck anxiously. Guess he was afraid of getting caught by Davorin, and Lovel understands his fear.

The walk was long and tedious; however, Lovel was used to such an obstacle. Before his life as a hunter, he served in the royal castle as a knight and personal guard to one of the princes. His body has scars, but they were minor cuts and healed quickly. Lovel's hands were soft, as he kept them safe with gloves while using any weapon for sparring or combat. On the outside, Lovel appears to be a man working in a brothel due to his looks. Underneath such an innocent face is something dangerous. His opponents make fun of him for his woman-like face and regret it once they're on the ground. Not to mention the rumors that he slept with a higher-up to gain the status of a knight. Worse. He slept with a royal. Yes, they were pretty faces there, but he never stooped down to sleep with someone to get what he wanted.

That's why he adores Davorin, as the vampire knows how strong he can be and never treat him like some weak flower. Ugh. Thinking about him made his heart flutter, and he hated that. Lovel swore off relationships, but something about the other made his body and mind think otherwise. His heart starts to skip a beat, and his cheeks flush a light pink. He huffed to himself, "Remember. It's a business deal. Nothing more than that." Lovel was trying to trick himself. He wanted to deteriorate those affections, but his body followed other plans. His mind was starting to picture some lewd thoughts about them together, and his blushing grew worse. "Damn it, Davorin." Now blaming the vampire for his actions, "Why are you in my head, you bastard." His eyelids shut, inhaling the cold air sharply. The chilling wind was hitting his face. It was confusing his bodily reactions with the whole hot and cold thing. Internally, he felt warmth. Externally, cold arms hold him tight.

The vampire kept checking up on him, which did bother him a little. Was there something wrong with him? Is his face turning pale? Instinctively, his fingers went to his face and stroked his cheeks. Davorin would be upset for allowing another vampire to drink from him, but he shouldn't be too upset about it. Right? It was a partnership. Nothing more. Nothing less. Yes, they were partners. Friends. Lov- Damn it, there goes his brain. He sharply sighs, his throat burning from the cold and causing him to cough. Lovel wraps the fur cloak tighter around himself, hiding the gift bag underneath it. "Are you alright?" His escort asked, fear in their eyes, but Lovel didn't understand why. Were his features exposing the fact that another vampire had drunk from him? If so, they're both screwed. "Don't worry. I'll sway his anger." Lovel reassured the other, yet it didn't calm them down.

When they reached the castle, he and the vampire parted ways. Lovel watches them go, "Farewell, friend." Completely alone now, the man started to wander the castle, searching for his companion. His body defrosted at the welcoming warmth, "I feel so much better. Davorin better has something warm for me." In silence, Lovel avoided the other vampires and kept his eyes forward. He minds his business, withdrawing himself from conversing with others unless he desperately needs it. After searching for a while, he left the building to check out the graveyard. His eyes observe the weathered-down tombstones. Some are readable, while others are beyond damage. He stops at one, leaning forward to check out the name as the engravings were still exposable. His curiosity ends with a frown when he notices that the language written on the headstone is something unfamiliar. A wording he does not know of, and it seemed ancient. "So much to figure out who you are."

Lovel heads in the direction of the creepy catacombs, and he could've sworn that he hears ghostly whispers. He kept going, wrapping the cloak tight around himself to protect him from unseen forces touching him, "What's with the Soul Class hiding someplace unwelcoming? Man," he shakes his head, "I have bad taste." He goes further in until he hears noises further on. Coming across the ritual room, Lovel leans against the wall and watches the scene in front of him. He acknowledges the other female vampire here by giving her a brief nod before turning his eyes onto Davorin. He kept to himself, patiently waiting for the ritual to be over and for the other vampire to check on him first.

When Davorin left the ritual room, Lovel followed in behind him cautiously. He held back and watched Davorin with concern in his eyes, "He must've done a ritual." When they were in the halls, Lovel catches up to him and grabs him by the hand. Next, he leads his vampire to an empty room and sits him on the bed. "Do you need blood, Davorin?" Like Hell he was going to use the nickname, as mentioned, he's going to be petty about it.

+Shutting the book in his hands with a loud thud he sighs and leans back against the tree he was sitting in and frowns boredom stricking across him. Shaking his head he opens his eyes and looks around the forest and grumbles something under his breath. Any normal human would be scared to enter this far in the woods without being afraid of being eaten or taken. Chuckling he places his book back in his bag and begins to climb down the tree slolwy landing on his feet he faces the tree once again and gives it a final pat+
.
+A sound fo a branch snapping behind him makes the male turns around quickly knife held in hand as he stays still green eyes scanning the dark places and the trees for the source of the noise. Smirking to himself he rolls his eyes they must be cowards or think they can't be seen. Slolwy standing up from his ready position he looks down to the ground the knife in his hand still held firmly but relaxed+
.
"You know you guys are suppose to be more stealthy and able to be quiet when tracking down a human right?"
.
+He looks up with a smile as he green gaze now catches a shore in the distance and roll his eyes once again. Guess he can never really get a peaceful moment beofre it's ruined and he either has to fight or sneak his way out of them. Sighing heavily he keep his gaze on the shadowy figure his gaze hardening and he glares, dropping his bag on the ground gently and rolling his shoulders around a little+
.
"Can we get this over with now so I am not late and so I do t get yelled out by my boss or I tell you know I will be rather pissed off"
.
+His normal sweet and soft voice from reading the book before was now cold and rough, his eyes also showing the same emotion as he tries to lure the vampire or whatever it was out of the shadows so he could see it better. Plus he was telling the truth if he gets any later he will be yelled out and get a lecture by someone or rather. Groaning he leans against the tree and waits his eyes never leaving the shadow but also he keeps his other sences high in case they weren't alone in the first place+

Garvin | 21 | M | Brinsexual Ambi | Blood Gifter(Suya) | Mentions; Jayco(Dir), Suya(Ind), Other Vamps(Very Ind).

Meeting Outfit; https://postimg.cc/gallery/Fcn9LBj

--

Why the Hell are getting closer to me?!?

--

Garvin didn’t think he was that scary, not enough for the vampire to look as terrified as they did. But the words almost made him laugh, though he supposed that wouldn’t exactly send a good message so he suppressed it as much as he could. And instead, shook the bottle slightly, as if that would be all the answer needed.

--

Ugh. You're a fool to approach me in such a state, mortal.

--

Garvin grinned at that, a bitter tone paired with a newly found relaxed posture? Either the vampire was bitter over having no reason to not trust him or the vampire didn’t see him as a threat. Probably both. The vamp was staring at the bottle though, and then grabbed it, inspecting it. As if Garvin has access to poison that could hurt a damn vampire.

--

The vamp recoiled after the first sip though, which Garvin had to bite his lip to keep from laughing. The vampire handed him the drink again, so he took the chance to go ahead and take another sip.

--

Jayco. Don't bother asking for the last name.”

--

Garvin glanced over at that, eyebrow raising and furrowing, stopping in the middle of a sip. For a split second, he was tense, because that wasn’t something most would say. Maybe Jayco just didn’t want to give him the last name..? Didn’t want to have any future meetings with Garvin?

--

I don't carry one.

--

And there went any hope for that idea down the drain. Garvin focused on taking another, larger sip. He’d have to patch up a blank, corroding tombstone for the fellow rat. Then again… Dude was a vampire, it was unlikely Jayco would ever actually die. His eyes narrowed, Garvin decided that a tombstone wasn’t needed. Not like the vamp was actually a rat in the gutter like he was. His mouth twitched in a mirthless smirk.

--

Jayco was humming, out of tune he noticed absentmindedly, Garvin assumed he was doing it out of thought. He didn’t really care to ask what he was thinking about. People thought about all sorts of things, probably. Garvin mostly thought about food, money, and stealing. And about what nicknames to use for people. Which meant he’d have to figure out something for Jayco too, but that could wait a moment.

--

Especially since he felt himself being pulled into the vampire’s lap now. The sudden change gave him and his reflexes just enough time to make sure he didn’t fall over or break the bottle. Jayco wasn’t humming anymore, but the vamp was pulling him closer with arms around his frame. Garvin glanced at him, raising an eyebrow in question. His grin was filled with amusement now though. “You know, apparently you’re supposed to take people to dinner first?

--

He was bent a bit, in a way that would give Jayco easier access to his neck. Garvin rolled his eyes, relaxing a bit. “Fine, guess I’m taking you to dinner then?” He watches as Jayco’s mouth opens, sharp teeth visible…

--

The teeth only graze his skin, and he doesn’t really react. He was long past the point of fear at a sharp option being against his neck. Even before this whole vampire blood gifting thing. The only real reaction was Garvin getting comfortable, relaxing. Jayco had the courtesy of grazing first to make sure he was aware so… Well, it wasn’t the worst position to be in. Frankly, it definitely wasn’t as if he minded it. The vampire had killed a bear! Fucking awesome! And hot. Definitely hot.

--

Garvin feels the sharp teeth bite down, doesn’t feel them break the skin, and then they’re gone again. And it takes all of his willpower not to laugh because wasn’t that a bit more human instead of vampire? That, and Monty’s reaction would be hilarious, he’s sure.

--

Something else touches his neck, something that takes Garvin longer than he’d like to admit to identify as a kiss. A… A gentle one, caring one. A loving one. As if Garvin was someone to… He didn’t like the idea, didn’t like the implications. Or, well, he did. But they couldn’t be true. So he shoved them aside and rationalized that Jayco was probably just making sure that it was comfortable, enjoyable on both ends. Maybe if the person was willing and enjoying it then that made the vampire enjoy it more..?

--

Jayco’s hands were moving, stopping at his sides. Tearing the shirt there. Was Monty going to make him burn this too now? It’d be a total waste, especially when he’d still wear it without complaint. Frankly, he hoped Monty didn’t make him burn it. The shirt was really comfortable and- Oh. That made more sense now.

--

Jayco was dragging claws against his skin under his shirt now, not breaking skin but definitely searching around. Definitely searching around. One went along the edge of an old scar he had, and he shivered. Jayco gave a predatory purr, and Garvin glanced over to see pride in the vampire’s eyes. Pride. Which was odd, so extremely odd when they were looking at him.

--

It was such an odd thing, usually people only held annoyance for him. A claw dragged across his side, right along the side of his left ribs. A kiss to his jawline. Garvin shifted to allow better access, enjoying this while he could was definitely high up on the list of things he wanted to do. Another of those bites that didn’t quite pierce the skin but definitely would bruise, this time at his jawline. He moved his own hands around Jayco’s neck, arms resting against the collarbone and shoulders. One of Jayco’s hands moved up, downright caressing his neck. There was no other word for it. Garvin allowed him better access, and definitely felt it as Jayco took a bite that actually broke skin.

--

And the dam broke with it, it seemed. A kiss against the blood gradually flowing out, loving and gentle and mind stalling all on its own. It almost felt sincere even, and if Garvin didn’t have such trouble believing in things like that? He might’ve believed it was. At least it stalled the disbelieving thoughts for a moment.

--

Jayco’s claws slid across him, just hard enough to break the surface level of skin, he gasped but made absolutely no move to get away. And Garvin wasn’t a masochist, he didn’t think, but damn if this wasn’t hot as everloving fuck. He even had to stop himself from leaning forwards as Jayco pulled back, examining him as if he were a work of art. Garvin was stupid enough to wish he’d never stop looking at him like that, staring and licking bloodied lips.

--

The hand on his neck moved up to the back of his head, and pulled him forward into an intense kiss. A kiss that was supposed to be reserved for people that weren’t him. And yet, there he was, stealing one. That wording definitely had him deepening it as much as he could, stealing was always good for him in his book after all, his own hands shifting to allow it. One went to the vampire’s jawline, and the other ended up at the back of his neck.

--

When Jayco did pull back from the kiss, and when Garvin allowed him to, the vampire nibbled his bottom lip to make it bleed before licking it. Garvin responds with a bite of his own at Jayco’s upper lip. He didn’t have any sharp teeth to make it bleed, but he could still manage to make it a noticeable sore.

--

Jayco smiles at him after pulling back enough, a charming one. An amused but sincere one. It’s odd, and Garvin can’t decide whether to push away or bathe in it while he gets the chance to. A chance he’ll probably never get again. The voice that was now free of bitterness kept him in place.

--

My apologies. I never did ask for your name. How,” Jayco was back to kissing his neck, giving gentle bites that didn’t break skin but would still be noticeable later, “rude on my end.

--

The words were harmless in nature, Garvin even knew that Jayco didn’t have a last name either… But Jayco was also a vampire, where last names didn’t matter as much because they would never die anyways. The words still caused Garvin’s mind to stall, and he decided he’d rather not think about everything that the tombstone on his back was there to remind him of. That he’d rather not think about everything that his name would connect to in his thoughts. His lack of a last name.

--

So Garvin gave Jayco a lovebite, right at the tip of his nose, and kissed between his eyes. His hands roamed, searching for any sensitive spots or pressure points that the vampire had, trying to push them closer without any true force behind it. They were too tense for that. And he spoke, in a rather quiet voice compared to his usual one, his tone a mirthless breathy laugh, “My name doesn’t matter, it’s not important.

--

And it didn’t, it really didn’t. He doubted it ever would. He was a street rat stuck in a gutter doomed to fade after death. There isn’t anything else for him when he dies. He’d be lucky to get a tombstone, a grave. And if he did? It would end up blank and forgotten. And all of that was if he was lucky enough to get a grave and tombstone in the first place.

--

But he didn’t want Jayco reading too much into it, didn’t want Jayco to figure any of that out. With his hands still roaming, still giving kisses of his own every now then, and without much conviction, Garvin added, “At least not right now.

Kiran Eros|Blood Gifter human|27|Male| M: queen consort and viv(ind) Umbria (dir) Rosalie(dir)
(☠️ If you see this on a post of mine that means that I am allowing death. You may choose to not use it but if it's there it's an option)

Kirans head snapped up as Umbria came running over to the vampire woman. She looked scared to death when she got close enough to recognize the female bleeding out. He had never seen the justicar look scared before. His own dark skin paled at the thought of what that could mean. Who was this woman to cause such a reaction in the blood class vampire. He looked back to the injured lady next to him, this screamed of silver poisoning.

"Princess Rosalie"
"Kiran back up she might lunge.."
Umbrias words trailed off as she took in the extent of the damage. She wouldn't be lunging anytime soon.
Seven hells he had found the princess. Thank the goddess he had she was in terrible condition. His mind seemlessly accepting the cultural deity's of the vampires rather than his human kind since he had stayed with them.
Quickly making a decision even if Umbria didn't like him sharing. That didn't matter this woman was important. Plus I doubt she's object in this situation. Especially after the loss of the queen so recently. Her mother. Kirans mind flashed to the death of his own mother and the years of abuse from his father after. Princess Rosalie's other mother was only a hall away. She didn't deserve to lose the love of her life and their daughter. Not after all the hard work she had put in that he had heard tale of. He had to do something. Standing out of his kneeling position to his full 6'5 height Kiran stripped off his long forest green coat. Leaving him in his black pants and his black tanktop. His brown leather body harness stayed on as well. Tossing the coat to where his fur cloak lay. Removing all his rings as well putting them in one of the zipper pockets of his pants.
With practiced ease he unbuckling his axe belt pulling it free. Separating the main belt from the weapons belt. That two was tossed onto his growing pile of garments. Kiran put the belt against the top of his arm. Wrapping it around treading it through the loop. Bitting into the leather and pulling it tight. The result was a tourniquet. Going next to Lady Rosalie not careing for his sense of safety at the hungry dying vampire. Pulling her limp form towards him letting her lean her back against his chest.
Taking his axe and looking at Umbria. "If this kills me dont bury me deep I fucking hate small spaces and if I have to claw my way free it better be fucking worth my while." He winked then With that he sliced his wrist and held it to the princess lips. A grimace on his face at the quick pain. Blood spattering up staining his long white braids that lay over his shoulders.

Gently speaking to the woman he held "Come on drink, she needs to get that silver out and you need the strength." He pressed his wrist against her mouth completely so she could sense it better. He was sweating as the blood ran down his arms. Breath speeding up as the pain got worse. She and hadnt even began drinking yet. So much for waiting till my 28th birthday. He had been guilt ridden for abandoning his brother those years ago and he had the option to do something worth something he wasn't letting himself down again.
Never again

Angelique Camilla Belmont | 1220s | F | Shadow Class | Archduchess | Mentions: Brosc and Tatsuya

After a while Angelique forgot what she had been looking for, and started to wander the dilapidated castle somewhat aimlessly. While she might not have ever been here before, a kind of sixth sense began to guide her towards the library, without her consciously thinking about it at all. One moment she was gliding through dusty, cobwebbed corridors like a wraith, and the next she stood before a pair of tall double doors, cracked and sooty with age. One door was slightly ajar, and Angelique was able to slip in between them with little effort and even less noise. A small smile formed on her lips as she took in the endless rows of dimly-lit shelves spread before her, her vampiric eyes able to pick out their names and authors even from a distance. Angelique hummed quietly to herself as she started off down the closest corridor, a haunting, wordless melody to accompany her as her fingers glided softly over the spines of the ancient tomes that called these shelves home.

As she moved deeper into the maze of books, Angelique’s keen ears picked up the soft sounds of people moving and speaking in hushed tones. Her humming died off, her steps quickening slightly as she moved towards the source of the noise. Angelique hadn’t been expecting trouble tonight, but with the assassination of Queen Vivienne fresh in everyone’s minds, it was entirely possible someone might be making a play for power. Or worse, Angelique speculated, the vampire hunters might be back, emboldened by their recent success and intent on finishing the rest of us. As the sounds grew louder, Angelique abruptly realized that her thoughts couldn’t have been more incorrect. The noises resolved into small gasps and moans, unmistakably of the pleasurable variety. Of course, Angelique grumbled to herself, the horniness of vampires knows no bounds. Bitterness rose in her throat as she remembered days spent with Cecilia, but she shoved it down and focused on her anger instead. Angelique rounded a final corner and came across two male vampires entwined against one of the bookshelves, both strawberry blond and dressed extremely elegantly. The taller, paler one was on top, and as Angelique came into view she heard him purr something before capturing the other man’s lips in a rough, all-encompassing kiss. Angelique covered the distance between them in a blink, her hand coming to land on the taller man’s shoulder as she hissed in displeasure.

“Honestly, have you no respect? This is a library for Goddess’s sake, not a trysting ground. I swear the younger generation has no deference for literature anymore. Next time you feel like having a roll in the hay, find a barn like the animals you are.” As Angelique moved to pull the two vampires apart, she took a closer look at the smaller man, who had been mostly concealed up until this point. She took in his burnt-sienna complexion and violet eyes, before heaving a sign as she recognized him.

“Tatsuya.” she said, voice flat with disappointment. “I’d claim I’m surprised, but when you get to be my age, you’ll find that very little shocks you anymore. I must say,” she went on, tone lightening somewhat and amber eyes brightening with humor, “If I’d known this was the kind of meeting we were having tonight, I might have chosen a different outfit.” She stepped back from the men, giving herself some space to inspect the vampire Suya had chosen as his partner tonight. Her almond eyes narrowed as she took the tall, slender man in, trying to determine if she knew him as well. When nothing came to mind, she returned her gaze to Tatsuya. “And who might your paramour be? You have so many, it can be difficult for one to keep track.” Angelique smiled at the men as she waited for their response, her anger gone and a dry sense of amusement left in its place.

Ava Cadieux

⸻⸻・⸻・⸻⸻
Female || Estimated Age { 300s } || Shifter Class || Harem
M:
Quill {ind.}, Harper, Finley
⸻⸻・⸻・⸻⸻

The smell of blood was far too attractive to leave be.

Ava had followed the smell of blood, but unfortunately, she wasn't the first to find it. Well, wasn't that irritating... Without needing to even glance, she could smell multiple figures in the same room, at least one human, accompanied by two vampires at the least. However, there was a faint smell of two other vampires.. so that would be, four? However they were faint, so possibly they were here previously, but parted ways, and left. She wished she could get a good look at them, she was told of everyone who was going to be at the meeting today and their ranks. Her source was very descriptive, which was quite helpful in identifying who she could mess with and who she couldn't. If she were to come upon a higher rank than herself, well, didn't need herself getting into a mess with someone of a higher position, but she wasn't too worried.

Staying outside of the room, she stood a good few 20ft or so away from the entrance, leaning against the wall with her back against the cold surface. Ava kicked her leg up, placing the bottom of her foot pressed against the same wall as her back, stabilizing herself from falling sideways. Ava didn't need to be right up against the wall of the same room, they were speaking so loudly that anyone in a good half-mile radius could hear. So she was in a perfect spot, and if she was lucky enough and that human was left alone.. she could quickly make her way into the room, and replenish her thirst.

Speaking of feeding, she forgot whether or not she fed on that worthless girl back there. If she did, she would be fine until the moon's peak, but if not, she'd only have a few hours.

Maybe... she could get closer, she'd have to become as small and quiet as a say, mouse, but she could witness a lovely show and pop up.. actually, no. Now that she really thought about it, that was a horrible idea entirely. Because, just her luck, a vampire in there could just be above her rank, and could kick her ass. She didn't need nor want an ass-kicking today.

Sighing, Ava rolled her eyes. But she was quite enjoying the chaos hiding within the room. From what could be heard, this Blood-Gifter was absolutely pathetic. Was this drama really needed for a simply Blood-Gifter? Honestly, who would go through all this trouble for a simple human-

A figure caught her eye, walking out from the torn doorframe, walking in the opposite direction of Ava. Oh, ho ho! This pathetic excuse for a vampire was causing all this commotion? She's seen him before, nothing seemed to stand out about him, except that his entire appearance said "nuisance."

Well, she was always in the mood to kick someone into their place, regardless of whether they needed it or not. As she stood up and began walking after him, she walked by the door, where she could see the Blood-Gifter and the other vampire. She stopped right in the doorway, and she stared at Harper, the smell of blood was so strong in the room, it could drive her crazy.

For a moment, she stood there silent, her pupils slowly growing more and more dilated. Oh, shit. Ava knew very well that if she did not feed enough, she'd go legitimately crazy, and it was not a pretty sight. Did she not feed on that girl back there? Or did she just leave the body? She swore she did.. maybe she didn't. Man. However, right in front of her lay a decent food source, scrawny and possibly tasting absolutely disgusting but it was something.

Taking her first step into the room, she was slightly stunned as the smell of blood strengthened. Man, it was like a war happened in here... whether or not the human was healed, the remains of the blood were just as strong. It ticked Ava off, how could someone be so sloppy?

Ava glanced over to see a vampire dressed in a formal white suit. From the way he dressed, Ava would think he was of a high rank, but she couldn't be too sure. She didn't recognize him, and her source never spoke of someone of his appearance. However, helping a worthless human out? Whether or not you were of the highest rank.. in Ava's book, you are the dirt she walks upon. Humans don't deserve such kindness, she would know.

Calmly, the woman walked towards Harper, a small faint smile on her face. "I really hope you don't plan on spending any valuable time with that human," she hissed, staring at the human with malicious intent. Her pupils were no longer dilated, if anything, they were the opposite. As if she had the eyes of a snake, her pupils were small black slits, looking as if they had the ability to stare at one's soul and rip it from their worthless bodies.

Walking up to the Blood-Gifter, she casually grabbed the back of their shirt, pulling them backward, wrapping her arm around their collarbone. It wasn't necessarily a tight, suffocating grip, but it was tight enough around that he couldn't squeeze from her grasp. She could hear their beating heart, their blood rushing through their veins. Ava clenched her jaw tightly, her focus locked onto the vampire in front of her. He was tall, but not as tall as she expected when she was standing in the doorway.

"I think it would be in your best interest if you'd leave us be. I like to feed undisturbed."

🍷- Mauve SinClair -🍷

High Lady|F, Born Vampire|500-600|Hypnosis|M: Quill(dir), Harper(ind),Umbria(dir), Rose(ind), Jayco(ind)

Mauve left her meal to clean himself up to the best of their ability. Hearing a shouted "the pleasure was all mine" come from behind her. She didn't turn but a smile found her lips. Rare that a humans humor got to her. Her long black silk dress clung to her body humming with energy as she moved through the halls. The slits up the legs showing off her long ivory legs. Her slightly over ankle height Red velvet boots clicking on the marble tiles in the less damaged areas of the castle.

Time to head back to the dreaded meeting. Just as she thought this making her way towards the ballroom. Mauve caught a wiff of Rosalie's blood again but stronger. The idea of her friend being hurt even more had her fangs on display and a low hiss rumbled in her chest. before she had a chance to investigate her pointed ears picked up the loud boom of the castle doors being slammed open. Jayco already made his entrance so I wonder who in the seven hells thinks they are gonna get away with that. She thought knowing the only one who would have the audacity to slam the doors during a time like this was indeed the shifter. His thread she picked up was no where near leading to the front of the castle. A thinner thread that was dark with malice and deceit moved its way towards her.

Mauve waited patiently for awhile as the thread she sensed had paused in a nearby room. She watched that same thread become taught and stiff as if someone was pulling hard on it. Another Hypnosis vampire is with them. A few moments later she could see it begin to move again and a male vampire rounded the corner. Scenting the air she could tell he was younger than her and he reeked of compulsive and narcissistic lies. As Mauve focused on him in the dim firelight her bright red eyes narrowed in suspicion then fury. The scar under the silver collar around her neck almost pulsed in memory. The male had red eyes like her old owner. And herself. He had a similar cruel blank expression on his face. Blood magic chains hanging in his hands dragging along the floor. Just like that evil vampire had done to scare her as a child. I'm no longer a scared child. This vampire has some nerve showing up infront of me like this.

While she didn't know everyone that was bound to appear tonight; she had been with the main court for about 40 some years now and most had at least heard of the Ruby flames past and how she used her skills to her own advantage and that of the courts now. So for this male to show up unannounced and blatantly disrespect her had Mauves normally very carefully masked emotions out in all its glory. He finally came to a stop and the chains disappeared. Most likely from him being drained using them to long and wastefully. His lips parted and began to speak.

"I was bid to tell the truth to the first vampire I found." Mauves eyes locked on his. Easily grabbing hold of his tether as it was already being manipulated. "Speak it then lowlife." She was disgusted with this sad excuse of a vampire already. "It started with an argument this morning." His face was blank like an emotionless, porcelain doll. "Harper stormed out today and was being disobedient and fussy so I decided to teach her a lesson. She outranks me quite a bit as a Blood-gifter, but she still deserves punishment." A twisted, loving, and uncanny smile broke on Quill's features. "Can you blame me though? Harper is always so cute when she is covered in blood and pleading for her life." Once he was done she locked him in place. Replaying his words in her head. This must be that humans last buyer. Mauve had her own opinions of humans they were food. Weaker but not to be abused. She didn't agree with humans abusing their own animals why would her own food be any different. This vampire was here just openly breaking code. Attacking hired blood gifters. Being disrespectful to ranks above them. While at the castle that was currently in mourning and disarray. Normally she would have reported and delivered the vampire to a justicar but this male hit too close to home.

"So you like to play with your food hmm" she purred. Not her normal sultry purr. Or even the teasing one. The purr of a predator sweet talking its prey. Mauve moved her steps bringing her forward and beginning to slowly circle him as she talked. "You like to make then cower than love you." Her eyes rolling as she sensed the stupid male agree. He really thinks I'm praising him. Is he this thick in the head or just that narcissistic. Knowing he was completely frozen in place she let out a bone chilling laugh of excitement. At that his emotions flipped from proud arrogance to confusion then to fear. Oh the sweet smell of fear in something you were not gonna have the unpleasantness of eating. He must have realized he fucked up because she felt him reaching for his power only to find barely an ember left after wasting it. Clicking her tongue as she appeared an inch from his face. "Tssk Tsk did someone run out of juice. Maybe I'll let you feed on me to get an advantage your Harper filled me up nice" watching with satisfaction seeing the anger that sparked in his eyes at the mention of feeding from what he assumed was his human. He even decided to take the bait. Like he had a choice. She was older at full strength and a high lady. He would need the advantage. She held up her wrist to his lips and he bit down as she released her lock on him.

The male hit the ground choking and spitting as her silver laced blood filled his mouth burning him. A smile reached her ears as she kicked him over pressing a healed boot tipped in silver to his heart. "Tell the lords of hell their favorite succubus says hello" she gave a sweet wave and plunged the boot heel fully through his heart. His colored tether to this world winking out. Leaning down she ripped a piece of his shirt to wipe the blood from her arm. Leaving his sad excuse of a body to rot where it lay. The staff would dispose of him when they cleaned along with all the other body's this meeting would most likely cause.

Pulling her long pale golden locks from out of her face. Her adrenaline was high and her senses where hightened as a result. Scenting the blood of her injured friend again and now the steady flow of human blood. Shaking free of the blood lust haze. Mauve had a more important matter at hand. She followed the scent over a few halls spotting a face she hadn't seen in awhile heading into a room. Carrying what looking to be not one but two forms. She followed and leaned against the door. She watched Justicar Umbria lay the forms on the rooms bed. Recognizing one as Princess Rosalie and the other a human man she didn't recognize.
Making a sound to announce her presence. She didn't feel like having a Justicar at her throat. "Need any help in here My lady Septimus?" Mauve hadn't seen the Justicar in a few years. The reason for all the vampires coming back and meeting couldn't have been worse. Eyes scanning rose up and down on the bed assessing the damage. Nails digging into the hip her hand rested on in veiled worry.
While she waited for the Justicar to respond.
