"Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" Ero asked, her grin sliding from her face slightly. "Not a scratch." Jericho bragged, knocking on his helmet. "That's why I make the armor to protect myself. Also, if I was hurt, I doubt I would be able to feel it. You see, when Ibex was experimenting on me they were trying to make the human body work at peak efficiency, which they succeeded to some extent; I now have extremely high endurance thanks to the experiments. However it came at a cost: the experiments also changed my nerves so that I can barely feel pain. A good thing under most circumstances, however it'll make it difficult to figure out if there is something wrong with me." He looked at the cut, seeing that some blood was seeping through despite the bandage. "Yeah that must not have been fun to receive. I'm sure you made those Ibex soldiers suffer for what they did to you."

Jericho saw her smile, but he could tell that she was in pain. "Well now I'm here to watch your back, so you won't ever get hurt!" She said, trying to divert attention off of her injured leg. Jericho took another look at the wound before looking up at her. "You're going to have to get that checked out sooner or later. If we're going to be able to fight Ibex, then we have to be in tip top shape." He said to her, before an idea formed in his head about her Telekinesis powers. "You know, I just had a thought. If your powers are strong enough, I can make some metal projectiles for you to fling at Ibex soldiers! Imagine: I turn a bicycle into a giant metal bullet, and you can use your powers to fling it around and take people out." Jericho moved his hands to really sell the idea to Ero. "Then again, if it's too heavy you won't be able to move it with enough speed to kill, but I'm sure we'll get there eventually." Jericho finished, running a hand through his hair as he relaxed slightly, the first time in several hours.

Jericho was slightly happy to hear that Ero could lift heavy things, which meant that his idea wasn't impossible, but when she asked how Ibex got him, any happiness disappeared. "I was 10 when they nabbed me: I was an orphan, dropped off at birth, so I don't really know who my parents were. Anyway I lived in that orphanage for ten years, hoping that one day a family would take me home. It wasn't a bad orphanage, don't get me wrong, but I just wanted a home. One day two men interviewed and wanted to have me. I figured at the time that they were a gay couple wanting a kid, but no, they were both members of Ibex wanting another person to experiment on. At first, the experiments weren't brutal in any aspect; they couldn't do much otherwise they could screw up the development of my body. Anyway the experiments and the tests would slowly get more intense as I got older, and when I hit sixteen, the age where I escaped using my Metalcraft powers, they treated me like all of the rest of the experiments, and they weren't using training wheels on me at that point anymore." Jericho exhaled, feeling slightly better that he finally had someone to talk to about how Ibex mistreated him.

Ero finished her story about Ibex captured her and Jericho nodded to it, seeing that she was once again smiling to hide the pain away from him. "Sorry to hear about that, Ero. But, the past is the past and we can't change it now, but we can change the future." Jericho reached at the floor and grabbed a can of soda. She seems way too happy about the fact that she knows how to kill others easily. That may be a problem down the road. "Now we're all where we rightfully belong: free in the real world!" Ero exclaimed, but it was clear that she was still trying to hide the pain that Ibex inflicted on her all those years ago. "Yeah, the real world." Jericho mumbled as he looked around, making sure they weren't followed. "Well, that's enough depressing stuff for one drive. Why don't we talk about something else?" Jericho cracked open the soda and began drinking from the can, hoping he could shift the conversation.

"So then what do you want to talk about then?" She asked him, looking up at him while she leaned on his side. Great. Now I have to think of some small talk. Wonderful. At first, Jericho couldn't think of anything, but eventually he thought of something. "Other than me, since you're clearly crazy about me, what is one thing you would want more than anything? Maybe you would like a fancy car, or perhaps a mansion, or maybe even something from a movie. What one thing would you like to have above everything else?" Jericho asked her, hoping to move away from the deep conversation they just had and hoped to make it a bit lighter.
