Alha | F | Alpha | Strays United | M: Harry Alha stretched out her limbs as it started to get dark out. Flicking her tail, she watched the very little movement in the medic's den. Her sister didn't seem to be in a good mood at the moment so she wouldn't bother her. Something that was bothering her though was the construction on the far side of their territory. She would have to watch out for strays that had fled Fang's pack that still hung around but she wanted to check it out. The humans were always moving it seemed.
Alha scanned the clearing, looking for potential dogs to take with her. Most of the scavengers wouldn't be back until the lights started coming on around town when the dog catcher was on his roundabouts. Her eyes caught onto one of the guards laying in camp. The male had come into her pack a good while ago but just after the rival dog pack met their end. Alha knew that he wasn't the best with wolves, why was another question though, but she wasn't going to run into any tonight. Hopefully.
Alha jumped down from her perch before walking over to Harry. She tapped his nose once playfully, like a pup would to wake him up before saying quietly, "Harry, I am going on patrol for the far side of town to the construction site. I would like it if you joined me." She stood in front of the male, awaiting his answer.

Sorrel | F | 4 | Eastern Pack | Scout | M: Most of the Eastern pack(Ind), Aquila, River. >< Sorrel's straight ear flicked as she crouched down barely a mile from camp. Her rear end wiggled, then there she threw herself forward into a flat out sprint. The hare she was chasing, whos coat had stood out now that it's hair was becoming a patchy white, tucked tail and bounced off. It's escape was hardly a match for Sorrel and her long legs. She bounded faster and faster, then she pouced. Thud! The solid sound of paws crashing down onto a body. Crackle, snap. There were the bones. She landed ungracefully, and unharmed, on her back. Snapping her teeth in annoyance at the feeling and forcefully twisting herself to her feet to make sure it didn't run away. As if the pounce hadn't ended the hare swiftly. She snatched it by the neck. Gods I hope no-one saw that, She thought to herself in embarrasment, I caught it though! She shook off, triumphantly trotting to camp. She felt very asssured that she had done good when catching it. Minus the flailing before her teeth made it onto the hare. Which she was very thankful nobody had seen. The rabbit dangling from her teeth bled onto her legs and chest as she moved along. She entered camp, voices from everywhere. She noticed Killjoy, Rags, a scout, and a new wolf? She looked around in curiosity, tossing the hare in the food pile, she was hungry but too curious to not peep in. She licked her lips as she padded to the den entrance, waiting for anyone to exit or enter before she walked into the doorway. Her eyes narrowed as she saw Aquila and River. Raven Pack? What was it doing in the medicine den of her pack? Her hackles raised, she stifled them as best she could, struggling, regardless of how calm her packmates were, or how wounded they appeared to be. She looked at the medic apprentice, a nod of greeting to anyone who looked at her. "What is Raven Pack doing in camp?" She asked calmly, but caution gripped her tongue. She stepped in, her ears pinned forward. Her left bent in the middle, which flopped around. She sat down and pressed against a wall so that she wouldn't be in the way. She was annoyed at herself that she hadn't noticed sooner, the raw scent of rodent blood had blocked her senses. Her body was stiff, wary of these wounded wolves in her territory. She supposed it'd been too recent for her to pick up since the pair of she-wolves were still soaked from the river, she assumed. She was set in a defensive position, sitting or not, ally or not she didn't like their presence amidst their clan. They already had a medic. Two infact! Or.. Well, one and a half. She added to that thought, unsure of how capable the Raven Pack's medic apprentice, Sundown, was. She was well aware of their own's competent behavior, learnt from the grump they needed so dearly. She shook her head to snap out of her wandering mind to listen if anyone cared to tell her what happened or why two Raven Pack members were there. Her heartbeat rising even though they posed no threat in their condition.

[Killjoy]M]Alpha]Eastern]M: Rags, Sorrel, River] Killjoy watched Sorrel trot into camp, a patchy white rabbit that reminded him of a certain someone on the past. He watched her set it down, and fought the urge to run over and snatch it. His heart felt heavy, and a wave of sadness washed over him. Why do I have to be this way? He scolded himself. He turned to his Betas. "I'll let you two handle this. Please excuse me." He said, nodding his head respectfully at the lone wolf, Rags and Hondo. They could come up with a plan and present it to him later, like tomorrow after he got some sleep. He was too tired for that now. He watched Sorrel approach the Medics den with caution. He stalked towards the den. Why was she in there? Good that she was watching out for her pack, but not either one of the Medic nor his apprentice were present in the den. "Sorrel," he said, stepping into the den, "Thank you for hunting. Do you have a concern that requires the attention of a medic?" He put his large frame between his pack mate and River. He knew River well enough that she wouldn't like the body language that his scout was showing, and he would hate for Sorrel to see the bad side of her. He sat down and rapped his tail around his black paws. He watched River and Aquila in silence, waiting for the Scout to speak. His mind was a mess. It drifted between reality, what was happening right then, and the memories that the rabbit had brought up; the happiest times of his life. He closed his soft blue eyes and tried to push the white coat out of his head. He opened his eyes once again and watched his pack member.

Sorrel | F | 6 | Eastern | M: Killjoy(Di), others in Eastern Camp (Ind). >< Sorrel stared for a moment at them and stood up at the sound of footfalls, the familiar voice of Killjoy, she bowed down a bit to the Alpha, standing in a more respectful posture. "I was, just curious as to why they are here, is everyone okay?" She spoke cautiously. "Step outside?" She offered, not really liking the company of the den. She slipped out, figuring that the Alpha followed. She sat down near a tree a little ways from the medic den. Her tail wrapped over her feet. "Sorry I wasn't back sooner," She paused and decided not to add on that she was practicing hunting. She'd always wanted to be an amazing hunter like her mother, but she was small. It was an amazing strategy honestly that she'd chosen to be a scout, to help her build muscle, and gain experience. She didn't usually come back empty-maw from a scout till recently. The hungry times were closing in, she could tell. The leaves were beginning to fall. Her bright green eyes were narrowed, her hackles still raised. As much as they might be allies she wouldn't take any chances. Her eyes flickered to the den once, had she seen a bit of struggle in the alpha's eyes? Suspicion was rising, she could feel it in her gut. She mentally kicked herself. He's probably exhausted! And that was what she choked it up to be, she tried her best to block out the thoughts and listen to her alpha's words. She sometimes resented leaving camp, not because she liked it there but because she always missed the action. Valuable experience that she felt in deep need of to be present for. And it felt like every time! She mentally kicked herself again. I'm just being dramatic. I'm sure everything will be okay. I'm sure. Chanting it to herself didn't really help. It was worth a shot she supposed.

Loki | Masculine | Apprentice | Raven Pack | M: Sundown (directly), Everyone in the medic den(ind) Gosh.. What a long day it has been.. The brute huffed softly as he laid there, trying not to fall asleep. All he felt like doing right now was sleeping.. Why couldn't he sleep? He was tired, and he hurt bad. Grumbling softly to himself, he lifted his head a bit to look over at the others in the medic den. Noticing yet another wolf walk in. Loki soon turned his attention to Sundown, the wolf whom wouldn't allow him to sleep. "Why can't I sleep?" he asked, huffing. Torrin | Feminine | Apprentice Scout | Eastern Pack | M: Medic Den Group(ind), Justice (Directly) The females auditories would lay back against her crania as she was ignored, By literally everyone. She felt invisible within her own pack. The apprentice just turned and trotted out of the den, tears filling her eyes. Why was she ignored? I mean.. She was busy.. Right? She asked herself in her head. Torrin soon walked into the scout den, seeing her older yet smaller sister laying there with her nose in her tail to keep it warm whilst sleeping. Her audits flicked about. Her green orbs staring solemnly at the ball of fluff that was her sister for a moment. "Why am I such an outcast?" she mumbled to herself, sighing softly before she turned and trotted back out of the den, not noticing she had awakened her sister. But, not hearing her name being called either. Torrin kept going until she was outside of the camp. She stopped, looking behind her and sighed softly before continuing on her way at a fast paced trot. Her heart felt empty. It was as if she was dead and was a spirit that no one knew about. All the time.. She thought to herself. Justice | Feminine | Scout | Eastern Pack | M: Torrin(ind), The Rest Of The Pack Snoring, the female would be curled up into a ball on the floor of the den. Her nose tucked under her tail to keep it warm whilst she slept. It had been a long day.. For everyone. There wasn't a day that passed that wasn't long. At least not for her. "Why am I such an outcast?" The female sighed softly as she was awakened by the sound of her sisters voice, but, when she was awake enough to notice her sister leaving, she flicked her auditories back against her craia, "Torrin?" she asked, standing up and shaking her pelt out before trotting after her sister. But.. She had disappeared. Justice snarled softly to herself before she quickly trotted toward where she smelt the rest of the pack, "What happened to my sister?" she asked everyone, her green eyes trailing along each and every wolf. "Have you not acknowledged her at all?" she asked louder, making sure she got everyones attention. "You all know well how Torrin gets," she growled out slightly.

River | F | Hunter | Raven | M: Sorrel, Killjoy, Aquila(ind) River looked up as a new female came in, practically demanding what they were doing there. River sat up, her eyes narrowing at the female's hostile pose and raised fur. Ally's or not, if this female deemed a threat to Aquila, she wouldn't hesitate to defend. She had to make sure she thought defend and not attack. Defend. A moment later, Killjoy came in and she relaxed, her fur flattening. She did notice however, that he put himself in between them.
As the female excused herself, River flicked her tail in Killjoy's path. "I know your pack doesn't trust us much but could we. .maybe talk in a bit? It's fine if your busy or want to sleep, it was just a question." River said before half backing out of the question, her ears flattening slightly. She stayed sitting for a moment before curling her tail around her paws, looking a bit uncomfortable as she waited for his answer.

|Killjoy|M|Alpha|Eastern|M: River, Sorrel, group| Killjoy nodded at Sorrel as she walked by. "Yeah, we can talk outside. I'll be out in a minute." He said, watching her go. Once she was out, he turned to River and Aquila. He watched River, his head turned slightly to the left. He blinked and looked over his shoulder to see where Sorrel was sitting. He got up to leave when he saw Rivers tail flick in his way. He stopped at looked at her. "I am sorry that my pack isn't so open to having you two stay the night. I'm sure that your pack would be very welcoming." He said, somewhat disapointed in how unwelcoming his pack was. "Where would you like to talk? If it would be better for you, I could go and tell Sorrel why you both are here, and while we are talking she could make herself acquainted with Aquila, and maybe it would help clear the tension?" He suggested, nodding his head towards the hurt female. He let out a sigh, and looked out the den into the sky. Who needed sleep? Not him. He watched a faint outline trot out of camp before hearing Justices voice. He huffed, and got up quickly. He moved outside, past Sorrel and over to Justice. "What do you mean Torrin is gone?" He asked, looking over his shoulder at where River was. He then looked over to Sorrel. The talk with River is going to have to wait. He thought, before addressing Sorrel. "Sorrel, could you come over here? We can speak here right now. He was slightly annoyed at the tone that his Scout spoke in. He was tired, hungry, and just wanted to sleep, but his list just seemed to keep on going. "Justice. Don't speak to your Betas that way." He growled, his normal soft blue eyes icy. "Torrin should know better then to leave camp alone at night. Illusion!" He barked, and saw his half white face poke out from his den. "Do you know what time it is?" Illusion growled, walking down the path from his den. "Don't get snappy with me." Killjoy growled at his lead hunter. He snarled at Illusion, making Illusion's fit go away. Killjoy watched the long coated wolf bow his head. "I am sorry. What can I do?" "You can go and find Torrin." He instructed, and watched Illusions bushy tail leave, tracing her scent out the camp. Killjoy then turned to Justice. "Can you please go with him?" He asked, in a overpowering tone. He once again turned to look at River before speaking to Sorrel. "It's fine that you weren't back sooner, just maybe next time take someone else with you. I don't want you to get hurt out scouting alone." He said, before addressing the elephant in the room. "The two of them are only staying the night, they got hurt while hunting and it was easier for us to bring them here and treat them then take them all the way pack to Raven pack." He said, blinking slowly. Edited at December 26, 2022 05:15 PM by Jumping Wolves

Sorrel | F | 3 | Eastern | Scout | M: Justice, Illusion, Kiljoy(Di). Torrin, River, Aquila(Ind). >< Sorrel watched him with River, noticing the fondness of the way he spoke to her. She narrowed her eyes. She looked off toward her den, eventually she'd get to sleep sooner or later. Just then she heard her name. She stood quickly and padded toward the small gathering of wolves obediently. She wedged her ears forward, sitting down on the dusty ground, she glanced at the sky for a moment. Then back down and listened intently. Torrin was missing? She filled with concern, though not knowing her very well it was still not good to be missing a packmate. Her eyes flicked around each face. She tilted her head toward Killjoy as he spoke to her. "Noted," but I prefer it alone.. She held her tongue from talking back, even though she considered it a bit obnoxious, for lack of better word, that she shouldn't speak her mind. Her parents had been hard about that. "Accept it and move on, always be respectful. If I hear that again I'll make you be respectful." And "Say that again. The right way. Or I'll give you a reason to complain." She reminiced for a moment, reminded of the verbal and sometimes physical dicipline she resceved all too often. Sorrel snapped back to reality as Killjoy spoke about the Raven Pack. She stared at him to comprehend for a moment. Her eyes twitch back and forth between his eyes. He is fond of that one. She mentally kicked herself for the third time before she responded. "Certainly sir." She hesitated. "When they are better, would you like me to help escort them back? I know the fastest way." She spoke softly, but stern. She hoped she could help, since it'd clicked that he wished they respect the Raven Pack's members in the camp. "And the smoothest way, for better walking." She looked off toward the den, River in view, she waited till she caught River's eye to give a respectful nod toward her before turning back to her Alpha. |Harry|M|Guard|Strays United|M: Alha| Harry was brought out of his trance of thinking about counting sheep when he heard his Alpha speak. "Patrol?" He asked, sitting up, "Now your speaking! I would love to join you for patrol! Where are we going?" He asked, his long fluffy tail thumping up and down. He had always loved patrol, and he couldn't help but feel his heart soar every time he heard the word. He stood up, and shook himself off. He yawned, and then turned to Alha to lead the way. It was only polite that his Alpha led, even if he wanted to. (Ahhh. It's so short >.<)

|Sundown|M|Medics Apprentice|Raven|M:Everyone in the den| Sundown looked up from his nest, where he had settled down not too long ago in the corner. "I already told you Loki; you mustn't sleep until Ore clears you to. If you have a head injury it will make it worse. Must I bite you again?" He watched Laan for a bit before speaking to the Scout. "Where do I began?" He chuckled a bit, but felt his heart in his throat. He didn't like this many wolves in his safe place. He looked around nervously. "I found Brute on the bank of the river, hurt of course, Night on the other side with, I'm assuming Shadow. Ore should be coming back this way with him shortly. Loki decided to get in a fight with a lone wolf that he knew he couldn't take down." He shot him a look of 'I know it wasn't your fault, you panicked.' Sundown got up to check on both Brute and Loki's wounds. "How are you feeling?" He asked Loki, checking to see if his side was still bleeding. Once he was done with Loki he moved over to Brute. "How are you feeling?" He repeated himself. He felt like Ore had programmed it into him. Always ask questions to make them think about how they are feeling so that if it is something new, I can address it. He thought, watching Laan out of the corner of his eye.
