Jett|Male|Medic App|Shival|M:Open Jett blinked awake to the sound of the bustling pack members. He stood, stretching out his legs as he walked to the entrance of his den. Sometimes, he had second thoughts about being a medic, since he no longer had a mentor, but he knew that he had to take his job seriously no matter what happened. He had- maybe three moons of training, so maybe he could pass as a full medic someday. Letting out a deep sigh, he shook out his pelt as he stepped out of the shadow of the well-hidden medic's den. The camp was busy, as normal, with wolves stalking in corners or basking in the sun. He relaxed onto his side, letting the noise of the wind take his conciousness and make it wander. Breeze / 6 / Female / Shival / Alpha / M: Navajo; Tala She watched politely as Tala joined herself and Navajo, nodding to the female before giving a look of reassurance to her mate. Listening to them speak, she knew that they needed to tell the pack of this, to stop all of the unecessary worrying by her wolves. Damn the Zena Pack. She thought, before stopping herself. Then, as Navajo trotted away and leapt up onto the log, she came out of her slightly trance-like state and joined him, waiting until he had finished speaking before stepping forward and raising her voice. "Now, are any of you warriors willing to go on a border patrol please? I want at least three wolves going." She eyed the surrounding wolves, before smiling at Navajo briefly. She heard a noise close to camp and pricked her ears, her eyes swivelling quickly to try and see the culprit. Realising that it was just a bird, she shook herself, annoyed that the Zena's misfortune had made everyone so paranoid. Aurea / 8 / Female / Zena / M: Soraya; Roscoe "Hello my darling!" Aurea said from her place on the ground as her pup bounded over. She lifted her head and tucked her paws beneath her before looking up at her daughter's face.
"Do you think I'll do any battle training today? I'm getting better at protecting myself! I'll show you sometime." After a pause, her daughter continued. "Mother, do you know where the Medic is by chance?"
Aurea replied kindly. "As an answer to your first question, I hope you do some training. It is vital learning, my dear. It is great that you are getting better! As for the Medic... I have not seen her. Sorry, Soraya." She sighed and looked down, before coughing again. Then Roscoe came over and asked if she was the wolf who was injured and with a cough. "Indeed, youngling, I am getting older, and I am riddled with ailments."

Sagefire | Female | Warrior | Zena | M: Angelica, Nightfall Sagefire shot the loner a glare, “That is Nightfall,” she answered, assuming the loner was speaking to her. “Now who are you?” She asked once again, her eyes sparked with annoyance. Sagefire heard Nightfall ask her a question and turned around replying, “Go ahead, maybe she’ll answer your questions rather than mine..” Sagefire looked back at the loner shooting her another dark look. She never trusted loners or outsiders that didn't belong to her own pack, from Sagefire’s perspective you couldn't trust loners or other packs, the only ones Sagefire really trusted was her own pack. Watching as Nightfall disappeared into the clearing Sagefire noticed her beckon for the loner to follow and wondered if she actually would or not, seeing how this loner in particular was very uncooperative. Sighing she glanced up at the sky where a bird flew overhead, it seemed to be getting lighter now and Sagefire wondered how long she had been out here. As she gazed around her she realized she had forgotten something, the rabbit, crap, I wonder if it's still buried under that tree! Sagefire thought feeling alarmed, what if another animal had gotten to it? Then her hard work of catching it would be all for nothing. Taking a deep breath Sagefire calmed herself down, annoyed at herself for feeling so alarmed. What is up with my feelings? They seem so muddled. She glanced back down, waiting for whenever Nightfall would come back again, and also curious as to how the rest of the pack was doing.

Raigho || M || Beta || Shival || M: Open / Midnight He looked over at his mate Midnight. He could see it in her expression she wasn't happy about the news. "I agree, it's not good but we're going to all get through this." He nudged her softly on the neck. He stiffened slightly at her last words. He started thinking hard. What had he done? Nothing wrong surely. She didn't seem upset but rather worried. "Uh y-yea, sure. Is everything ok?" He said nervously. She was the only wolf who made him stutter and made him feel this way. He couldn't help but love it though. Whatever it was he decided, it couldn't be that bad. Edited at April 6, 2022 09:25 PM by Aberrant Canines

Midnight|Female|Beta|Shival|M:Raigho Midnight looked at Raigho and licked him softly. She loved her mate but she wasn't sure how he was going to react. As she listened to the Alphas she stood and walked to their den. She flicked her tail in a way that says follow me. Once she was in the den she looked at Raigho as he walked in. She said "I was wondering how you would feel about pups?" She looked at him she was scared that she might turn him away. She knew she loved Raigho and wouldn't take it well if he left her. Midnight watched Raigho waiting for an answer. Midnight thought back to when her parents would talk about the same talk they had with each other about having pups. She wasn't all the way in there den just at the entrance because we needed to her what the Alphas said. Edited at April 6, 2022 09:33 PM by Nikki Afton

Mishka Alpha Female | Zena | M: Karim . The Alpha appreciated how thoughtful the Delta was and she realized he was correct with some parts he said. Her thoughts were racing as she tried to figure out what would work best for the pack. Since the hunters would be out anyway, it would be beneficial to have them patrol as well. "Very well, the hunters can patrol while they are out. It would save us time and if they find anything suspicious, they can report back to me." Mishka finally decided. Mishka was glad she had such a caring wolf by her side. The Alpha flicked her tail as she took another look of the activity within her pack, trying to get a count of who is awake and who has not appeared yet. . Soraya Juvenile | Female | Zena | M: Aurea, Roscoe . Soraya frowned when her mother had said she hasn't seen the Medic anywhere. Oh no. Have I let Roscoe down? She thought to herself. Speaking of Roscoe, Soraya jumped as she caught sight of him entering the den where her and her mother were at. She watched the two interact, carrying a goofy smile on her maw while her ears were pinned. Soraya stayed very close to her mother as she spoke to the medic apprentice. The female pinned her tail to her side as she avoided eye contact with the male. Perhaps he had found Snow? Soraya could only hope.

Raigho || M || Beta || Shival || M: Open / Midnight Raigho stared after his mate as she beckoned him to their den. Eagerly he followed but he kept half of his attention to the alphas. They entered the den and his eyes adjusted to the dim lighting. He sat down his paws rather clumsily placed and his tail trailing straight out behind him. He looked at Midnight while she spoke and he tried to contain his excitement. Pups? Pups?! He thought about it quickly. They weren't the youngest wolves around anymore. The thought of pups scared the shit out of him but he felt like he could handle them. maybe... "Midnight," he started but hesitated a second longer before continuing, "I think that it's a wonderful idea. You would be such an amazing mother." His tail started wagging creating a dust cloud as it thumped against the den floor. A father... he could be a dad! And Midnight seemed to want pups too. They would be the best warriors the pack had ever seen. He was looking at his paws then looked back into Midnight's eyes. "We would have to ask the alphas first"

Angelica | Female | Loner | Mentions: Sagefire, Nightfall
"Oh, Nightfall is it. How curious." she replied, with a slightly taunting smile in her sister's direction. Angelica was a little surprised at hearing her request. It wasn't too odd for her sister to want a word in private, after all, she had been gone for nearly a year. But didn't Nightfall just tell the other wolf she had been instructed to stay by Sagefire's side? Wouldn't the other wolf find it odd that she wanted to speak with her alone? Because the other wolf clearly had no idea they were sisters. Nevertheless, Angelica wouldn't mind a little catching up with her sister. The two of them were so alike in many ways, but different enough they sometimes were at odds with each other. Despite any arguments they might have however, she still loved her sister. And she was immensly curious as to figure out what the hell her sister had been up to. Sagefire, Mishka... I don't know these wolves, and we're clearly on Zena territory here... What are you up to now, my dear sister? And here they say I'm the troublemaker... Shrugging off the thoughts, the raven-black wolf gave a slight nod in parting to the wolf named Sagefire, before following her sister. Normally she would have been more careful of turning her back to a stranger, but Angelica trusted her sister not to lead her into some kind of ambush. Nightfall might have some strange ideas, but she would never hurt her family. "So, pray tell dear sister - what in the woods have you gotten yourself into now?"
Karim | Male | Delta | Zena | Mentions: Mishka, (+ everyone in Zena pack)
He watched as the alpha spoke, not just listening to her words, but keeping a keen eye on her mannerisms. She seemed so calm and collected - always in control. But Karim knew she must be having a hard time concentrating on her every duty right now. And he worried for her. As he had become great friends with her mate, so had the two of them grown close, and as the pack's delta he had worked closely with them both. "Considering the tumultuos times ahead of us, I would recommend we stock up on food supplies. We have a decent amount right now, but hunting may be difficult if fightings break out. We should send Bandit, Shade & Moonlight out as a team to take down some big prey together. Rabbits & squirrles aren't enough in the long run." Karim offered advice as best he could. Mishka was free to decide herself, and would no doubt make the right decisions, but he wanted to support her in any way he could, and show Mishka she could rely on him when she needed it. And controlling a pack of often surprisingly independent wolves scattered about the territory could be difficult any day, let alone when grieving. "Since Sagefire and Nightfall are out near the Shival pack border, I will remain here with Skya, to ensure the safety of the rest of the pack." As he spoke the words, Karim nodded to Skya who was a little further away. He would have to speak with her later. Edited at April 7, 2022 02:45 PM by Carnage
